தீய ஆவியே, இந்த மனிதரை விட்டுப் போ.

மாற்கு எழுதிய நற்செய்தியிலிருந்து வாசகம் 5: 1-20

அக்காலத்தில்

இயேசுவும் அவர் சீடரும் கடலுக்கு அக்கரையில் இருந்த கெரசேனர் பகுதிக்கு வந்தார்கள். இயேசு படகை விட்டு இறங்கிய உடனே தீய ஆவி பிடித்த ஒருவர் கல்லறைகளிலிருந்து அவருக்கு எதிரே வந்தார். கல்லறைகளே அம்மனிதரின் உறைவிடம். அவரை எவராலும் ஒருபொழுதும் சங்கிலியால் கூடக் கட்டிவைக்க முடியவில்லை. ஏனெனில், அவரைப் பல முறை விலங்குகளாலும் சங்கிலிகளாலும் கட்டியிருந்தும் அவர் சங்கிலிகளை உடைத்து விலங்குகளைத் தகர்த்து எறிந்தார். எவராலும் அவரை அடக்க இயலவில்லை. அவர் இரவு பகலாய் எந்நேரமும் கல்லறைகளிலும் மலைகளிலும் கூச்சலிட்டுக் கொண்டிருந்தார்; தம்மையே கற்களால் காயப்படுத்தி வந்தார்.

அவர் தொலையிலிருந்து இயேசுவைக் கண்டு, ஓடிவந்து அவரைப் பணிந்து, “இயேசுவே, உன்னத கடவுளின் மகனே, உமக்கு இங்கு என்ன வேலை? கடவுள் மேல் ஆணை! என்னை வதைக்க வேண்டாம்” என்று உரத்த குரலில் கத்தினார். ஏனெனில் இயேசு அவரிடம், “தீய ஆவியே, இந்த மனிதரை விட்டுப் போ” என்று சொல்லியிருந்தார். அவர் அம்மனிதரிடம், “உம் பெயர் என்ன?” என்று கேட்க அவர், “என் பெயர் ‘இலேகியோன்', ஏனெனில் நாங்கள் பலர்” என்று சொல்லி, அந்தப் பகுதியிலிருந்து தங்களை அனுப்பிவிட வேண்டாம் என்று அவரை வருந்தி வேண்டினார்.

அங்கே மலைப் பகுதியில் பன்றிகள் பெருங்கூட்டமாய் மேய்ந்து கொண்டிருந்தன. “நாங்கள் அப்பன்றிகளுக்குள் புகும்படி எங்களை அங்கே அனுப்பிவிடும்” என்று தீய ஆவிகள் அவரை வேண்டின. அவரும் அவற்றுக்கு அனுமதி கொடுத்தார். பின் தீய ஆவிகள் வெளியேறிப் பன்றிகளுக்குள் புகுந்தன. ஏறக்குறைய இரண்டாயிரம் பன்றிகள் அடங்கிய அந்தக் கூட்டம் செங்குத்துப் பாறையிலிருந்து கடலில் பாய்ந்து வீழ்ந்து மூழ்கியது.

பன்றிகளை மேய்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்தவர்களோ ஓடிப்போய் நகரிலும் நாட்டுப்புறத்திலும் இதை அறிவித்தார்கள். நடந்தது என்னவென்று பார்க்க மக்கள் வந்தனர். அவர்கள் இயேசுவிடம் வந்தபோது, பேய் பிடித்திருந்தவர், அதாவது இலேகியோன் பிடித்திருந்த அவர், ஆடையணிந்து அறிவுத் தெளிவுடன் அமர்ந்திருப்பதைக் கண்டு அச்சமுற்றார்கள். நடந்ததைப் பார்த்தவர்கள் பேய் பிடித்தவருக்கும் பன்றிகளுக்கும் நேரிட்டதை அவர்களுக்கு எடுத்துரைத்தார்கள். அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் தங்கள் பகுதியை விட்டுப் போய்விடுமாறு இயேசுவை வேண்டிக்கொண்டார்கள்.

அவர் படகில் ஏறியதும் பேய் பிடித்திருந்தவர் தாமும் அவரோடுகூட இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று அவரை வேண்டிக்கொண்டார். ஆனால் அவர் அதற்கு இசையாமல், அவரைப் பார்த்து, “உமது வீட்டிற்குப் போய் ஆண்டவர் உம்மீது இரக்கம் கொண்டு உமக்குச் செய்ததையெல்லாம் உம் உறவினருக்கு அறிவியும்” என்றார். அவர் சென்று, இயேசு தமக்குச் செய்ததையெல்லாம் தெக்கப்பொலி நாட்டில் அறிவித்து வந்தார். அனைவரும் வியப்புற்றனர்.

