நற்செய்தி வாசகம் 

ஓய்வு நாளில் எது செய்வது முறை? உயிரைக் காப்பதா, அழிப்பதா? 

மாற்கு எழுதிய நற்செய்தியிலிருந்து வாசகம் 3: 1-6 

இயேசு மீண்டும் தொழுகைக்கூடத்திற்குள் சென்றார். அங்கே கை சூம்பியவர் ஒருவர் இருந்தார். சிலர் இயேசுமீது குற்றம் சுமத்தும் நோக்குடன், ஓய்வுநாளில் அவர் அவரைக் குணப்படுத்துவாரா என்று கூர்ந்து கவனித்துக்கொண்டே இருந்தனர். இயேசு கை சூம்பியவரை நோக்கி, ``எழுந்து, நடுவே நில்லும்'' என்றார். பின்பு அவர்களிடம், ``ஓய்வு நாளில் நன்மை செய்வதா, தீமை செய்வதா? உயிரைக் காப்பதா, அழிப்பதா? எது முறை?'' என்று அவர் கேட்டார். அவர்களோ பேசாதிருந்தார்கள். அவர் சினத்துடன் அவர்களைச் சுற்றிலும் திரும்பிப் பார்த்து, அவர்களது பிடிவாத உள்ளத்தைக் கண்டு வருந்தி, கை சூம்பியவரை நோக்கி, ``கையை நீட்டும்'' என்றார். அவர் நீட்டினார். அவருடைய கை மீண்டும் நலமடைந்தது. உடனே பரிசேயர் வெளியேறி ஏரோதியரோடு சேர்ந்து இயேசுவை எப்படி ஒழிக்கலாம் என அவருக்கு எதிராகச் சூழ்ச்சி செய்தனர். 

இது கிறிஸ்து வழங்கும் நற்செய்தி.

1 ஆண்டவர் என் தலைவரிடம், `நான் உம் பகைவரை உமக்குக் கால்மணையாக்கும்வரை

நீர் என் வலப்பக்கம் வீற்றிரும்' என்று உரைத்தார்.

2 வலிமைமிகு உமது செங்கோலை ஆண்டவர் சீயோனிலிருந்து ஓங்கச் செய்வார்;

உம் எதிரிகளிடையே ஆட்சி செலுத்தும்! -பல்லவி 

3 நீர் உமது படைக்குத் தலைமை தாங்கும் நாளில் தூய கோலத்துடன் உம் மக்கள் தம்மை உவந்தளிப்பர்;

வைகறை கருவுயிர்த்த பனியைப்போல உம் இளம் வீரர் உம்மை வந்தடைவர். -பல்லவி 

4 `மெல்கிசெதேக்கின் முறைப்படி நீர் என்றென்றும் குருவே'

என்று ஆண்டவர் ஆணையிட்டுச் சொன்னார்;

அவர் தம் மனத்தை மாற்றிக்கொள்ளார். -பல்லவி

அல்லேலூயா, அல்லேலூயா! இயேசு விண்ணரசு பற்றிய நற்செய்தியைப் பறைசாற்றினார்; மக்களிடையே இருந்த நோய் நொடிகள் அனைத்தையும் குணமாக்கினார். அல்லேலூயா.

முதல் வாசகம் 

மெல்கிசதேக்கின் முறைப்படி நீர் என்றென்றும் குருவே. 

எபிரேயருக்கு எழுதப்பட்ட திருமுகத்திலிருந்து வாசகம் 7: 1-3, 15-17 

சகோதரர் சகோதரிகளே, மெல்கிசதேக்கு சாலேம் நகரின் அரசர்; உன்னத கடவுளின் குரு. ஆபிரகாம் அரசர்களை முறியடித்துத் திரும்பியபொழுது, அவரை எதிர்கொண்டு போய் அவருக்கு ஆசி அளித்தார். ஆபிரகாம் தம்மிடமிருந்த எல்லாவற்றில் இருந்தும் பத்தில் ஒரு பங்கை இவருக்குக் கொடுத்தார். நீதியின் அரசர் என்பது இவர் பெயரின் முதற்பொருள். மேலும், இவர் சாலேமின் அரசர். அமைதியின் அரசர் என்பது இதற்குப் பொருள். இவருக்குத் தந்தை இல்லை, தாய் இல்லை; தலைமுறை வரலாறு இல்லை; இவரது வாழ்நாளுக்குத் தொடக்கமும் இல்லை; முடிவும் இல்லை. இவர் கடவுளின் மகனுக்கு ஒப்பானவர்; குருவாக என்றும் நிலைத்திருப்பவர். மெல்கிசதேக்குக்கு ஒப்பான வேறொரு குரு தோன்றியிருப்பதால் நாம் மேற்கூறியது இன்னும் அதிகத் தெளிவாகிறது. இவர் திருச்சட்டத்தின் கட்டளைப்படி மனித இயல்புக்கு ஏற்ப அல்ல, அழியாத வாழ்வின் வல்லமையால் குருவாகத் தோன்றினார். இவரைப்பற்றி, ``மெல்கிசதேக்கின் முறைப்படி நீர் என்றென்றும் குருவே'' என்னும் சான்று உரைக்கப் பட்டுள்ளது. 

இது ஆண்டவர் வழங்கும் அருள்வாக்கு.

“Is it lawful on the Sabbath to save life or kill? " 

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Mark (3, 1-6) 

At that time Jesus entered a synagogue again; there was a man there whose hand was withered. Jesus was being watched to see if he would heal him on the Sabbath day. It was in order to be able to accuse him. He said to the man with the withered hand, “Get up, come in the middle. And addressing others: "Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil?" to save a life or to kill? But they were silent. Then, gazing at them with anger, heartbroken at the hardening of their hearts, he said to the man: “Stretch out your hand. He stretched it out, and his hand went back to normal.

When they left, the Pharisees met in council with Herod's followers against Jesus, to see how to destroy him.

" You are a priest forever

after the order of King Melkizedek. "R

FIRST READING 

"You are a priest of the order of Melkizedek for eternity" 

the letter to the Hebrews (7, 1-3.15-17) 

Brethren, Melkizedek was king of Salem, priest of the Most High God; he came to meet Abraham when he was returning from his expedition against kings; he blessed him, and Abraham gave him the tenth of all that he had taken. First, Melkizedek has a name which means "king of righteousness"; then, he is king of Salem, that is to say king of "peace", and about him there is no mention of father or mother, nor ancestors, nor of a beginning of existence nor of 'end of life; this makes him resemble the Son of God: he remains a priest forever.

Things are even much clearer if another priest rises in the likeness of Melkizedek and becomes a priest, not by a legal requirement of human descent, but by the power of an indestructible life. For this is the testimony of the Scriptures: You are a priest of the order of Melkizedek for all eternity.
