என்னோடு இராதவர் எனக்கு எதிராக இருக்கிறார்.

லூக்கா எழுதிய நற்செய்தியிலிருந்து வாசகம் 11: 14-23

ஒரு நாள் இயேசு பேச்சிழந்த ஒருவரிடமிருந்து பேயை ஓட்டினார். பேய் வெளியேறவே, பேச்சற்ற அவர் பேசினார். கூட்டத்தினர் வியந்து நின்றனர். அவர்களுள் சிலர், “பேய்களின் தலைவனாகிய பெயல்செபூலைக் கொண்டே இவன் பேய்களை ஓட்டுகிறான்” என்றனர். வேறு சிலர் அவரைச் சோதிக்கும் நோக்குடன், வானத்திலிருந்து ஏதேனும் ஓர் அடையாளம் காட்டுமாறு அவரிடம் கேட்டனர்.

இயேசு அவர்களுடைய சிந்தனைகளை அறிந்து, அவர்களிடம் கூறியது: தனக்கு எதிராகத் தானே பிளவுபடும் எந்த அரசும் பாழாய்ப்போகும். அவ்வாறே பிளவுபடும் வீடும் விழுந்துவிடும். சாத்தானும் தனக்கு எதிராகத் தானே பிளவுபட்டுப் போனால் அவனது அரசு எப்படி நிலைத்து நிற்கும்? பெயல்செபூலைக் கொண்டு நான் பேய்களை ஓட்டுகிறேன் என்கிறீர்களே. நான் பெயல்செபூலைக் கொண்டு பேய்களை ஓட்டுகிறேன் என்றால் உங்களைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் யாரைக் கொண்டு பேய் ஓட்டுகிறார்கள்? ஆகவே அவர்களே உங்கள் கூற்று தவறு என்பதற்குச் சாட்சிகள்.

நான் கடவுளின் ஆற்றலால் பேய்களை ஓட்டுகிறேன் என்றால் இறையாட்சி உங்களிடம் வந்துள்ளது அல்லவா! வலியவர் ஆயுதம் தாங்கித் தம் அரண்மனையைக் காக்கிறபோது அவருடைய உடைமைகள் பாதுகாப்பாக இருக்கும். அவரைவிட மிகுந்த வலிமையுடையவர் ஒருவர் வந்து அவரை வென்றால் அவர் நம்பியிருந்த எல்லாப் படைக்கலங்களையும் பறித்துக்கொண்டு, கொள்ளைப் பொருளையும் பங்கிடுவார்.

என்னோடு இராதவர் எனக்கு எதிராக இருக்கிறார்; என்னோடு இணைந்து மக்களைக் கூட்டிச் சேர்க்காதவர் அவர்களைச் சிதறடிக்கிறார்.

ஆண்டவர் கூறியது:

நான் இஸ்ரயேலுக்குக் கொடுத்த கட்டளை இதுவே: என் குரலுக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள். அப்போது நான் உங்களுக்குக் கடவுளாய் இருப்பேன். நீங்கள் எனக்கு மக்களாய் இருப்பீர்கள். நான் கட்டளையிட்ட நெறிகள் அனைத்தையும் கடைப்பிடியுங்கள். அது உங்களுக்கு நலம் பயக்கும்.

அவர்களோ செவிசாய்க்கவும் இல்லை; கவனிக்கவும் இல்லை. பிடிவாத குணமுடைய அவர்களின் தீய உள்ளத்தின் திட்டப்படி நடந்தார்கள்; முன்னோக்கிச் செல்வதற்குப் பதில் பின்னோக்கிச் சென்றார்கள். உங்கள் மூதாதையர் எகிப்து நாட்டிலிருந்து வெளியேறிய நாளிலிருந்து இன்றுவரை ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் தொடர்ந்து என் ஊழியர்களாகிய இறைவாக்கினர்களை உங்களிடம் அனுப்பியுள்ளேன். அவர்களோ எனக்குச் செவிசாய்க்கவில்லை; கவனிக்கவில்லை; முரட்டுப் பிடிவாதம் கொண்டு தங்கள் மூதாதையரைவிட அதிகத் தீச்செயல் செய்தனர்.

நீ அவர்களிடம் இச்சொற்களை எல்லாம் கூறுவாய்; அவர்களோ உனக்குச் செவிசாய்க்க மாட்டார்கள். நீ அவர்களை அழைப்பாய்; அவர்களோ உனக்குப் பதில் தரமாட்டார்கள். தங்களின் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவரின் குரலைக் கேளாத, அவர் தண்டித்தும் திருந்தாத இனம் இதுவே, என அவர்களிடம் சொல். உண்மை அழிந்து போயிற்று. அது அவர்கள் வாயிலிருந்து அகன்று போயிற்று.

A Reading From The Holy Gospel According To Luke (11, 14-23) 

At that time, Jesus was casting out a demon that made a man dumb. When the demon was out, the mute began to speak, and the crowds were in awe. But some of them said: "It is by Beelzebub, the leader of the demons, that he expels the demons. Others, in order to test him, sought to obtain a sign from him from heaven. Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself becomes desert, its houses crumble on top of each other. If Satan, too, is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? You say indeed that it is by Béelzéboul that I expel the demons. "This is the nation that did not listen to the voice of the Lord his God" 

Reading from the book of the prophet Jeremiah (7, 23-28) 

Thus says the Lord: This is the command I gave to your fathers: “Hear my voice, I will be your God, and you will be my people; you will follow all the paths that I have prescribed for you, so that you may be happy. But they did not listen, they did not listen, they followed the evil inclinations of their hardened hearts; they turned their backs and not their faces. From the day that your fathers left the land of Egypt until this day, I have tirelessly sent all my servants the prophets to you. But they didn't listen to me, they didn't listen, they stiffened their necks, they were worse than their fathers. You will say all these words to them, and they will not listen to you.
