SECOND READING
"He chose us, in Christ, before the foundation of the world"
Reading from the letter of Saint Paul the apostle to the Ephesians (1, 3-14)
Blessed be God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! He has blessed and showered us with the blessings of the Spirit in heaven in Christ; He has chosen us in Christ before the foundation of the world, to be holy, spotless before Him, in love. He predestined us to be adopted sons to him by Jesus the Christ. Thus willed his goodness, to the glorious praise of his grace, the grace which he gives us in the beloved Son. In him, through his blood, we have redemption, the forgiveness of our sins. It is the richness of grace that God has made to overflow to us in all wisdom and understanding. He thus reveals to us the mystery of his will, as his goodness foresaw it in Christ: to bring times to their fullness, to recapitulate all things in Christ, those of heaven and those of earth. In him, we have become the particular domain of God, we have been predestined there according to the plan of the one who achieves all that he has decided: he wanted us to live to the praise of his glory, we who have to advance hoped for in Christ; in him you also, after having heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and having believed in it, you have received the mark of the Holy Spirit. And the Spirit promised by God is a first advance on our inheritance, in view of the redemption that we will obtain, to the praise of his glory. after hearing and believing the word of truth, the Gospel of your salvation, you have received the mark of the Holy Spirit. And the Spirit promised by God is a first advance on our inheritance, in view of the redemption that we will obtain, to the praise of his glory. after hearing and believing the word of truth, the Gospel of your salvation, you have received the mark of the Holy Spirit. And the Spirit promised by God is a first advance on our inheritance, in view of the redemption that we will obtain, to the praise of his glory.

🌿Greetings before the gospel
Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
May the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ open the eyes of our hearts to his light,
so that we may perceive the hope that his call gives.
Hallelujah . (cf. Eph 1, 17-18)
