Respons : You are taking my life out of the pit,
Lord my God.
In my distress I cry to the Lord,
and he answers me;
from the belly of hell I call:
you listen to my voice.
You threw me into the depths of the heart of the seas,
and the flood surrounded me;
your waves and your waves together
have passed over me.
And I said: here I am rejected
from before your eyes;
will I be able to see
your holy temple again?
When my soul in me was failing,
I remembered the Lord;
and my prayer reached you
in your holy temple.