எபிரேயருக்கு எழுதப்பட்ட திருமுகத்திலிருந்து வாசகம் 11: 32-40

சகோதரர் சகோதரிகளே,

கிதியோன், பாராக்கு, சிம்சோன், இப்தாகு, தாவீது, சாமுவேல் ஆகியோர் பற்றியும், இறைவாக்கினர் பற்றியும் எடுத்துரைக்க எனக்கு நேரமில்லை. நம்பிக்கையினாலேயே இவர்கள் அரசுகளை வென்றார்கள்; நேர்மையாகச் செயல்பட்டார்கள்; கடவுள் வாக்களித்தவற்றைப் பெற்றார்கள்; சிங்கங்களின் வாய்களை அடைத்தார்கள்; தீயின் கொடுமையைத் தணித்தார்கள்; வாள்முனைக்குத் தப்பினார்கள்; வலுவற்றவராய் இருந்தும் வலிமை பெற்றார்கள்; போரில் வீரம் காட்டினார்கள்; மாற்றார் படைகளை முறியடித்தார்கள்.

பெண்கள் இறந்த தம் உறவினரை உயிர்த்தெழுந்தவராய்ப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டார்கள். உயிர்த்தெழுந்து சிறப்புறும் பொருட்டு, சிலர் விடுதலை பெற மறுத்து, வதையுண்டு மடிந்தனர். வேறு சிலர் ஏளனங்களுக்கும் கசையடிகளுக்கும் ஆளாயினர்; விலங்கிடப்பட்டுச் சிறையில்கூட அடைக்கப்பட்டனர். சிலர் கல்லெறிபட்டனர்; இரண்டாக அறுக்கப்பட்டனர்; வாளுக்கு இரையாகி மடிந்தனர்; செம்மறியின் தோலையும் வெள்ளாட்டுத் தோலையும் போர்த்துக்கொண்டு அலைந்து திரிந்தனர்; வறுமையுற்று வாடினர்; துன்புறுத்தப்பட்டனர்; கொடுமைக்கு உள்ளாயினர். அவர்களை ஏற்க இவ்வுலகுக்குத் தகுதியில்லாமல் போயிற்று. மலைகளிலும் குகைகளிலும் நிலவெடிப்புகளிலும் பாலைவெளிகளிலும் அவர்கள் அலைந்து திரிந்தார்கள்.

இவர்கள் அனைவரும் தம் நம்பிக்கையினாலே நற்சான்று பெற்றார்கள். ஆயினும் கடவுள் வாக்களித்ததை அவர்கள் பெறவில்லை. ஏனெனில், நம்மோடு இணைந்துதான் அவர்கள் நிறைவுபெற முடியும் என்பதைக் கடவுள் கருத்தில் கொண்டு, நமக்காகச் சிறந்த திட்டம் ஒன்றை வகுத்திருந்தார்.

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to St.Mark 5:1-20 

Jesus and his disciples reached the country of the Gerasenes on the other side of the lake, and no sooner had Jesus left the boat than a man with an unclean spirit came out from the tombs towards him. The man lived in the tombs and no one could secure him any more, even with a chain; because he had often been secured with fetters and chains but had snapped the chains and broken the fetters, and no one had the strength to control him. All night and all day, among the tombs and in the mountains, he would howl and gash himself with stones. Catching sight of Jesus from a distance, he ran up and fell at his feet and shouted at the top of his voice, ‘What do you want with me, Jesus, son of the Most High God? Swear by God you will not torture me!’ – for Jesus had been saying to him, ‘Come out of the man, unclean spirit.’ ‘What is your name?’ Jesus asked. ‘My name is legion,’ he answered ‘for there are many of us.’ And he begged him earnestly not to send them out of the district.

