Respons: To him who watches over his conduct, I will show the salvation of God.
Psalm 49 (50)
“Listen, my people, I speak;
Israel, I call you as a witness.
I do not accuse you for your sacrifices;
your burnt offerings are always before me. R
“Shall I eat the flesh of bulls
and drink the blood of rams?
Offer the sacrifice of thanksgiving to God,
fulfill your vows to the Most High. R
"What have you to recite my laws,
to keep my covenant in your mouth,
you who do not like reproaches
and reject my words far from you? R
“This is what you do; will I keep silent?
Do you think i'm like you
Who offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving,
he gives me glory. "R
