📖GOSPEL
"The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few"
A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke (10, 1-9)
At that time, among the disciples, the Lord appointed 72 more, and he sent them two by two, ahead of him, to every town and place where he himself was going to go. He said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers for his harvest. Go! Here I am sending you out like lambs among wolves. Do not carry a purse, bag, or sandals, and do not greet anyone on the way. But in any house you enter, say first, “Peace to this house.” If there is a friend of peace there, your peace will rest on him; otherwise, it will come back to you. Stay in this house, eating and drinking what you are served; because the worker deserves his salary. Do not go from house to house. In any city you enter and be greeted, eat what is presented to you. Heal the sick in there and say, “The kingdom of God has come near to you.” "