  Now there was there on the mountainside a great herd of pigs feeding, and the unclean spirits begged him, ‘Send us to the pigs, let us go into them.’ So he gave them leave. With that, the unclean spirits came out and went into the pigs, and the herd of about two thousand pigs charged down the cliff into the lake, and there they were drowned. The swineherds ran off and told their story in the town and in the country round about; and the people came to see what had really happened. They came to Jesus and saw the demoniac sitting there, clothed and in his full senses – the very man who had had the legion in him before – and they were afraid. And those who had witnessed it reported what had happened to the demoniac and what had become of the pigs. Then they began to implore Jesus to leave the neighbourhood. As he was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed begged to be allowed to stay with him. Jesus would not let him but said to him, ‘Go home to your people and tell them all that the Lord in his mercy has done for you.’ So the man went off and proceeded to spread throughout the Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him. And everyone was amazed.

The example of the Old Testament saints.

Hebrews 11:32-40 

Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel and the prophets – these were men who through faith conquered kingdoms, did what is right and earned the promises. They could keep a lion’s mouth shut, put out blazing fires and emerge unscathed from battle. They were weak people who were given strength, to be brave in war and drive back foreign invaders. Some came back to their wives from the dead, by resurrection; and others submitted to torture, refusing release so that they would rise again to a better life. Some had to bear being pilloried and flogged, or even chained up in prison. They were stoned, or sawn in half, or beheaded; they were homeless, and dressed in the skins of sheep and goats; they were penniless and were given nothing but ill-treatment. They were too good for the world and they went out to live in deserts and mountains and in caves and ravines. These are all heroes of faith, but they did not receive what was promised, since God had made provision for us to have something better, and they were not to reach perfection except with us.

நற்செய்தி வாசகம் 

அதிகாரத்தோடு அவர்களுக்குக் கற்பித்து வந்தார். 

மாற்கு எழுதிய நற்செய்தியிலிருந்து வாசகம் 1: 21-28 

ஒருமுறை இயேசுவும் அவர் சீடர்களும் கப்பர்நாகும் ஊரில் நுழைந்தார்கள். ஓய்வு நாள்களில் இயேசு தொழுகைக்கூடத்திற்குச் சென்று கற்பித்து வந்தார். அவருடைய போதனையைக் குறித்து மக்கள் வியப்பில் ஆழ்ந்தார்கள். ஏனெனில் அவர் மறைநூல் அறிஞரைப் போலன்றி, அதிகாரத்தோடு அவர்களுக்குக் கற்பித்து வந்தார். அப்போது அவர்களுடைய தொழுகைக்கூடத்தில் தீய ஆவி பிடித்திருந்த ஒருவர் இருந்தார். அவரைப் பிடித்திருந்த ஆவி, ``நாசரேத்து இயேசுவே, உமக்கு இங்கு என்ன வேலை? எங்களை ஒழித்துவிடவா வந்தீர்? நீர் யார் என எனக்குத் தெரியும். நீர் கடவுளுக்கு அர்ப்பணமானவர்'' என்று கத்தியது. ``வாயை மூடு, இவரை விட்டு வெளியே போ'' என்று இயேசு அதனை அதட்டினார். அப்பொழுது அத்தீய ஆவி அம் மனிதருக்கு வலிப்பு உண்டாக்கிப் பெருங் கூச்சலிட்டு அவரை விட்டு வெளியேறிற்று. அவர்கள் அனைவரும் திகைப்புற்று, ``இது என்ன? இது அதிகாரம் கொண்ட புதிய போதனையாய் இருக்கிறதே! இவர் தீய ஆவிகளுக்கும் கட்டளையிடுகிறார்; அவையும் இவருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகின்றனவே!'' என்று தங்களிடையே பேசிக்கொண்டனர். அவரைப் பற்றிய செய்தி உடனே கலிலேயாவின் சுற்றுப்புறமெங்கும் பரவியது. 

இது கிறிஸ்து வழங்கும் நற்செய்தி.

இரண்டாம் வாசகம் 

கன்னிப் பெண் தூயவராக இருக்கும் வண்ணம் ஆண்டவருக்கு உரியவற்றில் அக்கறையாக இருக்கிறார். 

