14 பிப்ரவரி 2021, பொதுக்காலம் 6ஆம் வாரம் - ஞாயிறு 

நற்செய்தி வாசகம் 

தொழுநோய் அவரை விட்டு நீங்க, அவர் நலமடைந்தார். 

மாற்கு எழுதிய நற்செய்தியிலிருந்து வாசகம் 1: 40-45 

ஒரு நாள் தொழுநோயாளர் ஒருவர் இயேசுவிடம் வந்து, ``நீர் விரும்பினால் எனது நோயை நீக்க உம்மால் முடியும்'' என்று முழந்தாள்படியிட்டு வேண்டினார். இயேசு அவர்மீது பரிவுகொண்டு தமது கையை நீட்டி அவரைத் தொட்டு அவரிடம், ``நான் விரும்புகிறேன், உமது நோய் நீங்குக!'' என்றார். உடனே தொழுநோய் அவரை விட்டு நீங்க, அவர் நலமடைந்தார். பிறகு அவரிடம், ``இதை யாருக்கும் சொல்ல வேண்டாம், கவனமாய் இரும். ஆனால் நீர் போய் உம்மைக் குருவிடம் காட்டி, நோய் நீங்கியதற்காக மோசே கட்டளையிட்டுள்ள காணிக்கையைச் செலுத்தும். நீர் நலமடைந்துள்ளீர் என்பதற்கு அது சான்றாகும்'' என்று மிகக் கண்டிப்பாகக் கூறி உடனடியாக அவரை அனுப்பி விட்டார். ஆனால் அவர் புறப்பட்டுச் சென்று இந்தச் செய்தியை எங்கும் அறிவித்துப் பரப்பிவந்தார். அதனால் இயேசு எந்த நகருக்குள்ளும் வெளிப்படையாய்ச் செல்ல முடியவில்லை; வெளியே தனிமையான இடங்களில் தங்கி வந்தார். எனினும் மக்கள் எல்லா இடங்களிலிருந்தும் அவரிடம் வந்து கொண்டிருந்தார்கள். 

இது கிறிஸ்து வழங்கும் நற்செய்தி.

சகோதரர் சகோதரிகளே,

நீங்கள் உண்டாலும் குடித்தாலும் எதைச் செய்தாலும், எல்லாவற்றையும் கடவுளுடைய மாட்சிக்காகவே செய்யுங்கள். யூதருக்கோ கிரேக்கருக்கோ கடவுளின் திருச்சபைக்கோ இடையூறாய் இராதீர்கள். நானும் அனைத்திலும், அனைவருக்கும் உகந்தவனாய் இருக்கிறேன். நான் எனக்குப் பயன் தருவதை நாடாமல், பலரும் மீட்படையும்படி அவர்களுக்குப் பயன் தருவதையே நாடுகிறேன்.

நான் கிறிஸ்துவைப்போல் நடப்பதுபோன்று நீங்களும் என்னைப்போல் நடங்கள்.

ஆண்டவர் மோசேயிடமும் ஆரோனிடமும் உரைத்தது: “ஒருவர் உடலில் தோல்மீது தொழுநோய் போன்று, ஏதேனும் தடிப்போ, சொறி சிரங்கோ, வெண்படலமோ தோன்ற, அது தொழுநோயென ஐயமுற்றால், அவர் குருவாகிய ஆரோனிடம் அல்லது குருக்களாகிய அவர் புதல்வரில் ஒருவரிடம் கொண்டுவரப்பட வேண்டும்.

📖GOSPEL 

"The leprosy left him and he was purified" 

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to  Mark (1, 40-45) 

At that time a leper came to Jesus; he begged him and, falling to his knees, said to him: "If you want, you can purify me." "Seized with compassion, Jesus stretched out his hand, touched him and said to him:" I want to be cleansed. Instantly, the leprosy left him and he was cleansed. With firmness, Jesus immediately sent him away, saying to him: "Be careful, do not say anything to anyone, but go and show yourself to the priest, and give for your purification what Moses prescribed in the Law: this will be a testimony for the people. After he left, this man proceeded to proclaim and spread the news, so that Jesus could no longer openly enter a city, but stayed away, in deserted places. From everywhere, however, people came to him.

Brethren, whatever you do, eat, drink, or whatever, do it for the glory of God. Do not be an obstacle to anyone, not to Jews, not to Gentiles, not to the Church of God. So, myself, in all circumstances, I try to adapt myself to everyone, without seeking my personal interest, but that of the multitude of men, so that they are saved. Imitate me, as I also imitate Christ.

"The leper will live apart, his dwelling will be outside the camp" 

from the book of Levites (13, 1-2.45-46) 

The Lord spoke to Moses and his brother Aaron, and said to them, "When a man has a tumor, inflammation or pustule on his skin, which is a stain of leprosy, it will be brought to the priest Aaron or to the one of the priests his sons. The leper with a stain will wear torn clothes and messy hair, cover his upper face up to the lips, and cry, “Unclean! Impure! ” As long as he keeps this stain, he will be really unclean. That is why he will live apart, his dwelling will be outside the camp. "
