Respons : Our eyes, raised to the Lord, await his mercy.
Psalm (Ps 122 (123), 1-2ab, 2cdef, 3-4) (cf. Ps 122, 2)
My eyes are raised
towards you , towards you who art in heaven,
like the eyes of a slave
towards the hand of his master. R
Like the eyes of a servant
to the hand of her mistress,
our eyes, lifted up to the Lord our God,
await her pity. R
Have mercy on us, Lord, have mercy on us:
our soul is full of contempt.
It is too much, we are satisfied with the laughter of the satisfied,
the contempt of the proud! R