திருத்தூதர் பவுல் கொரிந்தியருக்கு எழுதிய முதல் திருமுகத்திலிருந்து வாசகம் 7: 32-35 

சகோதரர் சகோதரிகளே, நீங்கள் கவலையற்றவர்களாய் இருக்க வேண்டுமென்றே நான் விரும்புகிறேன். மணமாகாதவர் ஆண்டவருக்கு உரியவற்றில் அக்கறை கொள்கிறார்; எப்படி அவருக்கு உகந்தவற்றைச் செய்யலாம் என எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார். ஆனால் மணமானவர் உலகுக்கு உரியவற்றில் அக்கறை கொள்கிறார்; எப்படித் தம் மனைவிக்கு உகந்தவற்றைச் செய்யலாம் என எண்ணிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார். இவ்வாறு அவர் மனம் பிளவுபட்டுள்ளது. மணமாகாத பெண்ணும் கன்னிப் பெண்ணும் ஆண்டவருக்கு உரியவற்றில் அக்கறை கொள்வதால் அவர்கள் உடலிலும் உள்ளத்திலும் தூயோர் ஆகின்றனர். ஆனால் மணமான பெண், உலகுக்கு உரியவற்றில் அக்கறை கொள்வதால் எப்படித் தம் கணவருக்கு உகந்தவற்றைச் செய்யலாம் என எண்ணிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார். உங்களைக் கட்டுப்படுத்துவதற்காக அல்ல, உங்கள் நலனுக்காகவே இதை நான் சொல்கிறேன். எல்லாம் ஒழுங்காய் இருக்கவும் நீங்கள் முழு மனத்தோடு ஆண்டவரிடம் பற்றுக்கொண்டிருக்கவுமே இவ்வாறு சொல்கிறேன். 

இது ஆண்டவர் வழங்கும் அருள்வாக்கு.

"He taught as a man who has authority" 

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Mark (1, 21-28) 

Jesus and his disciples entered Capernaum. Immediately on the Sabbath day he went to the synagogue and there he was teaching. We were struck by his teaching, because he taught as a man of authority, and not like the scribes. Now there was in their synagogue a man tormented by an unclean spirit, who began to cry out, "What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth?" Have you come to lose us? I know who you are: you are the Holy One of God. "Jesus called out to him sharply:" Shut up! Get out of this man. The unclean spirit made him go into convulsions, then, uttering a loud cry, came out of him. They were all stunned and asked each other: "What does that mean?" Here is a new teaching, given with authority! He even commands unclean spirits, and they obey him.

the first letter of Saint Paul the apostle to the Corinthians (7, 32-35) 

Brethren, I would like to see you free from worry. The one who is not married cares about the Lord's affairs, he seeks how to please the Lord. He who is married cares about the affairs of this world, he seeks how to please his wife, and he finds himself divided. The woman without a husband, or one who remains a virgin, cares about the affairs of the Lord, in order to be sanctified in body and spirit. The one who is married is concerned with the affairs of this world, she is looking for how to please her husband. It is in your interest that I say this; it is not to set a trap for you, but to offer you what is good, so that you may be attached to the Lord without sharing.

எபிரேயருக்கு எழுதப்பட்ட திருமுகத்திலிருந்து வாசகம் 11: 1-2, 8-19

"He was waiting for the city of which God himself is the builder and the architect" 

the letter to the Hebrews (11, 1-2.8-19) 

Brothers, faith is a way of having what one hopes for, a way of knowing realities that one does not see. And when the Scripture testifies to the elders, it's because of their faith.

Thanks to faith, Abraham obeyed God's call: he set out for a land which he was to receive as an inheritance, and he left without knowing where he was going. Thanks to faith, he came to stay as an immigrant in the Promised Land, as in a foreign land; he lived in the tent, as did Isaac and Jacob, heirs of the same promise, for he awaited the city which would have true foundations, the city of which God himself is the builder and the architect.

Through faith Sarah, too, despite her age, was enabled to be the source of offspring because she believed that God was faithful to his promises. This is why, from a single man, already marked by death, an offspring as numerous as the stars of the sky and the sand by the sea, an innumerable multitude could be born. It is in faith, without having known the fulfillment of the promises, that they all died; but they had seen and greeted her from afar, asserting that on earth they were strangers and travelers. However, to speak in this way is to clearly show that we are looking for a homeland. If they had thought of the one they had left, they would have had the opportunity to come back. In fact, they longed for a better homeland, that of heaven. So God is not ashamed to be called their God,

Through faith, when he was tested, Abraham offered Isaac as a sacrifice. And he was offering the only begotten son, even though he had received the promises and heard this saying: Through Isaac shall their descendants bear your name. மேலும் அவர், “இறையாட்சியை எதற்கு ஒப்பிடலாம்? அல்லது எந்த உவமையால் அதை எடுத்துச் சொல்லலாம்? அது கடுகு விதைக்கு ஒப்பாகும். அது நிலத்தில் விதைக்கப்படும்பொழுது உலகிலுள்ள எல்லா விதைகளையும் விடச் சிறியது. அது விதைக்கப்பட்டபின் முளைத்தெழுந்து எல்லாச் செடிகளையும்விடப் பெரிதாகி, வானத்துப் பறவைகள் அதன் நிழலில் தங்கக்கூடிய அளவுக்குப் பெருங்கிளைகள் விடும்” என்று கூறினார்.

