நான் கனிவும் மனத்தாழ்மையும் உடையவன்.

அக்காலத்தில்

இயேசு கூறியது: “பெருஞ்சுமை சுமந்து சோர்ந்திருப்பவர்களே, எல்லாரும் என்னிடம் வாருங்கள். நான் உங்களுக்கு இளைப்பாறுதல் தருவேன். நான் கனிவும் மனத் தாழ்மையும் உடையவன். ஆகவே என் நுகத்தை உங்கள்மேல் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு என்னிடம் கற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள். அப்பொழுது உங்கள் உள்ளத்திற்கு இளைப்பாறுதல் கிடைக்கும். ஆம், என் நுகம் அழுத்தாது; என் சுமை எளிதாயுள்ளது” என்றார்.

ஆண்டவருக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துங்கள்! அவர்தம் பெயரைச் சொல்லி வழிபடுங்கள்! அவர்தம் செயல்களை மக்களினங்கள் அறியச் செய்யுங்கள்.

அவர் செய்த வியத்தகு செயல்களை நினைவுகூருங்கள்! அவர்தம் அருஞ்செயல்களையும், அவரது வாய் மொழிந்த நீதித் தீர்ப்புகளையும் நினைவில் கொள்ளுங்கள். - பல்லவி

அவர் தமது உடன்படிக்கையை என்றென்றும் நினைவில் கொள்கின்றார்; ஆயிரம் தலைமுறைக்கென தாம் அளித்த வாக்குறுதியை நினைவுகூர்கின்றார்.

ஆபிரகாமுடன் தாம் செய்துகொண்ட உடன்படிக்கையையும் ஈசாக்குக்குத் தாம் ஆணையிட்டுக் கூறியதையும் அவர் நினைவில் கொண்டுள்ளார். - பல்லவி

ஆண்டவர் தம் மக்களைப் பல்கிப் பெருகச் செய்தார்; அவர்களின் எதிரிகளைவிட அவர்களை வலிமைமிக்கவர்கள் ஆக்கினார்.

தம் மக்களை வெறுக்கும்படியும், தம் அடியார்களுக்கு எதிராகச் சூழ்ச்சி செய்யும்படியும் அவர் எகிப்தியரின் மனத்தை மாற்றினார். - பல்லவி

அவர் தம் ஊழியராகிய மோசேயையும், தாம் தேர்ந்தெடுத்த ஆரோனையும் அனுப்பினார்.

அவர்கள் எகிப்தியரிடையே அவர்தம் அருஞ்செயல்களைச் செய்தனர்; காம் நாட்டில் வியத்தகு செயல்களைச் செய்து காட்டினர். - பல்லவி

அல்லேலூயா, அல்லேலூயா!

 பெருஞ்சுமை சுமந்து சோர்ந்திருப்பவர்களே, எல்லாரும் என்னிடம் வாருங்கள், நான் உங்களுக்கு இளைப்பாறுதல் தருவேன், என்கிறார் ஆண்டவர். அல்லேலூயா.

`இருக்கின்றவர் நானே' என்பவர் என்னை உங்களிடம் அனுப்பினார்.

அந்நாள்களில்

மோசே கடவுளிடம், “இதோ! இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களிடம் சென்று உங்கள் மூதாதையரின் கடவுள் என்னை உங்களிடம் அனுப்பியுள்ளார் என்று நான் சொல்ல, ‘அவர் பெயர் என்ன?’ என்று அவர்கள் என்னை வினவினால், அவர்களுக்கு என்ன சொல்வேன்?” என்று கேட்டார். கடவுள் மோசேயை நோக்கி, ‘இருக்கின்றவராக இருக்கின்றவர் நானே’ என்றார். மேலும் அவர், “நீ இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களிடம், ‘இருக்கின்றவர் நானே’ என்பவர் என்னை உங்களிடம் அனுப்பினார் என்று சொல்” என்றார்.

கடவுள் மீண்டும் மோசேயை நோக்கிப் பின்வருமாறு கூறினார்: “நீ இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களிடம், ‘உங்கள் மூதாதையரின் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவர் - ஆபிரகாமின் கடவுள், ஈசாக்கின் கடவுள், யாக்கோபின் கடவுள் - என்னை உங்களிடம் அனுப்பியுள்ளார்’ என்று சொல். இதுவே என்றென்றும் என் பெயர்; தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக என் நினைவுச் சின்னமும் இதுவே!

