Then the deportation to Babylon took place. After the deportation to Babylon: Jechoniah fathered Shealtiel, Shealtiel fathered Zerubbabel, Zerubbabel fathered Abiud, Abiud fathered Eliakim, Eliakim fathered Azor, Azor fathered Zadok, Zadok fathered Achim, Achim fathered Eliud, Eliud fathered Eleazar, Eleazar fathered Matthan, Matthan fathered Jacob; and Jacob fathered Joseph the husband of Mary; of her was born Jesus who is called Christ. The sum of generations is therefore: fourteen from Abraham to David; fourteen from David to the Babylonian deportation; and fourteen from the Babylonian deportation to Christ.```

8 His empire shall stretch from sea to sea, from the river to the limits of the earth. 

17 May his name be blessed for ever, and endure in the sight of the sun. In him shall be blessed every race in the world, and all nations call him blessed.

Gather round, sons of Jacob, and listen; listen to Israel your father. Judah, your brothers will praise you: you grip your enemies by the neck, your father's sons will do you homage. Judah is a lion's whelp; You stand over your prey, my son. Like a lion he crouches and lies down, a mighty lion: who dare rouse him? The sceptre shall not pass from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until tribute be brought him and the peoples render him obedience.

தாவீதின் மகனும் ஆபிரகாமின் மகனுமான இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் மூதாதையர் பட்டியல்: 

ஆபிரகாமின் மகன் ஈசாக்கு; ஈசாக்கின் மகன் யாக்கோபு; யாக்கோபின் புதல்வர்கள் யூதாவும் அவர் சகோதரர்களும். யூதாவுக்கும் தாமாருக்கும் பிறந்த புதல்வர்கள் பெரேட்சும் செராகும்; பெரேட்சின் மகன் எட்சரோன்; எட்சரோனின் மகன் இராம். இராமின் மகன் அம்மினதாபு; அம்மினதாபின் மகன் நகசோன்; நகசோனின் மகன் சல்மோன். சல்மோனுக்கும் இராகாபுக்கும் பிறந்த மகன் போவாசு; போவாசுக்கும் ரூத்துக்கும் பிறந்த மகன் ஓபேது; ஓபேதின் மகன் ஈசாய். ஈசாயின் மகன் தாவீது அரசர். தாவீதுக்கு உரியாவின் மனைவியிடம் பிறந்த மகன் சாலமோன். சாலமோனின் மகன் ரெகபயாம்; ரெகபயாமின் மகன் அபியாம்; அபியாமின் மகன் ஆசா. ஆசாவின் மகன் யோசபாத்து; யோசபாத்தின் மகன் யோராம்; யோராமின் மகன் உசியா. உசியாவின் மகன் யோத்தாம்; யோத்தாமின் மகன் ஆகாசு; ஆகாசின் மகன் எசேக்கியா. எசேக்கியாவின் மகன் மனாசே; மனாசேயின் மகன் ஆமோன்; ஆமோனின் மகன் யோசியா. யோசியாவின் புதல்வர்கள் எக்கோனியாவும் அவர் சகோதரர்களும். இவர்கள் காலத்தில்தான் யூதர்கள் பாபிலோனுக்குச் சிறைப்பிடித்துச் செல்லப்பட்டார்கள். 

பாபிலோனுக்குச் சிறைப்பிடித்துச் செல்லப்பட்ட பின்பு எக்கோனியாவுக்குப் பிறந்த மகன் செயல்தியேல்; செயல்தியேலின் மகன் செருபாபேல். செருபாபேலின் மகன் அபியூது; அபியூதின் மகன் எலியாக்கிம்; எலியாக்கிமின் மகன் அசோர். அசோரின் மகன் சாதோக்கு; சாதோக்கின் மகன் ஆக்கிம்; ஆக்கிமின் மகன் எலியூது. எலியூதின் மகன் எலயாசர்; எலயாசரின் மகன் மாத்தான்; மாத்தானின் மகன் யாக்கோபு. யாக்கோபின் மகன் மரியாவின் கணவர் யோசேப்பு. மரியாவிடம் பிறந்தவரே கிறிஸ்து என்னும் இயேசு. 