அவர்களது கேட்டறியும் திறமைக்கு ஏற்ப, அவர் இத்தகைய பல உவமைகளால் இறைவார்த்தையை அவர்களுக்கு எடுத்துரைத்து வந்தார். உவமைகள் இன்றி அவர் அவர்களோடு பேசவில்லை. ஆனால் தனிமையாக இருந்தபோது தம் சீடருக்கு அனைத்தையும் விளக்கிச் சொன்னார்.

சகோதரர் சகோதரிகளே,

நாமோ பின்வாங்கிச் சென்று அழிவுறுவோர் அல்ல. மாறாக, நம்பிக்கையையும் வாழ்வையும் காத்துக்கொள்வோர் ஆவோம்.

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to St.Mark 4:26-34.

Jesus said to the crowds: ‘This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man throws seed on the land. Night and day, while he sleeps, when he is awake, the seed is sprouting and growing; how, he does not know. Of its own accord the land produces first the shoot, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. And when the crop is ready, he loses no time: he starts to reap because the harvest has come.’

  He also said, ‘What can we say the kingdom of God is like? What parable can we find for it? It is like a mustard seed which at the time of its sowing in the soil is the smallest of all the seeds on earth; yet once it is sown it grows into the biggest shrub of them all and puts out big branches so that the birds of the air can shelter in its shade.’

  Using many parables like these, he spoke the word to them, so far as they were capable of understanding it. He would not speak to them except in parables, but he explained everything to his disciples when they were alone.

We are the sort who keep faithful.

Hebrews 10:32-39 

Remember all the sufferings that you had to meet after you received the light, in earlier days; sometimes by being yourselves publicly exposed to insults and violence, and sometimes as associates of others who were treated in the same way. For you not only shared in the sufferings of those who were in prison, but you happily accepted being stripped of your belongings, knowing that you owned something that was better and lasting. Be as confident now, then, since the reward is so great. You will need endurance to do God’s will and gain what he has promised.

Only a little while now, a very little while,

and the one that is coming will have come; he will not delay.

The righteous man will live by faith,

but if he draws back, my soul will take no pleasure in him.

You and I are not the sort of people who draw back, and are lost by it; we are the sort who keep faithful until our souls are saved.

சகோதரர் சகோதரிகளே, 

இயேசுவின் உடலைக் கோவிலின் திரைச்சீலைக்கு ஒப்பிடலாம். இத்திரைச்சீலை வழியாகத் திருத்தூயகத்திற்குள் நுழைய நமக்குத் துணிவு உண்டு. ஏனெனில் அவர் இரத்தம் சிந்தி நமக்கெனப் புதியதொரு வழியைத் திறந்து வைத்துள்ளார். இதுவே வாழ்வுக்கு அழைத்துச் செல்லும் வழி. மேலும் கடவுளுடைய இல்லத்தின்மீது அதிகாரம் பெற்ற பெரிய குரு ஒருவர் நமக்கு உண்டு. ஆதலால், தீய மனச்சான்றிலிருந்து விடுவிக்கப்பட்ட உள்ளமும் தூய நீரில் கழுவப்பட்ட உடலும் உடையவர்களாய், நேரிய உள்ளத்தோடும் மிகு உறுதியான நம்பிக்கையோடும் அவரை அணுகிச் செல்வோமாக. நமக்கு வாக்களித்தவர் நம்பிக்கைக்கு உரியவர். 

எனவே நாம் எதிர்நோக்கியிருப்பதைப் பற்றித் தயக்கமின்றி அறிக்கையிடுவதில் நிலையாய் இருப்போமாக. அன்பு செலுத்தவும் நற்செயல்கள் புரியவும் ஒருவரையொருவர் தூண்டியெழுப்பக் கருத்தாயிருப்போமாக. சிலர் வழக்கமாகவே நம் சபைக் கூட்டங்களில் கலந்து கொள்வதில்லை. நாம் அவ்வாறு செய்யலாகாது; ஒன்று கூடி ஒருவருக்கொருவர் ஊக்கமூட்டுவோமாக. இறுதிநாள் நெருங்கி வருகிறதைக் காண்கிறோம்; எனவே இன்னும் அதிகமாய் ஊக்கமூட்டுவோம்.

