அக்காலத்தில்

இயேசு சதுசேயரை வாயடைக்கச் செய்தார் என்பதைக் கேள்விப்பட்ட பரிசேயர் ஒன்றுகூடி அவரிடம் வந்தனர். அவர்களிடையே இருந்த திருச்சட்ட அறிஞர் ஒருவர் அவரைச் சோதிக்கும் நோக்கத்துடன், “போதகரே, திருச்சட்ட நூலில் தலைசிறந்த கட்டளை எது?” என்று கேட்டார்.

அவர், “ ‘உன் முழு இதயத்தோடும், முழு உள்ளத்தோடும், முழு மனத்தோடும் உன் ஆண்டவராகிய கடவுளிடம் அன்பு செலுத்து.’ இதுவே தலைசிறந்த முதன்மையான கட்டளை. ‘உன்மீது நீ அன்பு கூர்வது போல உனக்கு அடுத்திருப்பவர்மீதும் அன்பு கூர்வாயாக’ என்பது இதற்கு இணையான இரண்டாவது கட்டளை. திருச்சட்ட நூல் முழுமைக்கும் இறைவாக்கு நூல்களுக்கும் இவ்விரு கட்டளைகளே அடிப்படையாக அமைகின்றன” என்று பதிலளித்தார்.

உலர்ந்த எலும்புகளே! ஆண்டவரின் வாக்கைக் கேளுங்கள். என் மக்களே! உங்களை உங்கள் கல்லறைகளினின்று மேலே கொண்டு வருவேன்.

அந்நாள்களில்

ஆண்டவரின் ஆற்றல் என் மீது இறங்கியது. அவர் என்னைத் தம் ஆவியால் தூக்கிக் கொண்டு போய்ப் பள்ளத்தாக்கின் நடுவில் நிறுத்தினார். அங்கே எலும்புகள் மிகுதியாய்க் கிடந்தன. அவர் அவற்றைச் சுற்றி என்னை நடத்திச் சென்றார். அங்கே பள்ளத்தாக்கின் அடியில் மிகப் பல எலும்புகள் கிடந்தன. அவை மிகவும் உலர்ந்தவையாய் இருந்தன.

அவர் என்னிடம், ‘மானிடா! இந்த எலும்புகள் உயிர் பெறமுடியுமா?’ என்று கேட்டார். நான், ‘தலைவராகிய ஆண்டவரே! உமக்குத் தெரியுமே’ என்று மறுமொழி அளித்தேன்.

அவர் என்னிடம் உரைத்தது: நீ இந்த எலும்புகளுக்கு இறைவாக்கு உரை. ‘உலர்ந்த எலும்புகளே! ஆண்டவரின் வாக்கைக் கேளுங்கள்’ என்று சொல். தலைவராகிய ஆண்டவர் இந்த எலும்புகளுக்கு இவ்வாறு கூறுகிறார்: நான் உங்களுக்குள் உயிர்மூச்சு புகச் செய்வேன். நீங்களும் உயிர் பெறுவீர்கள். நான் உங்களை நரம்புகளால் தொடுப்பேன்; உங்கள்மேல் சதையைப் பரப்புவேன். உங்களைத் தோலால் மூடுவேன். பின் உங்களுக்குள் உயிர்மூச்சு புகச் செய்வேன். நீங்களும் உயிர் பெறுவீர்கள். அப்போது நானே ஆண்டவர் என அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்.

எனவே, எனக்குக் கட்டளையிடப்பட்டபடி இறைவாக்கு உரைத்தேன். நான் இறைவாக்கு உரைக்கையில், உராயும் ஓசை கேட்டது. ஒவ்வொரு எலும்பும் தனக்குரிய எலும்புடன் சேர்ந்துகொண்டது. நான் பார்க்கையிலேயே அவற்றில் நரம்புகள் ஏற்பட்டு, சதை தோன்றித் தோல் அவற்றின்மேல் மூடியது. ஆனால் அவற்றில் உயிர் இன்னும் வரவில்லை.

பின்னர் அவர் என்னிடம், உயிர்மூச்சுக்கு இறைவாக்கு உரை: மானிடா! இறைவாக்கு உரைத்து, உயிர்மூச்சிடம் சொல். தலைவராகிய ஆண்டவர் கூறுவது இதுவே: நான்கு காற்றுகளிலிருந்தும் ‘உயிர்மூச்சே வா, நீ வந்து கொலையுண்ட இவர்களுக்குள் புகு. அப்பொழுது இவர்கள் உயிர் பெறுவர்.'

எனவே அவர் எனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டவாறு இறைவாக்கு உரைத்தேன். உடனே அவர்களுக்குள் உயிர்மூச்சு புகுந்தது. அவர்கள் உயிர்பெற்று, காலூன்றி, மாபெரும் படைத்திரள் போல் நின்றனர். அவர் மேலும் என்னிடம் கூறியது: மானிடா! இந்த எலும்புகள் இஸ்ரயேல் வீட்டார் அனைவரையும் குறிக்கும். அவர்களோ ‘எங்கள் எலும்புகள் உலர்ந்து போயின. எங்கள் நம்பிக்கை அற்றுப் போய்விட்டது. நாங்கள் துண்டிக்கப்பட்டு விட்டோம்’ எனச் சொல்கிறார்கள்.

