மெசியா துன்புற்று, இறந்து, மூன்றாம் நாள் உயிர்த்தெழ வேண்டும் என்று எழுதியுள்ளது.

லூக்கா எழுதிய நற்செய்தியிலிருந்து வாசகம் 24: 35-48

அக்காலத்தில்

சீடர்கள் வழியில் நிகழ்ந்தவற்றையும், இயேசு அப்பத்தைப் பிட்டுக் கொடுக்கும்போது அவரைக் கண்டுணர்ந்துகொண்டதையும் அங்கு இருந்தவர்களுக்கு எடுத்துரைத்தார்கள்.

சீடர்கள் இவ்வாறு பேசிக்கொண்டிருந்தபோது இயேசு அவர்கள் நடுவில் நின்று, “உங்களுக்கு அமைதி உரித்தாகுக!” என்று அவர்களை வாழ்த்தினார். அவர்கள் திகிலுற்று, அச்சம் நிறைந்தவர்களாய், ஓர் ஆவியைக் காண்பதாய் நினைத்தார்கள். அதற்கு அவர், “நீங்கள் ஏன் கலங்குகிறீர்கள்? ஏன் இவ்வாறு உங்கள் உள்ளத்தில் ஐயம் கொள்கிறீர்கள்? என் கைகளையும் என் கால்களையும் பாருங்கள், நானேதான். என்னைத் தொட்டுப் பாருங்கள்; எனக்கு எலும்பும் சதையும் இருப்பதைக் காண்கிறீர்களே; இவை ஆவிக்குக் கிடையாதே” என்று அவர்களிடம் கூறினார்; இப்படிச் சொல்லித் தம் கைகளையும் கால்களையும் அவர்களுக்குக் காண்பித்தார்.

அவர்களோ மகிழ்ச்சி மேலிட்டு, நம்பமுடியாதவர்களாய், வியப்புக்குள்ளாகி இருந்தார்கள். அப்போது அவர் அவர்களிடம், “உண்பதற்கு இங்கே உங்களிடம் ஏதேனும் உண்டா?” என்று கேட்டார். அவர்கள் வேகவைத்த மீன் துண்டு ஒன்றை அவரிடம் கொடுத்தார்கள். அதை அவர் எடுத்து அவர்கள்முன் அமர்ந்து உண்டார்.

பின்பு அவர் அவர்களைப் பார்த்து, “மோசேயின் சட்டத்திலும் இறைவாக்கினர் நூல்களிலும் திருப்பாடல்களிலும் என்னைப்பற்றி எழுதப்பட்டுள்ள அனைத்தும் நிறைவேற வேண்டும் என்று நான் உங்களோடு இருந்தபோதே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லியிருந்தேனே” என்றார்; அப்போது மறைநூலைப் புரிந்துகொள்ளுமாறு அவர்களுடைய மனக் கண்களைத் திறந்தார். அவர் அவர்களிடம், ‘மெசியா துன்புற்று இறந்து மூன்றாம் நாள் உயிர்த்தெழ வேண்டும் என்றும், “பாவமன்னிப்புப் பெற மனம் மாறுங்கள்’ என எருசலேம் தொடங்கி அனைத்து நாடுகளிலும் அவருடைய பெயரால் பறைசாற்றப்பட வேண்டும் என்றும் எழுதியுள்ளது. இவற்றுக்கு நீங்கள் சாட்சிகள்” என்றார்.

ஏப்ரல் 18 : இரண்டாம் வாசகம்

நம் பாவங்களுக்குக் கழுவாய் அவரே; அனைத்துலகின் பாவங்களுக்கும் கழுவாய் அவரே.

திருத்தூதர் யோவான் எழுதிய முதல் திருமுகத்திலிருந்து வாசகம் 2: 1-5

என் பிள்ளைகளே, நீங்கள் பாவம் செய்யாதிருக்க வேண்டும் என இதை நான் உங்களுக்கு எழுதுகிறேன்; ஆயினும் ஒருவர் பாவம் செய்ய நேர்ந்தால் தந்தையிடம் பரிந்து பேசுபவர் ஒருவர் நமக்கு இருக்கிறார். அவரே மாசற்ற இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. நம் பாவங்களுக்குக் கழுவாய் அவரே; நம் பாவங்களுக்கு மட்டும் அல்ல, அனைத்துலகின் பாவங்களுக்கும் கழுவாய் அவரே.

அவருடைய கட்டளைகளை நாம் கடைப்பிடித்தால் நாம் அவரை அறிந்துகொண்டோம் என்பது உறுதியாகத் தெரியும். “அவரை எனக்குத் தெரியும்” எனச் சொல்லிக்கொண்டு அவருடைய கட்டளைகளைக் கடைப்பிடிக்காதோர் பொய்யர்; உண்மை அவர்களிடம் இராது. ஆனால் அவரது வார்த்தையைக் கடைப்பிடிப்போரிடம் கடவுளின் அன்பு உண்மையாகவே நிறைவடைகிறது; நாம் அவரோடு இணைந்து இருக்கிறோம் என அதனால் அறிந்துகொள்ளலாம்.

அன்பர்களே, நீங்களும் உங்கள் தலைவர்களும் அறியாமையினாலேயே இப்படிச் செய்துவிட்டீர்கள் என எனக்குத் தெரியும். ஆனால் கடவுள், தம் மெசியா துன்புற வேண்டும் என்று இறைவாக்கினர் அனைவர் வாயிலாகவும் முன்னறிவித்ததை இவ்வாறு நிறைவேற்றினார். எனவே உங்கள் பாவங்கள் போக்கப்படும்பொருட்டு மனம் மாறி அவரிடம் திரும்புங்கள்.

At that time, the disciples returning from Emmaus were telling the eleven Apostles and their companions what had happened on the road, and how the Lord had made himself known by them at the breaking of bread.

As they were still talking about it, he himself was present among them, and said to them: “Peace be with you! Seized with fear and fear, they thought they saw a spirit. Jesus said to them, “Why are you upset? And why these thoughts that arise in your heart? See my hands and my feet: it's me! Touch me, look: a spirit has no flesh and bones as you see I have. My little children, I am writing this to you so that you may avoid sin. But if one of us comes to sin, we have a defender before the Father: Jesus Christ, the Righteous. It is he who, by his sacrifice, obtains the forgiveness of our sins, not only of ours, but also of those of the whole world. This is how we know we know him: if we keep his commandments. He who says, "I know him," and who does not keep his commandments, is a liar: the truth is not in him. But in one who keeps his word, the love of God truly reaches perfection.

In those days Peter spoke before the people: “Men of Israel, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified his servant Jesus, while you, you had handed him over, you had denied him in the presence of Pilate, who was determined to release him. You have denied the Holy and the Righteous, and you have asked for the grace of a murderer. You have killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, we are witnesses.
