நற்செய்தி வாசகம் 

சிறு பிள்ளைகள் சிந்தும் சிறு துண்டுகளை நாய்க்குட்டிகள் தின்னுமே! 

மாற்கு எழுதிய நற்செய்தியிலிருந்து வாசகம் 7: 24-30 

அக்காலத்தில் இயேசு புறப்பட்டுத் தீர் பகுதிக்குள் சென்றார். அங்கே அவர் ஒரு வீட்டிற்குள் போனார்; தாம் அங்கிருப்பது எவருக்கும் தெரியாதிருக்க வேண்டுமென்று விரும்பியும் அதை மறைக்க இயலவில்லை. உடனே பெண் ஒருவர் அவரைப் பற்றிக் கேள்விப்பட்டு உள்ளே வந்து, அவர் காலில் விழுந்தார். அவருடைய மகளைத் தீய ஆவி பிடித்திருந்தது. அவர் ஒரு கிரேக்கப் பெண்; சிரிய பெனிசிய இனத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர். அவர் தம் மகளிடமிருந்து பேயை ஓட்டிவிடுமாறு அவரை வேண்டினார். இயேசு அவரைப் பார்த்து, ``முதலில் பிள்ளைகள் வயிறார உண்ணட்டும். பிள்ளைகளுக்குரிய உணவை எடுத்து நாய்க்குட்டிகளுக்குப் போடுவது முறையல்ல'' என்றார். அதற்கு அப்பெண், ``ஆம் ஐயா, ஆனாலும் மேசையின் கீழிருக்கும் நாய்க்குட்டிகள் சிறு பிள்ளைகள் சிந்தும் சிறு துண்டுகளைத் தின்னுமே'' என்று பதிலளித்தார். அப்பொழுது இயேசு அவரிடம், ``நீர் இப்படிச் சொன்னதால் போகலாம்; பேய் உம் மகளை விட்டு நீங்கிற்று'' என்றார். அப்பெண் தம் வீடு திரும்பியதும் தம் பிள்ளை கட்டிலில் படுத்திருக்கிறதையும் பேய் ஓடிவிட்டதையும் கண்டார். 

இது கிறிஸ்து வழங்கும் நற்செய்தி.

அந்நாள்களில்

ஆண்டவராகிய கடவுள், “மனிதன் தனிமையாக இருப்பது நல்லதன்று; அவனுக்குத் தகுந்த துணையை உருவாக்குவேன்” என்றார்.

ஆண்டவராகிய கடவுள் மண்ணிலிருந்து எல்லாக் காட்டு விலங்குகளையும் வானத்துப் பறவைகளையும் உருவாக்கி, அவற்றிற்கு மனிதன் என்ன பெயரிடுவான் என்று பார்க்க, அவற்றை அவனிடம் கொண்டு வந்தார். உயிருள்ள ஒவ்வொன்றுக்கும் அவன் என்ன பெயரிட்டானோ அதுவே அதன் பெயராயிற்று. கால்நடைகள், வானத்துப் பறவைகள், காட்டு விலங்குகள் ஆகிய எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் மனிதன் பெயரிட்டான்; தனக்குத் தகுந்த துணையையோ மனிதன் காணவில்லை.

ஆகவே ஆண்டவராகிய கடவுள் மனிதனுக்கு ஆழ்ந்த உறக்கம் வரச்செய்து, அவன் உறங்கும்பொழுது அவன் விலா எலும்பு ஒன்றை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, எடுத்த இடத்தைச் சதையால் அடைத்தார்.

ஆண்டவராகிய கடவுள் தாம் மனிதனிடமிருந்து எடுத்த விலா எலும்பை ஒரு பெண்ணாக உருவாக்கி மனிதனிடம் அழைத்து வந்தார். அப்பொழுது மனிதன், “இதோ! இவளே என் எலும்பின் எலும்பும் சதையின் சதையும் ஆனவள்; ஆணிடமிருந்து எடுக்கப்பட்டதால், இவள் பெண் என்று அழைக்கப்படுவாள்” என்றான்.

இதனால் கணவன் தன் தாய் தந்தையை விட்டுவிட்டுத் தன் மனைவியுடன் ஒன்றித்திருப்பான்; இருவரும் ஒரே உடலாய் இருப்பர்.

மனிதன், அவன் மனைவி ஆகிய இருவரும் ஆடையின்றி இருந்தனர். ஆனால் அவர்கள் வெட்கப்படவில்லை.

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to  Mark (7, 24-30) 

At that time Jesus left and came to the territory of Tire. He had entered a house, and he did not want anyone to know it, but he could not remain unnoticed: a woman immediately heard about him; she had a little daughter possessed by an unclean spirit; she came and threw herself at his feet. This woman was pagan, Syro-Phoenician by birth, and she asked her to expel the demon out of her daughter. He said to her: "First let the children get their fill, for it is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs." "But she replied:" Lord, the little dogs, under the table, eat little children's crumbs well! "Then he said to her:" Because of this word, go: the demon has gone out of your daughter. She came home, and found the child lying on the bed:

“God brought the woman to the man. And both will become one » 

"from the book of Genesis (2, 18-25) 

The Lord God said, “It is not good that a man is alone. I will give him a helper that will suit him. With earth, the Lord God molded all the beasts of the field and all the birds of the air, and he brought them to man to see what names he would give them. They were living things, and the man named each one. The man therefore gave their names to all the animals, to the birds of the air and to all the beasts of the field. But he couldn't find any suitable help. Then the Lord God caused a mysterious sleep to fall on him, and the man fell asleep. The Lord God took one of his ribs, then he closed the flesh in its place. With the rib he had taken from the man, he fashioned a woman and brought her to the man. The man then said: "This time, here is the bone of my bones and the flesh of my flesh!" She will be called woman - Ishsha - she who was taken from man - Ish. Because of this, the man will leave his father and his mother, he will become attached to his wife, and the two will become one. 

Both the man and his wife were naked, and they felt no shame in each other.
