ஜூலை  29 : நற்செய்தி வாசகம்

நீரே மெசியா! நீரே இறைமகன்! நீரே உலகிற்கு வரவிருந்தவர் என நம்புகிறேன்.

✠ யோவான் எழுதிய நற்செய்தியிலிருந்து வாசகம் 11: 19-27

அக்காலத்தில்

சகோதரர் இறந்ததால் மார்த்தா, மரியா இவர்களுக்கு ஆறுதல் சொல்லப் பலர் அங்கே வந்திருந்தனர். இயேசு வந்துகொண்டிருக்கிறார் என்று கேள்விப்பட்டதும் மார்த்தா அவரை எதிர்கொண்டு சென்றார்; மரியா வீட்டில் இருந்துவிட்டார்.

மார்த்தா இயேசுவை நோக்கி, “ஆண்டவரே, நீர் இங்கே இருந்திருந்தால் என் சகோதரன் இறந்திருக்க மாட்டான். இப்போது கூட நீர் கடவுளிடம் கேட்பதை எல்லாம் அவர் உமக்குக் கொடுப்பார் என்பது எனக்குத் தெரியும்” என்றார்.

இயேசு அவரிடம், “உன் சகோதரன் உயிர்த்தெழுவான்” என்றார்.

மார்த்தா அவரிடம், “இறுதி நாள் உயிர்த்தெழுதலின்போது அவனும் உயிர்த்தெழுவான் என்பது எனக்குத் தெரியும்” என்றார்.

இயேசு அவரிடம், “உயிர்த்தெழுதலும் வாழ்வும் நானே. என்னிடம் நம்பிக்கை கொள்பவர் இறப்பினும் வாழ்வார். உயிரோடு இருக்கும்போது என்னிடம் நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளும் எவரும் என்றுமே சாக மாட்டார். இதை நீ நம்புகிறாயா?” என்று கேட்டார்.

மார்த்தா அவரிடம், “ஆம் ஆண்டவரே, நீரே மெசியா! நீரே இறைமகன்! நீரே உலகிற்கு வரவிருந்தவர் என நம்புகிறேன்” என்றார்.

இந்த ஏழை கூவியழைத்தான்; ஆண்டவர் அவனுக்குச் செவிசாய்த்தார்; அவர் எல்லா நெருக்கடியினின்றும் அவனை விடுவித்துக் காத்தார். - பல்லவி

ஆண்டவருக்கு அஞ்சி வாழ்வோரை அவர்தம் தூதர் சூழ்ந்து நின்று காத்திடுவர்.

ஆண்டவரின் தூயோரே, அவருக்கு அஞ்சுங்கள்; அவருக்கு அஞ்சுவோர்க்கு எக்குறையும் இராது.

சிங்கக் குட்டிகள் உணவின்றிப் பட்டினி இருக்க நேரிட்டாலும், ஆண்டவரை நாடுவோர்க்கு நன்மை ஏதும் குறையாது. - பல்லவி

ஜூலை 29 :  முதல் வாசகம்

நாம் ஒருவர் மற்றவரிடம் அன்பு கொண்டுள்ளோம் என்றால் கடவுள் நம்மோடு இணைந்திருப்பார்.

திருத்தூதர் யோவான் எழுதிய முதல் திருமுகத்திலிருந்து வாசகம் 4: 7-16.

அன்பார்ந்தவர்களே, ஒருவர் மற்றவரிடம் அன்பு செலுத்துவோமாக! ஏனெனில் அன்பு கடவுளிடமிருந்து வருகிறது. அன்பு செலுத்தும் அனைவரும் கடவுளிடமிருந்து பிறந்தவர்கள். அவர்கள் கடவுளை அறிந்துள்ளார்கள். அன்பில்லாதோர் கடவுளை அறிந்து கொள்ளவில்லை; ஏனெனில், கடவுள் அன்பாய் இருக்கிறார். நாம் வாழ்வு பெறும் பொருட்டுக் கடவுள் தம் ஒரே மகனை உலகிற்கு அனுப்பினார். இதனால் கடவுள் நம்மீது வைத்த அன்பு வெளிப்பட்டது. நாம் கடவுள்மீது அன்பு கொண்டுள்ளோம் என்பதில் அல்ல, மாறாக அவர் நம்மீது அன்பு கொண்டு தம் மகனை நம் பாவங்களுக்குக் கழுவாயாக அனுப்பினார் என்பதில்தான் அன்பின் தன்மை விளங்குகிறது.

அன்பார்ந்தவர்களே, கடவுள் இவ்வாறு நம்மீது அன்பு கொண்டார் என்றால், நாமும் ஒருவர் மற்றவர்மீது அன்பு கொள்ளக் கடமைப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம். கடவுளை எவரும் என்றுமே கண்டதில்லை. நாம் ஒருவர் மற்றவரிடம் அன்பு கொண்டுள்ளோம் என்றால் கடவுள் நம்மோடு இணைந்திருப்பார்; அவரது அன்பு நம்மிடம் நிறைவு பெறும்.

அவர் தமது ஆவியை நமக்கு அருளியதால் நாம் அவரோடு இணைந்திருக்கிறோம் எனவும் அவர் நம்மிடம் இணைந்திருக்கிறார் எனவும் அறிந்து கொள்கிறோம்.

தந்தை தம் மகனை உலகிற்கு மீட்பராக அனுப்பினார் என்பதை நாங்களே கண்டறிந்தோம்; சான்றும் பகர்கின்றோம்.

இயேசுவே இறைமகன் என ஏற்று அறிக்கையிடுபவரோடு கடவுள் இணைந்திருக்கிறார்; அவரும் கடவுளோடு இணைந்திருக்கிறார். கடவுள் நம்மிடம் கொண்டுள்ள அன்பை அறிந்துள்ளோம்; அதை நம்புகிறோம்.

கடவுள் அன்பாய் இருக்கிறார். அன்பில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறவர் கடவுளோடு இணைந்திருக்கிறார். கடவுளும் அவரோடு இணைந்திருக்கிறார்.

She stepped in and said,

"Lord, do you

mind that my sister let me do the service alone?"

Tell him to help me. "

  The Lord answered her:

" Martha, Martha, you are worried

and you are agitated for many things.

  Only one is needed.

Mary has chosen the best part,

it will not be taken from her. " 

  - Let us acclaim the Word of God.

FIRST LECTURE 

“The cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the Dwelling” 

Reading the Book of Exodus 40 : 16-21.34-38 

In those days

    Moses did everything the Lord commanded him.

    The abode of God was erected in

the second year after leaving Egypt,

on the first day of the first month.

    So Moses erected the tabernacle:

he laid the bases, the beams, and the crossbars,

and he erected the pillars.

    Over the Abode he spread the Tent and covered it

as the Lord had commanded him.

    He took the Testimony and put it in the ark.

He put his poles on the ark

and covered it with the golden plate called the mercy seat.

    He introduced the ark into the Abode,

and put up the curtain to veil the ark of the Testimony.

as the Lord commanded him. 

    The cloud covered the Tent of Meeting,

and the glory of the Lord filled the Abode.

    Moses could not enter the Tent of Meeting,

for the cloud dwelt there

and the glory of the Lord filled the Abode.

    At each stage,

as the cloud arose and left the Abode,

the children of Israel raised camp.

    If the cloud did not rise, they encamped

until the day it arose.

    By day the cloud of the Lord rested over the Abode,

and by night a fire shone in the cloud

in the eyes of all Israel.

And so it was at all their stages. 

       - Word of the Lord.
