SECOND READING 

"Whether we remain in this body or outside, our ambition is to please the Lord" 

A Reading from the second letter of Saint Paul the apostle to the Corinthians (5, 6-10) 

Brothers, we always keep trust, knowing that we remain far from the Lord, as long as we remain in this body; in fact, we walk in faith, not in clear vision. Yes, we trust, and we would rather leave the home of this body to stay close to the Lord. But anyway, whether we remain in this body or outside, our ambition is to please the Lord. For we will all have to appear uncovered before the Judgment Seat of Christ, so that each one may be rewarded for what he has done, either for good or for bad, while he was in his body.

How good it is to give thanks to the Lord,

to sing for your name, God Most High,

to proclaim your love,

your fidelity from the morning onwards, your fidelity, throughout the nights. R 

The righteous will grow like a palm tree,

and grow like a cedar in Lebanon;

planted in the courts of the Lord,

it will grow in the house of our God. R 

Aging, it still bears fruit,

it keeps its sap and its greenness

to proclaim: "The Lord is upright!"

A Reading from the book of the prophet Ezekiel (17, 22-24) 

Thus says the Lord God: “From the top of the great cedar I will take a stalk; at the top of its branch I will pick a very young one, and I will plant it myself on a very high mountain. On the high mountain of Israel I will plant it. It will bear twigs, and bear fruit, it will become a magnificent cedar. Below it will live all the sparrows and all kinds of birds, in the shade of its branches they will live. Then all the trees of the field will know that I am the Lord: I overturn the lofty tree and raise the fallen tree, I dry the green tree and make the dry tree green again. I am the Lord, I have spoken, and I will. "

இந்நிகழ்ச்சிகளை எல்லாம் தமது உள்ளத்தில் பதித்து வைத்திருந்தார்.

லூக்கா எழுதிய நற்செய்தியிலிருந்து வாசகம் 2: 41-51

ஆண்டுதோறும் இயேசுவின் பெற்றோர் பாஸ்கா விழாவைக் கொண்டாட எருசலேமுக்குப் போவார்கள்; இயேசுவுக்குப் பன்னிரண்டு வயது ஆனபோது, வழக்கப்படி விழாவைக் கொண்டாட எருசலேம் சென்றனர். விழா நாள்கள் முடிந்து அவர்கள் திரும்பியபோது, சிறுவன் இயேசு எருசலேமில் தங்கிவிட்டார். இது அவருடைய பெற்றோருக்குத் தெரியாது; பயணிகள் கூட்டத்தில் அவர் இருப்பார் என்று எண்ணினர். ஒருநாள் பயணம் முடிந்தபின்பு உறவினரிடையேயும் அறிமுகமானவர்களிடையேயும் அவரைத் தேடினர்; அவரைக் காணாததால் அவரைத் தேடிக்கொண்டு எருசலேமுக்குத் திரும்பிச் சென்றார்கள்.

மூன்று நாள்களுக்குப்பின் அவரைக் கோவிலில் கண்டார்கள். அங்கே அவர் போதகர்கள் நடுவில் அமர்ந்து அவர்கள் சொல்வதைக் கேட்டுக் கொண்டும் அவர்களிடம் கேள்விகளை எழுப்பிக் கொண்டுமிருந்தார். அவற்றைக் கேட்ட அனைவரும் அவருடைய புரிந்து கொள்ளும் திறனையும் அவர் அளித்த பதில்களையும் கண்டு மலைத்துப் போயினர். அவருடைய பெற்றோரும் அவரைக் கண்டு வியப்பில் ஆழ்ந்தனர். அப்பொழுது அவருடைய தாய் அவரை நோக்கி, “மகனே, ஏன் இப்படிச் செய்தாய்? இதோ பார், உன் தந்தையும் நானும் உன்னை மிகுந்த கவலையோடு தேடிக்கொண்டிருந்தோமே” என்றார். அவர் அவர்களிடம் “நீங்கள் ஏன் என்னைத் தேடினீர்கள்? நான் என் தந்தையின் அலுவல்களில் ஈடுபட்டிருக்க வேண்டும் என்பது உங்களுக்குத் தெரியாதா?” என்றார். அவர் சொன்னதை அவர்கள் புரிந்து கொள்ளவில்லை.

