_The Lord Almighty gives strength to the "weary."_

*A Reading from the Book of Isaiah 40:25-31*

'To whom can you compare me, or who is my equal?' says the Holy One. Lift your eyes and look: he who created these things leads out their army in order, summoning each of them by name. So mighty is his power, so great his strength, that not one fails to answer. How can you say, Jacob, how can you repeat, Israel, 'My way is hidden from Yahweh, my rights are ignored by my God'? Did you not know? Had you not heard? Yahweh is the everlasting God, he created the remotest parts of the earth. He does not grow tired or weary, his understanding is beyond fathoming. He gives strength to the weary, he strengthens the powerless. Youths grow tired and weary, the young stumble and fall, but those who hope in Yahweh will regain their strength, they will sprout wings like eagles, though they run they will not grow weary, though they walk they will never tire.

என் முழு உளமே! அவரது திருப்பெயரை ஏத்திடு!

அவருடைய கனிவான செயல்கள் அனைத்தையும் மறவாதே! -பல்லவி

_எல்லாம் வல்ல ஆண்டவர் “சோர்வுற்றவருக்கு” வலிமை அளிக்கின்றார்._

*இறைவாக்கினர் எசாயா நூலிலிருந்து வாசகம் 40: 25-31*

`யாருக்கு என்னை ஒப்பிடுவீர்கள்? எனக்கு நிகரானவர் யார்?' என்கிறார் தூயவர். உங்கள் கண்களை உயர்த்தி மேலே பாருங்கள்; அவற்றைப் படைத்தவர் யார்? வான் படையை எண்ணிக்கை வாரியாய் வெளிக்கொணர்ந்து ஒவ்வொன்றையும் பெயர் சொல்லி அழைப்பவர் அன்றோ? அவர் ஆற்றல்மிக்கவராயும் வலிமை வாய்ந்தவராயும் இருப்பதால் அவற்றில் ஒன்றேனும் குறைவதில்லை. "என் வழி ஆண்டவருக்கு மறைவாய் உள்ளது; என் நீதி என் கடவுளுக்குப் புலப்படவில்லை'' என்று யாக்கோபே, நீ சொல்வது ஏன்? இஸ்ரயேலே, நீ கூறுவது ஏன்? உனக்குத் தெரியாதா? நீ கேட்டதில்லையா? ஆண்டவரே என்றும் உள்ள கடவுள்; அவரே விண்ணுலகின் எல்லைகளைப் படைத்தவர்; அவர் சோர்ந்து போகார்; களைப்படையார்; அவரது அறிவை ஆய்ந்தறிய இயலாது. அவர் சோர்வுற்றவருக்கு வலிமை அளிக்கின்றார்; வலிமையிழந்தவரிடம் ஊக்கம் பெருகச் செய்கின்றார். இளைஞர் சோர்வுற்றுக் களைப்படைவர்; வாலிபர் நிலைதடுமாறி வீழ்வர். ஆண்டவர்மேல் நம்பிக்கை வைத்திருப்பவர்களோ புதிய ஆற்றல் பெறுவர். கழுகுகள்போல் இறக்கை விரித்து உயரே செல்வர்; அவர்கள் ஓடுவர்; களைப்படையார்; நடந்து செல்வர்; சோர்வடையார்.
