சாத்தானின் அழிவு.

✠ மாற்கு எழுதிய தூய நற்செய்தியிலிருந்து வாசகம் 3: 22-30

அக்காலத்தில்

எருசலேமிலிருந்து வந்திருந்த மறைநூல் அறிஞர், “இவனைப் பெயல்செபூல் பிடித்திருக்கிறது” என்றும் “பேய்களின் தலைவனைக் கொண்டே இவன் பேய்களை ஓட்டுகிறான்” என்றும் சொல்லிக் கொண்டிருந்தனர்.

ஆகவே இயேசு அவர்களைத் தம்மிடம் வரவழைத்து அவர்களுக்கு உவமைகள் வாயிலாகக் கூறியது: “சாத்தான் சாத்தானை எப்படி ஓட்ட முடியும்? தனக்கு எதிராகத் தானே பிளவுபடும் எந்த அரசும் நிலைத்து நிற்க முடியாது. தனக்கு எதிராகத் தானே பிளவுபடும் எந்த வீடும் நிலைத்து நிற்க முடியாது. சாத்தான் தன்னையே எதிர்த்து நின்று பிளவுபட்டுப் போனால் அவன் நிலைத்து நிற்க முடியாது. அதுவே அவனது அழிவு. முதலில் வலியவரைக் கட்டினாலன்றி அவ்வலியவருடைய வீட்டுக்குள் நுழைந்து அவருடைய பொருள்களை எவராலும் கொள்ளையிட முடியாது; அவரைக் கட்டி வைத்த பிறகுதான் அவருடைய வீட்டைக் கொள்ளையிட முடியும்.

உறுதியாக உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன். தூய ஆவியாரைப் பழித்து உரைப்பவர் எவரும் எக்காலத்திலும் மன்னிப்புப் பெறார்; அவர் என்றென்றும் தீராத பாவத்திற்கு ஆளாவார். ஆனால் மக்களுடைய மற்றப் பாவங்கள், அவர்கள் கூறும் பழிப்புரைகள் அனைத்தும் அவர்களுக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படும்.” ‘இவனைத் தீய ஆவி பிடித்திருக்கிறது’ என்று தம்மைப்பற்றி அவர்கள் சொல்லி வந்ததால் இயேசு இவ்வாறு கூறினார்.

பலரின் பாவங்களைப் போக்கும் பொருட்டு, ஒரே முறை தம்மைத்தாமே பலியாகக் கொடுத்த கிறிஸ்து, மீண்டும் ஒரு முறை தோன்றுவார்.

எபிரேயருக்கு எழுதப்பட்ட திருமுகத்திலிருந்து வாசகம் 9: 15, 24-28

சகோதரர் சகோதரிகளே,

இயேசு புதிய உடன்படிக்கையின் இணைப்பாளராய் இருக்கிறார். கடவுளால் அழைக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் அவரால் வாக்களிக்கப்பட்ட, என்றும் நிலைக்கும், உரிமைப் பேற்றைப் பெறுவதற்கென்று இந்த உடன்படிக்கை உண்டானது. இது ஒரு சாவின்மூலம் ஏற்படுத்தப்பட்டது. இந்தச் சாவு முந்திய உடன்படிக்கையை மீறிச் செய்த குற்றங்களிலிருந்து மீட்பு அளிக்கிறது. அதனால்தான் கிறிஸ்து மனிதரின் கையால் அமைக்கப்பட்டதும் உண்மையான தூயகத்திற்கு முன்னடையாளமாய் இருப்பதுமான இவ்வுலகத் தூயகத்திற்குள் நுழையாமல் விண்ணுலகிற்குள்ளேயே நுழைந்திருக்கிறார். அங்கே இப்போது நம் சார்பாகக் கடவுளின் திருமுன் நிற்கிறார். தலைமைக் குரு விலங்குகளின் இரத்தத்துடன் ஆண்டுதோறும் தூயகத்திற்குள் செல்வார். அதற்கு மாறாக, கிறிஸ்து தம்மையே ஒரே முறை பலியாகக் கொடுத்தார். அதை மீண்டும் மீண்டும் செய்யவில்லை. அவ்வாறு செய்திருப்பாரென்றால், உலகம் தோன்றிய காலந்தொட்டு, அவர் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் துன்புற்றிருக்கவேண்டும். அதற்கு மாறாக, உலகம் முடியும் காலமான இப்போது தம்மையே பலியாகக் கொடுத்து, பாவங்களைப் போக்குவதற்காக ஒரே முறை உலகில் வெளிப்படுத்தப்பட்டார்.

மனிதர் ஒரே முறை சாவுக்கு உட்படுகின்றனர். பின்னர் இறுதித் தீர்ப்பு வருகிறது. இதுவே அவர்களுக்கென உள்ள நியதி. அவ்வாறே, கிறிஸ்துவும் பலரின் பாவங்களைப் போக்கும் பொருட்டு ஒரே முறை தம்மைத்தாமே பலியாகக் கொடுத்தார். அவர் மீண்டும் ஒரு முறை தோன்றுவார். ஆனால், பாவத்தின் பொருட்டு அல்ல, தமக்காகக் காத்திருப்பவர்களுக்கு மீட்பு அருளும் பொருட்டே தோன்றுவார்.

A kingdom divided against itself cannot stand

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to St.Mark 3:22-30 

The scribes who had come down from Jerusalem were saying, ‘Beelzebul is in him’ and, ‘It is through the prince of devils that he casts devils out.’ So he called them to him and spoke to them in parables, ‘How can Satan cast out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot last. And if a household is divided against itself, that household can never stand. Now if Satan has rebelled against himself and is divided, he cannot stand either – it is the end of him. But no one can make his way into a strong man’s house and burgle his property unless he has tied up the strong man first. Only then can he burgle his house.

  ‘I tell you solemnly, all men’s sins will be forgiven, and all their blasphemies; but let anyone blaspheme against the Holy Spirit and he will never have forgiveness: he is guilty of an eternal sin.’ This was because they were saying, ‘An unclean spirit is in him.’

Christ offers himself only once to take on the faults of many

Hebrews 9:15, 24-28 

Christ brings a new covenant, as the mediator, only so that the people who were called to an eternal inheritance may actually receive what was promised: his death took place to cancel the sins that infringed the earlier covenant. It is not as though Christ had entered a man-made sanctuary which was only modelled on the real one; but it was heaven itself, so that he could appear in the actual presence of God on our behalf. And he does not have to offer himself again and again, like the high priest going into the sanctuary year after year with the blood that is not his own, or else he would have had to suffer over and over again since the world began. Instead of that, he has made his appearance once and for all, now at the end of the last age, to do away with sin by sacrificing himself. Since men only die once, and after that comes judgement, so Christ, too, offers himself only once to take the faults of many on himself, and when he appears a second time, it will not be to deal with sin but to reward with salvation those who are waiting for him.