பின்பு அவர் அவர்களுடன் சென்று நாசரேத்தை அடைந்து அவர்களுக்குப் பணிந்து நடந்தார். அவருடைய தாய் இந்நிகழ்ச்சிகளையெல்லாம் தமது உள்ளத்தில் பதித்து வைத்திருந்தார்.

ஆண்டவரின் அருள்வாக்கு.

முதல் வாசகம்

பாவம் அறியாத கிறிஸ்துவைப் பாவநிலை ஏற்கச் செய்தார்.

திருத்தூதர் பவுல் கொரிந்தியருக்கு எழுதிய இரண்டாம் திருமுகத்திலிருந்து வாசகம் 5: 14-21

சகோதரர் சகோதரிகளே,

கிறிஸ்துவின் பேரன்பே எங்களை ஆட்கொள்கிறது. ஏனெனில் ஒருவர் அனைவருக்காகவும் இறந்தார். அனைவரும் அவரோடு இறந்தனர். இது நமக்குத் தெரியும். வாழ்வோர் இனி தங்களுக்கென வாழாமல் தங்களுக்காக இறந்து உயிர்பெற்றெழுந்தவருக்காக வாழ வேண்டும் என்பதற்காகவே அவர் அனைவருக்காகவும் இறந்தார்.

ஆகவே இனிமேல் நாங்கள் எவரையும் மனித முறைப்படி மதிப்பிடுவது இல்லை; முன்பு நாங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவையும் மனித முறைப்படிதான் மதிப்பிட்டோம். ஆனால் இப்போது அவ்வாறு செய்வதில்லை. எனவே ஒருவர் கிறிஸ்துவோடு இணைந்திருக்கும்போது அவர் புதிதாகப் படைக்கப் பட்டவராய் இருக்கிறார். பழையன கழிந்து புதியன புகுந்தன அன்றோ!

இவை யாவும் கடவுளின் செயலே. அவரே கிறிஸ்துவின் வாயிலாக நம்மைத் தம்மோடு ஒப்புரவாக்கினார்; ஒப்புரவாக்கும் திருப்பணியையும் நமக்குத் தந்துள்ளார். உலகினரின் குற்றங்களைப் பொருட்படுத்தாமல் கடவுள் கிறிஸ்துவின் வாயிலாக அவர்களைத் தம்மோடு ஒப்புரவாக்கினார். அந்த ஒப்புரவுச் செய்தியை எங்களிடம் ஒப்படைத்தார். எனவே நாங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவின் தூதுவர்களாய் இருக்கிறோம். கடவுளே எங்கள் வாயிலாக வேண்டுகோள் விடுக்கிறார். ஆகவே கடவுளோடு ஒப்புரவாகுங்கள் என்று கிறிஸ்துவின் சார்பில் நாங்கள் மன்றாடுகிறோம். நாம் கிறிஸ்து வழியாகத் தமக்கு ஏற்புடையவராகுமாறு கடவுள் பாவம் அறியாத அவரைப் பாவநிலை ஏற்கச் செய்தார்.

"His mother kept all these events in her heart" 

A Reading From The Holy Gospel According To Luke (2, 41-51) 

Every year, Jesus' parents went to Jerusalem for the feast of the Passover. When he was twelve years old, they went up on a pilgrimage according to custom.

At the end of the feast, as they were returning, young Jesus remained in Jerusalem without the knowledge of his parents. Thinking that he was in the pilgrim convoy, they walked a day before looking for him among their relatives and acquaintances. Not finding him, they returned to Jerusalem, continuing to search for him.

It was at the end of three days that they found him in the Temple, seated among the doctors of the Law: he listened to them and asked them questions, and all who heard him were ecstatic over his understanding and over his answers. Seeing him, his parents were amazed, and his mother said to him: “My child, why have you done this to us? See how your father and I suffered while looking for you! "He said to them," How come you looked for me? Did you not know that I must be with my Father? But they didn't understand what he was telling them.

He went down with them to go to Nazareth, and he was subject to them. Her mother kept all these events in her heart.