“In the fullness of faith, let us continue to affirm our hope. Let us be attentive to each other to stimulate ourselves to live in love ” 

the letter to the Hebrews (10, 19-25) 

Brothers, it is with confidence that we can enter the true sanctuary thanks to the blood of Jesus: we have here a new and living path that he inaugurated by crossing the curtain of the Sanctuary; but this curtain is his flesh. And we have the priest par excellence, the one who is established over the house of God. Let us therefore come forward to God with a sincere heart and in the fullness of faith, the heart purified from that which defiles our conscience, the body washed with pure water. Let us continue without wavering to affirm our hope, for he is faithful, the one who promised. Let us be attentive to each other to stimulate ourselves to live in love and to do well. Let us not abandon our assemblies, as some have become accustomed to, but let us encourage ourselves, especially as you see the day of the Lord approaching.

அக்காலத்தில் 

இயேசு மீண்டும் கடலோரத்தில் கற்பிக்கத் தொடங்கினார். மாபெரும் மக்கள் கூட்டம் அவரிடம் ஒன்றுகூடி வர, அவர் கடலில் நின்ற ஒரு படகில் ஏறி அமர்ந்தார். திரண்டிருந்த மக்கள் அனைவரும் கடற்கரையில் இருந்தனர். அவர் உவமைகள் வாயிலாகப் பலவற்றை அவர்களுக்குக் கற்பித்தார். 

அவர் அவர்களுக்குக் கற்பித்தது: “இதோ, கேளுங்கள். விதைப்பவர் ஒருவர் விதைக்கச் சென்றார். அவர் விதைக்கும்பொழுது சில விதைகள் வழியோரம் விழுந்தன. பறவைகள் வந்து அவற்றை விழுங்கிவிட்டன. வேறு சில விதைகள் மிகுதியாக மண் இல்லாப் பாறைப் பகுதிகளில் விழுந்தன. அங்கே மண் ஆழமாக இல்லாததால் அவை விரைவில் முளைத்தன. ஆனால் கதிரவன் மேலே எழ, அவை காய்ந்து, வேர் இல்லாமையால் கருகிப் போயின. மற்றும் சில விதைகள் முட்செடிகளிடையே விழுந்தன. முட்செடிகள் வளர்ந்து அவற்றை நெருக்கி விடவே, அவை விளைச்சலைக் கொடுக்கவில்லை. ஆனால் இன்னும் சில விதைகள் நல்ல நிலத்தில் விழுந்தன. அவை முளைத்து வளர்ந்து, சில முப்பது மடங்காகவும் சில அறுபது மடங்காகவும் சில நூறு மடங்காகவும் விளைச்சலைக் கொடுத்தன. கேட்கச் செவியுள்ளோர் கேட்கட்டும்.” 

அவர் தனிமையான இடத்தில் இருந்தபோது அவரைச் சூழ்ந்து இருந்தவர்கள், பன்னிருவரோடு சேர்ந்துகொண்டு, உவமைகளைப் பற்றி அவரிடம் கேட்டார்கள். அதற்கு இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “இறையாட்சியின் மறைபொருளை அறிய உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்து வைத்திருக்கிறது; புறம்பே இருக்கிறவர்களுக்கோ எல்லாம் உவமைகளாகவே இருக்கின்றன. எனவே அவர்கள் ‘ஒருபோதும் மனம் மாறி மன்னிப்புப் பெறாதபடி கண்ணால் தொடர்ந்து பார்த்தும் கண்டுகொள்ளாமலும் காதால் தொடர்ந்து கேட்டும் கருத்தில் கொள்ளாமலும் இருப்பார்கள்’ “ என்று கூறினார். 

