“The unclean spirits cried, 'You are the Son of God!' But he strongly forbade them to make him known ” 

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Mark (3, 7-12) 

At that time Jesus withdrew with his disciples by the sea, and a great multitude of people from Galilee followed him. From Judea, Jerusalem, Idumea, Transjordan, and the region of Tire and Sidon also came to him a multitude of people who had heard of what he was doing.

He told his disciples to keep a boat at his disposal so that the crowd would not run over him. Because he had done a lot of healings, so that all those who were suffering from any evil rushed to him to touch him. And when the unclean spirits saw him, they threw themselves at his feet and cried: “You are the Son of God! But he strongly forbade them to make him known.
