To you, Lord, I lift up my soul.

I rely on you: spare me the shame;
do not let my enemy triumph.
For those who hope in you, no shame,
but shame and disappointment for those who betray. R
Lord, teach me your ways,
let me know your way.
Guide me through your truth, teach me,
for you are the God who saves me. R
Remember, Lord, your tenderness,
your love that is forever.
In your love, do not forget me,
because of your goodness, Lord. R
The Lord is righteous, he is good,
he who shows sinners the way.
His righteousness directs the humble,
