FIRST READING 

"We recommend ourselves as ministers of God" 

A Reading from the second letter of Saint Paul the apostle to the Corinthians (6, 1-10) 

Brothers, as co-operators with God, we again exhort you not to leave the grace received from him ineffective. For he says in the scripture, At the right time I heard you, in the day of salvation I helped you. Now is the auspicious time, here it is now the day of salvation.

So that our ministry is not exposed to criticism, we take care not to shock anyone in any way. On the contrary, in everything we recommend ourselves as ministers of God: by much endurance, in distress, difficulties, anguish, beatings, prison, riots, fatigue, lack of sleep. and food, by chastity, knowledge, patience and goodness, holiness of spirit and sincerity of love, by a word of truth, by a power which comes from God; we present ourselves with the weapons of justice for attack and defense, in glory and contempt, in bad and good reputation. We are called impostors, and we speak the truth; we are taken for strangers, and we are very well known; we are believed to be dying, and we are very much alive; we are punished, and we are not put to death; we are believed to be sad, and we are always happy; poor, and we make so many rich; deprived of everything, and we own everything.

எல்லா விதைகளையும்விடச் சிறியது. எல்லாச் செடிகளையும் விடப் பெரிதாகிறது.

மாற்கு எழுதிய நற்செய்தியிலிருந்து வாசகம் 4: 26-34

அக்காலத்தில்

இயேசு மக்கள் கூட்டத்தை நோக்கிக் கூறியது: “இறையாட்சியைப் பின்வரும் நிகழ்ச்சிக்கு ஒப்பிடலாம்: நிலத்தில் ஒருவர் விதைக்கிறார். அவர் எதுவும் செய்யாமலே நாள்கள் நகர்ந்து செல்கின்றன. அவருக்குத் தெரியாமல் விதை முளைத்து வளர்கிறது. முதலில் தளிர், பின்பு கதிர், அதன் பின் கதிர் நிறைய தானியம் என்று நிலம் தானாகவே விளைச்சல் அளிக்கிறது. பயிர் விளைந்ததும் அவர் அரிவாளோடு புறப்படுகிறார்; ஏனெனில் அறுவடைக் காலம் வந்துவிட்டது” என்று கூறினார்.

மேலும் அவர், “இறையாட்சியை எதற்கு ஒப்பிடலாம்? அல்லது எந்த உவமையால் அதை எடுத்துச் சொல்லலாம்? அது கடுகு விதைக்கு ஒப்பாகும். அது நிலத்தில் விதைக்கப்படும் பொழுது உலகிலுள்ள எல்லா விதைகளையும் விடச் சிறியது. அது விதைக்கப்பட்ட பின் முளைத்தெழுந்து எல்லாச் செடிகளையும் விடப் பெரிதாகி, வானத்துப் பறவைகள் அதன் நிழலில் தங்கக்கூடிய அளவுக்குப் பெருங்கிளைகள் விடும்” என்று கூறினார்.

அவர்களது கேட்டறியும் திறமைக்கு ஏற்ப, அவர் இத்தகைய பல உவமைகளால் இறைவார்த்தையை அவர்களுக்கு எடுத்துரைத்து வந்தார். உவமைகள் இன்றி அவர் அவர்களோடு பேசவில்லை. ஆனால் தனிமையாக இருந்தபோது தம் சீடருக்கு அனைத்தையும் விளக்கிச் சொன்னார்.

ஆண்டவரின் அருள்வாக்கு.

ஜூன் 13 : இரண்டாம் வாசகம்நாம் இவ்வுடலில் குடியிருந்தாலும் குடிபெயர்ந்தாலும் அவருக்கு உகந்தவராய் இருப்பதே நம் நோக்கம்.திருத்தூதர் பவுல் கொரிந்தியருக்கு எழுதிய இரண்டாம் திருமுகத்திலிருந்து வாசகம் 5: 6-10

நாம் இவ்வுடலில் குடியிருந்தாலும் குடிபெயர்ந்தாலும் அவருக்கு உகந்தவராய் இருப்பதே நம் நோக்கம்.