மேலும் அவர் அவர்களை நோக்கி, “இந்த உவமை உங்களுக்குப் புரியவில்லையா? பின்பு எப்படி மற்ற உவமைகளையெல்லாம் நீங்கள் புரிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்? விதைப்பவர் இறைவார்த்தையை விதைக்கிறார். வழியோரம் விழுந்த விதைகளுக்கு ஒப்பானவர்கள் வார்த்தையைக் கேட்பார்கள். ஆனால் அதைக் கேட்டவுடன் சாத்தான் வந்து அவர்களுள் விதைக்கப்பட்ட வார்த்தையை எடுத்துவிடுகிறான். பாறைப் பகுதியில் விதைக்கப்பட்ட விதைகளுக்கு ஒப்பானவர்கள் இறைவார்த்தையைக் கேட்டவுடன் அதை மகிழ்ச்சியோடு ஏற்றுக்கொள்வார்கள். ஆனால் அவர்கள் வேரற்றவர்கள்; சிறிது காலமே நிலைத்திருப்பவர்கள். இறைவார்த்தையின் பொருட்டு இன்னலோ இடுக்கண்ணோ நேர்ந்த உடனே அவர்கள் தடுமாற்றம் அடைவார்கள். முட்செடிகளுக்கு இடையில் விதைக்கப்பட்ட விதைகளுக்கு ஒப்பானவர்கள் இறைவார்த்தையைக் கேட்டும், உலகக் கவலையும் செல்வ மாயையும் ஏனைய தீய ஆசைகளும் உட்புகுந்து அவ்வார்த்தையை நெருக்கிவிடுவதால், பயன் அளிக்க மாட்டார்கள். நல்ல நிலத்தில் விதைக்கப்பட்ட விதைகளுக்கு ஒப்பானவர்கள் இறைவார்த்தையைக் கேட்டு அதை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு பயன் அளிப்பார்கள். இவர்களுள் சிலர் முப்பது மடங்காகவும் சிலர் அறுபது மடங்காகவும் சிலர் நூறு மடங்காகவும் பயன் அளிப்பர்” என்றார்.

ஒவ்வொரு குருவும் நாள்தோறும் இறை ஊழியம் புரியும்போது மீண்டும் மீண்டும் அதே பலிகளைச் செலுத்தி வருகிறார். அவையோ பாவங்களை ஒருபோதும் போக்க இயலாதவை. ஆனால், இவர் ஒரே பலியைப் பாவங்களுக்காக என்றென்றைக்கும் எனச் செலுத்திவிட்டு, கடவுளின் வலப் பக்கத்தில் அமர்ந்துள்ளார். அங்கே தம் பகைவர் தமக்குக் கால்மணை ஆக்கப்படும்வரை காத்திருக்கிறார். தாம் தூயவர் ஆக்கியவர்களை ஒரே பலியினால் என்றென்றைக்கும் நிறைவுள்ளவர் ஆக்கினார். 

இதுபற்றித் தூய ஆவியாரும், “அந்நாள்களுக்குப் பிறகு அவர்களோடு நான் செய்ய இருக்கும் உடன்படிக்கை இதுவே: என் சட்டத்தை அவர்கள் உள்ளத்தில் பதிப்பேன்; அதை அவர்களது இதயத்தில் எழுதி வைப்பேன்” என்று நமக்குச் சான்று பகர்கிறார். இவ்வாறு சொன்னபின், “அவர்களது தீச்செயலையும் அவர்களுடைய பாவங்களையும் இனிமேல் நினைவுகூர மாட்டேன்” என்றும் கூறுகிறார். எனவே பாவ மன்னிப்பு கிடைத்தபின் பாவத்திற்குக் கழுவாயாகச் செலுத்தும் பலிக்கு இடமே இல்லை.

And Jesus said: "He who has ears to hear, let him hear! "

When he was alone, those around him with the Twelve asked him about the parables. He said to them: “To you is given the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, everything is presented in the form of parables. And there are those who have received the seed in good soil: these hear the Word, they welcome it, and they bear fruit: thirty, sixty, a hundred, for one. "

the letter to the Hebrews (10, 11-18) 

In the Old Covenant, every priest, every day, stood in the holy place for liturgical service, and he offered over and over again the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.

Jesus Christ, on the contrary, after offering one single sacrifice for sins, sat forever at the right hand of God. He is now waiting for his enemies to be put under his feet. By his one dedication he has brought to perfection those whom he sanctifies forever. The Holy Spirit also testifies to us in Scripture, for after having said: This will be the Covenant that I will establish with them when those days have passed, the Lord said: I will give my laws, I will write them on their hearts and in their minds, and I will no longer remember their sins or their faults. However, when forgiveness is granted, the sin offering is no longer offered.

He said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers for his harvest. Go! But in any house you enter, say first, “Peace to this house.” If there is a friend of peace there, your peace will rest on him; otherwise, it will come back to you.