எனவே, இறைவாக்கு உரைத்து அவர்களிடம் சொல்: தலைவராகிய ஆண்டவர் கூறுவது இதுவே: என் மக்களே! இதோ நான் உங்கள் கல்லறைகளைத் திறக்கப் போகிறேன். உங்களை உங்கள் கல்லறைகளினின்று மேலே கொண்டு வருவேன். உங்களுக்கு இஸ்ரயேல் நாட்டைத் திரும்பக் கொடுப்பேன். அப்போது, என் மக்களே! நான் உங்கள் கல்லறைகளைத் திறந்து உங்களை அவற்றிலிருந்து வெளிக் கொணர்கையில், நானே ஆண்டவர் என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்வீர்கள். என் ஆவியை உங்கள் மீது பொழிவேன். நீங்களும் உயிர் பெறுவீர்கள். நானும் உங்களை உங்கள் சொந்த நாட்டில் குடியமர்த்துவேன். ‘ஆண்டவராகிய நான் உரைத்தேன்; நானே இதைச் செய்தேன்’ என அப்போது அறிந்து கொள்வீர்கள், என்கிறார் தலைவராகிய ஆண்டவர்.

Again he sent other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner, my oxen and my fat calves have been slaughtered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding feast.” ’ But they paid no attention and went off, one to his farm, another to his business, while the rest seized his servants, treated them shamefully, and killed them. The king was angry, and he sent his troops and destroyed those murderers and burned their city. Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy. Go therefore to the main roads and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find.’ And those servants went out into the roads and gathered all whom they found, both bad and good. So the wedding hall was filled with guests. “But when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw there a man who had no wedding garment. And he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you get in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. Then the king said to the attendants, ‘Bind him hand and foot and cast him into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Thus says the Lord: I will vindicate the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. And the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Lord God, when through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes. I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries and bring you into your own land. I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you. And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules. You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers, and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.

அக்காலத்தில்

இயேசு மீண்டும் உவமைகள் வாயிலாகப் பேசியது: “விண்ணரசைப் பின்வரும் நிகழ்ச்சிக்கு ஒப்பிடலாம்: அரசர் ஒருவர் தம் மகனுக்குத் திருமணம் நடத்தினார். திருமணத்திற்கு அழைப்புப் பெற்றவர்களைக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு வருமாறு அவர் தம் பணியாளர்களை அனுப்பினார். அவர்களோ வர விரும்பவில்லை.

மீண்டும் அவர் வேறு பணியாளர்களிடம், ‘நான் விருந்து ஏற்பாடு செய்திருக்கிறேன். காளைகளையும் கொழுத்த கன்றுகளையும் அடித்துச் சமையல் எல்லாம் தயாராய் உள்ளது. திருமணத்திற்கு வாருங்கள்’ என அழைப்புப் பெற்றவர்களுக்குக் கூறுங்கள் என்று சொல்லி அனுப்பினார். அழைப்புப் பெற்றவர்களோ அதைப் பொருட்படுத்தவில்லை. ஒருவர் தம் வயலுக்குச் சென்றார்; வேறு ஒருவர் தம் கடைக்குச் சென்றார். மற்றவர்களோ அவருடைய பணியாளர்களைப் பிடித்து இழிவுபடுத்திக் கொலை செய்தார்கள்.

அப்பொழுது அரசர் சினமுற்றுத் தம் படையை அனுப்பி அக்கொலையாளிகளைக் கொன்றொழித்தார். அவர்களுடைய நகரத்தையும் தீக்கிரையாக்கினார்.

பின்னர் தம் பணியாளர்களிடம், ‘திருமண விருந்து ஏற்பாடாகி உள்ளது. அழைக்கப் பெற்றவர்களோ தகுதியற்றுப் போனார்கள். எனவே நீங்கள் போய்ச் சாலையோரங்களில் காணும் எல்லாரையும் திருமண விருந்துக்கு அழைத்து வாருங்கள்’ என்றார். அந்தப் பணியாளர்கள் வெளியே சென்று வழியில் கண்ட நல்லோர், தீயோர் யாவரையும் கூட்டி வந்தனர். திருமண மண்டபம் விருந்தினரால் நிரம்பியது. அரசர் விருந்தினரைப் பார்க்க வந்தபோது அங்கே திருமண ஆடை அணியாத ஒருவனைக் கண்டார்.

அரசர் அவனைப் பார்த்து, ‘தோழா, திருமண ஆடையின்றி எவ்வாறு உள்ளே வந்தாய்?’ என்று கேட்டார். அவனோ வாயடைத்து நின்றான். அப்போது அரசர் தம் பணியாளர்களிடம், ‘அவனுடைய காலையும் கையையும் கட்டிப் புறம்பே உள்ள இருளில் தள்ளுங்கள். அங்கே அழுகையும் அங்கலாய்ப்பும் இருக்கும்’ என்றார்.

இவ்வாறு அழைப்புப் பெற்றவர்கள் பலர், ஆனால் தெரிந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டவர்களோ சிலர்.”