போ. இஸ்ரயேலின் பெரியோர்களை ஒன்றுதிரட்டி அவர்களை நோக்கி, ‘உங்கள் மூதாதையரின் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவர் - ஆபிரகாமின் கடவுள், ஈசாக்கின் கடவுள், யாக்கோபின் கடவுள் - எனக்குக் காட்சியளித்து இவ்வாறு கூறினார்: உங்களையும், எகிப்தில் உங்களுக்கு நேரிட்டதையும் நான் கண்ணாலே கண்டுகொண்டேன். எகிப்தின் கொடுமையிலிருந்து கானானியர், இத்தியர், எமோரியர், பெரிசியர், இவ்வியர், எபூசியர் வாழும் நாட்டிற்கு - பாலும், தேனும் பொழியும் நாட்டிற்கு - உங்களை நடத்திச் செல்வேன்’ என்று அறிவிப்பாய். அவர்கள் நீ சொல்வதைக் கேட்பர். நீயும் இஸ்ரயேலின் பெரியோர்களும் எகிப்திய மன்னனிடம் செல்லுங்கள். அவனை நோக்கி, ‘எபிரேயரின் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவர் எங்களைச் சந்தித்தார். இப்போதே நாங்கள் பாலை நிலத்தில் மூன்று நாள் வழிப்பயணம் போக இசைவு தாரும். ஏனெனில், எங்கள் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவருக்குப் பலிசெலுத்த வேண்டும்’ என்று சொல்லுங்கள்.

என் கைவன்மையைக் கண்டாலன்றி, எகிப்திய மன்னன் உங்களைப் போகவிடமாட்டான் என்பது எனக்குத் தெரியும். எனவே என் கையை ஓங்குவேன். நான் செய்யப்போகும் அனைத்து அருஞ்செயல்களாலும் எகிப்தியனைத் தண்டிப்பேன். அதற்குப் பின் அவன் உங்களை அனுப்பிவிடுவான்.”

"I am gentle and humble of heart" 

A Reading From The Holy Gospel According To Matthew 11, 28-30 

At that time Jesus spoke and said,

    “Come to me,

all of you who toil under the weight of the burden,

and I will give you rest.

    Take my yoke upon you,

become my disciples,

for I am gentle and lowly in heart,

and you will find rest for your soul.

    Yes, my yoke is easy to bear,

and my burden light. " 

            - Let us acclaim the Word of God.

Give thanks to the Lord, proclaim his name, proclaim his

mighty deeds among the peoples;

remember the wonders he did,

his wonders, the judgments he pronounced, R 

He always remembered his covenant, a

word decreed for a thousand generations: a

promise made to Abraham,

guaranteed by oath to Isaac. R 

God makes his people many

and more powerful than all his adversaries;

he makes them change their minds,

hate his people and deceive his servants. R 

But he sends his servant, Moses,

with a man of his choice, Aaron,

to announce

wonders , miracles in the land of Ham. R

"He who sent me to you is: I-AM"  

A Reading from the book of Exodus 3, 13-20 

In those days

Moses had heard the voice of the Lord

from the bush.

    He answered God,

"So I will go and find the children of Israel, and I will say to them,

'The God of your fathers has sent me to you.'

They will ask me what his name is;

what will I answer them? "

    God said to Moses,

" I am who I am.

You will speak thus to the children of Israel:

“He who sent me to you is, I-AM.” "

    God said to Moses,

" You shall tell the son of Israel:

"He who sent me to you,

it's THE LORD,

the God of your fathers,

the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac , the God of Jacob. ”

This is my name forever,

it is through him that you will remember me from age to age.

    Go, gather the elders of Israel. You will say to them,

“The Lord, the God of your fathers,

the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, has

appeared to me.

He said to me:

I visited you and thus I saw

how you are treated in Egypt.

    I said: I will bring you up out

of the misery which oppresses you in Egypt

to the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite,

the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivvite, and the Jebusite,

the land flowing with milk and honey. ”

    They will listen to your voice;

then you will go, with the elders of Israel,

to the king of Egypt, and say to him,

“The Lord, the God of the Hebrews,

has come to find us.

And now let us go

into the wilderness, three days away,

to offer a sacrifice to the Lord our God. ”

    Now, I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go

if he is not forced to.

    So

I will stretch out my hand and smite Egypt with all kinds of wonders

which I will do in the midst of it.

After that he will let you go. "