ஆக மொத்தம் ஆபிரகாம் முதல் தாவீதுவரை தலைமுறைகள் பதினான்கு; தாவீது முதல் பாபிலோனுக்குச் சிறைப்பிடித்துச் செல்லப்பட்டவர்கள் வரை தலைமுறைகள் பதினான்கு; பாபிலோனுக்குச் சிறைப்பிடித்துச் செல்லப்பட்டவர்கள் முதல் கிறிஸ்துவரை தலைமுறைகள் பதினான்கு.

_🙏🏻பல்லவி: ஆண்டவருடைய சமாதானம் என்றென்றும் நிலவுவதாக._ 

1 கடவுளே, அரசருக்கு உமது நீதித்தீர்ப்பை வழங்கும் ஆற்றலை அளியும்;

அரச மைந்தரிடம் உமது நீதி விளங்கச் செய்யும்.

2 அவர் உம் மக்களை நீதியோடு ஆள்வாராக!

உம்முடையவரான எளியோர்க்கு நீதித்தீர்ப்பு வழங்குவாராக! -பல்லவி 

3 மலைகள் மக்களுக்குச் சமாதானத்தைக் கொடுக்கட்டும்;

குன்றுகள் நீதியை விளைவிக்கட்டும்.

4 எளியோரின் மக்களுக்கு அவர் நீதி வழங்குவாராக!

ஏழைகளின் பிள்ளைகளைக் காப்பாராக. -பல்லவி 

7 அவர் காலத்தில் நீதி தழைத்தோங்குவதாக;

நிலா உள்ள வரையில் மிகுந்த சமாதானம் நிலவுவதாக.

8 ஒரு கடலிலிருந்து அடுத்த கடல்வரைக்கும் அவர் ஆட்சி செலுத்துவார்;

பேராற்றிலிருந்து உலகின் எல்லை வரைக்கும் அவர் அரசாள்வார். பல்லவி 

17 அவர் பெயர் என்றென்றும் நிலைத்திருப்பதாக!

கதிரவன் உள்ளவரையில் அவர் பெயர் நிலைப்பதாக!

அவர் மூலம் மனிதர் ஆசிபெற விழைவராக!

எல்லா நாட்டினரும் அவரை நற்பேறு பெற்றவரென வாழ்த்துவராக! பல்லவி

_அல்லேலூயா, அல்லேலூயா! உன்னதரின் ஞானமே, ஆற்றலுடன் அனைத்தையும் அன்பாய் நடத்துகின்றவரே, எங்களுக்கு உண்மையின் வழி காட்ட வந்தருளும். அல்லேலூயா. இவ்வாறு ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் தரப்பட்டிருக்கும் அல்லேலூயா_

யாக்கோபு தம் புதல்வர்களை வரவழைத்துக் கூறியது: என்னைச் சுற்றி நில்லுங்கள். வரவிருக்கும் நாள்களில் உங்களுக்கு நிகழ இருப்பதை நான் அறிவிக்கப்போகிறேன். கூடிவந்து உற்றுக்கேளுங்கள்; யாக்கோபின் புதல்வர்களே! உங்கள் தந்தையாகிய இஸ்ரயேலுக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள். யூதா! உன் உடன்பிறந்தோர் உன்னைப் புகழ்வர். உன் கை உன் எதிரிகளின் கழுத்தில் இருக்கும். உன் தந்தையின் புதல்வர் உன்னை வணங்குவர். யூதா! நீ ஒரு சிங்கக்குட்டி, என் மகனே, இரை கவர்ந்து வந்துள்ளாய்! ஆண் சிங்கமென, பெண் சிங்கமென அவன் கால் மடக்கிப் படுப்பான்; அவன் துயில் கலைக்கத் துணிந்தவன் எவன்? அரசுரிமை உடையவர் வரும்வரையில், மக்களினங்கள் அவருக்குப் பணிந்திடும் வரையில், யூதாவைவிட்டுச் செங்கோல் நீங்காது; அவன் மரபைவிட்டுக் கொற்றம் மறையாது.
