நற்செய்தி வாசகம் 

இயேசு பன்னிருவரையும் அனுப்பினார். 

மாற்கு எழுதிய நற்செய்தியிலிருந்து வாசகம் 6: 7-13 

அக்காலத்தில் இயேசு பன்னிருவரையும் தம்மிடம் வரவழைத்து, அவர்களை இருவர் இருவராக அனுப்பத் தொடங்கினார். அவர்களுக்குத் தீய ஆவிகள் மீது அதிகாரமும் அளித்தார். மேலும், ``பயணத்திற்குக் கைத்தடி தவிர உணவு, பை, இடைக்கச்சையில் செப்புக் காசு முதலிய வேறு எதையும் நீங்கள் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு போக வேண்டாம். ஆனால் மிதியடி போட்டுக்கொள்ளலாம்; அணிந்திருக்கும் அங்கி ஒன்றே போதும்'' என்று அவர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டார். மேலும் அவர், ``நீங்கள் எங்கேயாவது ஒரு வீட்டுக்குள் சென்றால், அங்கிருந்து புறப்படும்வரை அவ்வீட்டிலேயே தங்கியிருங்கள். உங்களை எந்த ஊராவது ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாமலோ உங்களுக்குச் செவிசாய்க்காமலோ போனால் அங்கிருந்து வெளியேறும்பொழுது, உங்கள் கால்களில் படிந்துள்ள தூசியை உதறிவிடுங்கள். இதுவே அவர்களுக்கு எதிரான சான்றாகும்'' என்று அவர்களுக்குக் கூறினார். அப்படியே அவர்கள் புறப்பட்டுச் சென்று மக்கள் மனம் மாறவேண்டும் என்று பறைசாற்றினார்கள்; பல பேய்களை ஓட்டினார்கள்; உடல் நலமற்றோர் பலரை எண்ணெய் பூசிக் குணப்படுத்தினார்கள். 

இது கிறிஸ்து வழங்கும் நற்செய்தி.

பல்லவி: உமது கோவிலில் ஆண்டவரே, உம் பேரன்பை நினைந்து உருகினோம். 

1 ஆண்டவர் மாண்பு மிக்கவர்; நம் கடவுளின் நகரில், அவரது திருமலையில் மிகுந்த புகழுக்கு உரியவர்.

2ய தொலை வடக்கில் திகழும் சீயோன் மலை அனைத்து உலகிற்கும் மகிழ்ச்சியாய் இலங்குகின்றது. -பல்லவி 

2b மாவேந்தரின் நகரும் அதுவே.

3 அதன் அரண்மனைகளில் கடவுள் வீற்றிருந்து,

தம்மையே அதன் கோட்டை எனக் காட்டியுள்ளார். -பல்லவி 

8 கேள்விப்பட்டவாறே நேரில் யாம் கண்டோம்;

படைகளின் ஆண்டவரது நகரில், ஆம், கடவுளின் நகரினில் கண்டோம்;

கடவுள் அந்நகரை எந்நாளும் நிலைத்திருக்கச் செய்வார். -பல்லவி 

9 கடவுளே! உமது கோவிலின் நடுவில் உம் பேரன்பை நினைந்து உருகினோம்.

10 கடவுளே! உமது பெயரைப்போலவே, உமது புகழும் பூவுலகின் கடை எல்லை வரை எட்டுகின்றது;

உமது வலக்கை நீதியை நிலை நாட்டுகின்றது. -பல்லவி

அல்லேலூயா, அல்லேலூயா! காலம் நிறைவேறிவிட்டது. இறையாட்சி நெருங்கி வந்துவிட்டது; மனம் மாறி நற்செய்தியை நம்புங்கள். அல்லேலூயா.

முதல் வாசகம் 

நீங்கள் வந்திருப்பதோ சீயோன் மலை, வாழும் கடவுளின் நகர். 

எபிரேயருக்கு எழுதப்பட்ட திருமுகத்திலிருந்து வாசகம் 12: 18-19,21-24 

சகோதரர் சகோதரிகளே, நீங்கள் வந்து சேர்ந்திருப்பது தொட்டு உணரக்கூடிய, தீப்பற்றி எரிகின்ற, இருள் சூழ்ந்த, மந்தாரமான, சுழல் காற்று வீசுகின்ற சீனாய் மலை அல்ல. அங்கு எக்காளம் முழங்கிற்று; பேசும் குரலொன்று கேட்டது. அக்குரலைக் கேட்டவர்கள் அதற்குமேல் தங்களோடு அது ஒரு வார்த்தை கூடப் பேசவேண்டாம் என்று கேட்டுக்கொண்டார்கள். ``நான் அஞ்சி நடுங்குகிறேன்'' என்று மோசேயே சொல்லும் அளவுக்கு அக்காட்சி அச்சம் விளைவித்தது. ஆனால் நீங்கள் வந்து சேர்ந்திருக்கும் சீயோன் மலை, வாழும் கடவுளின் நகர்; விண்ணக எருசலேம். அதனைப் பல்லாயிரக்கணக்கான வானதூதர் சூழ்ந்துள்ளனர். விண்ணகத்தில் பெயர் எழுதப்பட்டுள்ள தலைப் பேறானவர்களின் திருச்சபை விழாக் கூட்டமென அங்கே கூடியுள்ளது. நிறைவு பெற்ற நேர்மையாளர்களோடு சேர்ந்து, அனைவருக்கும் நடுவரான கடவுள் முன்னிலையிலும், புதியதோர் உடன்படிக்கையின் இணைப்பாளராகிய இயேசுவின் முன்னிலையிலும் நிற்கிறீர்கள். ஆபேலின் இரத்தத்தைப் போலன்றிச் சிறந்த முறையில் குரலெழுப்பும் இயேசுவின் இரத்தத்தினால் தெளிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறீர்கள். 

இது ஆண்டவர் வழங்கும் அருள்வாக்கு.

"He began to send them on a mission" 

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Mark (6, 7-13) 

At that time Jesus called the Twelve; so he began to send them on a mission two by two. He gave them authority over unclean spirits, and he commanded them to take nothing for the journey, but only a staff; no bread, no bag, no coins in their belt. “Put on sandals, don't take a spare tunic. He would say to them again: "When you have found hospitality in a house, stay there until you leave. If, in a locality, people refuse to welcome you and listen to you, go away and shake the dust off your feet: it will be a testimony to them. "

They left, and proclaimed the need to convert. They expelled many demons, anointed many sick people with oil, and healed them.

Mount Zion is the pole of the world,

the city of the great king;

God reveals himself, in his palaces, a

true citadel. R 

We had heard it, we saw it

in the city of the Lord, God of the universe,

in the city of God our God,

who will establish it forever. R 

God, we relive your love

in the midst of your temple.

Your praise, like your name,

covers the expanse of the earth. R

FIRST READING 

"You have come to mount Zion and to the city of the living God" 

the letter to the Hebrews (12, 18-19.21-24) 

Brethren, when you came to God, you did not come to a palpable reality, set ablaze with fire, like Mount Sinai: no gloom, darkness or hurricane, no sound of trumpets or words uttered by that voice which the children of Israel asked not to hear any more. The sight was so frightening that Moses said: I am afraid and trembling.

But you have come to mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to myriads of celebrating angels, and to the assembly of the firstborn whose names are written in the heavens. You have come to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous brought to perfection. You have come to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, his blood which speaks louder than that of Abel.
