Glorify the Lord, Jerusalem!
Celebrate your God, O Zion!
He has strengthened the bars of your gates;
in your walls he has blessed your children.
He maketh peace to reign in thy borders,
and with wheat bread satisfies thee.
He sends his word to the earth:
fast, his word travels through it.
He reveals his word to Jacob,
his will and his laws to Israel.
Not a people he has treated like this;
no one else knew his wishes.
