You have given the earth its foundation:
that it will remain unshakeable over time.
You clothed her with the depths of the seas:
the waters even covered the mountains. R
In the ravines you make springs gush forth
and water flows through the hollows of the mountains;
the birds stay near it:
in the foliage we hear their cries. R
What a profusion in your works, Lord!
All this your wisdom has done;
the earth is filled with your goods.