திருத்தூதர் பவுல் கொரிந்தியருக்கு எழுதிய இரண்டாம் திருமுகத்திலிருந்து வாசகம் 5: 6-10

சகோதரர் சகோதரிகளே,

நாங்கள் எப்போதும் துணிவுடன் இருக்கிறோம். இவ்வுடலில் குடியிருக்கும் வரையில் நாம் ஆண்டவரிடமிருந்து அகன்று இருக்கிறோம் என்பது நமக்குத் தெரியும். நாம் காண்பவற்றின் அடிப்படையில் அல்ல, நம்பிக்கையின் அடிப்படையிலேயே வாழ்கிறோம். நாம் துணிவுடன் இருக்கிறோம். இவ்வுடலை விட்டகன்று ஆண்டவரோடு குடியிருக்கவே விரும்புகிறோம்.

எனவே நாம் இவ்வுடலில் குடியிருந்தாலும் அதிலிருந்து குடிபெயர்ந்தாலும் அவருக்கு உகந்தவராய் இருப்பதே நம் நோக்கம். ஏனெனில் நாம் அனைவருமே கிறிஸ்துவின் நடுவர் இருக்கை முன்பாக நின்றாக வேண்டும். அப்போது உடலோடு வாழ்ந்தபோது நாம் செய்த நன்மை தீமைக்குக் கைம்மாறு பெற்றுக்கொள்ளுமாறு ஒவ்வொருவரின் செயல்களும் வெளிப்படும்.

அல்லேலூயா, அல்லேலூயா! 

இறைவாக்கு வித்தாகும்; கிறிஸ்துவே விதைப்பவர்; அவரைக் கண்டடைகிறவன் என்றென்றும் நிலைத்திருப்பான். அல்லேலூயா.

தலைவராகிய ஆண்டவர் கூறுவது இதுவே: உயர்ந்த கேதுரு மரத்தின் நுனிக் கிளை ஒன்றை எடுத்து நானே நடுவேன். இளங்கொழுந்து ஒன்றை அதன் நுனிக் கொப்புகளிலிருந்து கொய்து, ஓங்கி உயர்ந்ததொரு மலைமேல் நான் நடுவேன்.

இஸ்ரயேலின் மலையுச்சியில் நான் அதை நடுவேன். அது கிளைத்து, கனி தந்து, சிறந்த கேதுரு மரமாகத் திகழும். அனைத்து வகைப் பறவைகளும் அதனைத் தம் உறைவிடமாகக் கொள்ளும். அதன் கிளைகளின் நிழல்களில் அவை வந்து தங்கும்.

ஆண்டவராகிய நான் ஓங்கிய மரத்தைத் தாழ்த்தி, தாழ்ந்த மரத்தை ஓங்கச் செய்துள்ளேன் என்றும், பசுமையான மரத்தை உலரச் செய்து, உலர்ந்த மரத்தைத் தழைக்கச் செய்துள்ளேன் என்றும், அப்போது வயல்வெளி மரங்களெல்லாம் அறிந்து கொள்ளும். ஆண்டவராகிய நானே உரைத்துள்ளேன்; நான் செய்து காட்டுவேன்.

"It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it grows it exceeds all vegetable plants" 

A Reading From The Holy Gospel According To Mark (4, 26-34) 

At that time, speaking to the crowd, Jesus said: "It is with the reign of God as with a man who sows seed in the earth: night and day, whether he sleeps or rises, the seed germinates and grows, he does not know how. The earth produces of itself first the grass, then the ear, then the full wheat ear. And as soon as the wheat is ripe, he puts the sickle in it, because the time of harvest has come. "

And he said," What shall we compare the kingdom of God? By what parable can we represent it? It is like a mustard seed: when sown in the ground, it is the smallest of all seeds. But when it has been sown, it grows and exceeds all vegetable plants; and it spreads out long branches, so that the birds of the air can make their nests in its shade. "

In many such parables, Jesus preached the Word to them, as far as they were able to hear it. He didn't say anything to them without a parable, but he explained everything to his disciples in particular.

SECOND READING 

"Whether we remain in this body or outside, our ambition is to please the Lord" 

A Reading from the second letter of Saint Paul the apostle to the Corinthians (5, 6-10) 

Brothers, we always keep trust, knowing that we remain far from the Lord, as long as we remain in this body; in fact, we walk in faith, not in clear vision. Yes, we trust, and we would rather leave the home of this body to stay close to the Lord. But anyway, whether we remain in this body or outside, our ambition is to please the Lord. For we will all have to appear uncovered before the Judgment Seat of Christ, so that each one may be rewarded for what he has done, either for good or for bad, while he was in his body. 

- Word of the Lord.
