இயேசு கோவிலுக்குள் சென்று கற்பித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும்போது தலைமைக் குருக்களும் மக்களின் மூப்பர்களும் அவரை அணுகி, “எந்த அதிகாரத்தால் நீர் இவற்றைச் செய்கிறீர்? இந்த அதிகாரத்தை உமக்குக் கொடுத்தவர் யார்?” என்று கேட்டார்கள். இயேசு அவர்களுக்கு மறுமொழியாக, “நானும் உங்களிடம் ஒரு கேள்வி கேட்கிறேன். நீங்கள் அதற்கு மறுமொழி கூறினால், எந்த அதிகாரத்தால் இவற்றைச் செய்கிறேன் என்பதை நானும் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்வேன். யோவானுக்கு, திருமுழுக்கு அளிக்கும் அதிகாரம் எங்கிருந்து வந்தது? விண்ணகத்திலிருந்தா? மனிதரிடமிருந்தா?” என்று அவர் கேட்டார்.

அவர்கள், “ ‘விண்ணகத்திலிருந்து வந்தது’ என்போமானால், ‘பின் ஏன் நீங்கள் அவரை நம்பவில்லை’ எனக் கேட்பார். ‘மனிதரிடமிருந்து’ என்போமானால், மக்கள் கூட்டத்தினருக்கு அஞ்சவேண்டியிருக்கிறது. ஏனெனில் அனைவரும் யோவானை இறைவாக்கினராகக் கருதுகின்றனர்” என்று தங்களிடையே பேசிக்கொண்டார்கள். எனவே அவர்கள் இயேசுவிடம், “எங்களுக்குத் தெரியாது” என்று பதிலுரைத்தார்கள். அவரும் அவர்களிடம், “எந்த அதிகாரத்தால் இவற்றைச் செய்கிறேன் என்று நானும் உங்களுக்குக் கூறமாட்டேன்” என்றார்.

“I also will ask you one question, and if you tell me the answer, then I also will tell you by what authority I do these things. The baptism of John, from where did it come? From heaven or from man?” And they discussed it among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven’, he will say to us, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’ But if we say, ‘From man’, we are afraid of the crowd, for they all hold that John was a prophet.” So they answered Jesus, “We do not know.” And he said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”

And the Spirit of God came upon him, and he took up his discourse and said, “The oracle of Balaam the son of Beor, the oracle of the man whose eye is opened, the oracle of him who hears the words of God, who sees the vision of the Almighty, falling down with his eyes uncovered: How lovely are your tents, O Jacob, your encampments, O Israel! Like palm groves that stretch afar, like gardens beside a river,

like aloes that the Lord has planted, like cedar trees beside the waters. Water shall flow from his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters; his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted. அவர்கள் திரும்பிச் சென்றபோது இயேசு மக்கள் கூட்டத்திடம் யோவானைப்பற்றிப் பேசத் தொடங்கினார்: “நீங்கள் எதைப் பார்க்கப் பாலைநிலத்திற்குப் போனீர்கள்? காற்றினால் அசையும் நாணலையா? இல்லையேல் யாரைப் பார்க்கப் போனீர்கள்? மெல்லிய ஆடையணிந்த ஒரு மனிதரையா? இதோ, மெல்லிய ஆடையணிந்தோர் அரச மாளிகையில் இருக்கின்றனர். பின்னர் யாரைத்தான் பார்க்கப் போனீர்கள்? இறைவாக்கினரையா? ஆம், இறைவாக்கினரைவிட மேலானவரையே என நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன்.

‘யாருக்கு என்னை ஒப்பிடுவீர்கள்? எனக்கு நிகரானவர் யார்?’ என்கிறார் தூயவர். உங்கள் கண்களை உயர்த்தி மேலே பாருங்கள்; அவற்றைப் படைத்தவர் யார்? வான் படையை எண்ணிக்கை வாரியாய் வெளிக்கொணர்ந்து ஒவ்வொன்றையும் பெயர் சொல்லி அழைப்பவர் அன்றோ? அவர் ஆற்றல்மிக்கவராயும் வலிமை வாய்ந்தவராயும் இருப்பதால் அவற்றில் ஒன்றேனும் குறைவதில்லை.

Why do you say, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel, “My way is hidden from the Lord, and my right is disregarded by my God”? Have you not known? Have you not heard? “ஆறுதல் கூறுங்கள்; என் மக்களுக்குக் கனிமொழி கூறுங்கள்” என்கிறார் உங்கள் கடவுள். எருசலேமிடம் இனிமையாய்ப் பேசி, உரத்த குரலில் அவளுக்குச் சொல்லுங்கள்; அவள் போராட்டம் நின்றுவிட்டது; அவள் குற்றம் மன்னிக்கப்பட்டது; அவள் தன் பாவங்கள் அனைத்திற்காகவும் ஆண்டவர் கையில் இருமடங்கு தண்டனை பெற்றுவிட்டாள்.

ஆறாம் மாதத்தில் கபிரியேல் என்னும் வானதூதரைக் கடவுள் கலிலேயாவிலுள்ள நாசரேத்து என்னும் ஊரிலிருந்த ஒரு கன்னியிடம் அனுப்பினார். அவர் தாவீது குடும்பத்தினராகிய யோசேப்பு என்னும் பெயருடைய ஒருவருக்கு மண ஒப்பந்தமானவர். அவர் பெயர் மரியா.

வானதூதர் மரியாவுக்குத் தோன்றி, “அருள்மிகப் பெற்றவரே வாழ்க! ஆண்டவர் உம்மோடு இருக்கிறார்” என்றார். இவ்வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்டு அவர் கலங்கி, இந்த வாழ்த்து எத்தகையதோ என்று எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருந்தார். வானதூதர் அவரைப் பார்த்து, “மரியா, அஞ்சவேண்டாம்; கடவுளின் அருளைக் கண்டடைந்துள்ளீர். இதோ, கருவுற்று ஒரு மகனைப் பெறுவீர்; அவருக்கு இயேசு என்னும் பெயரிடுவீர். அவர் பெரியவராயிருப்பார்; உன்னத கடவுளின் மகன் எனப்படுவார். அவருடைய தந்தை தாவீதின் அரியணையை ஆண்டவராகிய கடவுள் அவருக்கு அளிப்பார். அவர் யாக்கோபின் குடும்பத்தின் மீது என்றென்றும் ஆட்சி செலுத்துவார். அவருடைய ஆட்சிக்கு முடிவே இராது” என்றார்.

அதற்கு மரியா வானதூதரிடம், “இது எப்படி நிகழும்? நான் கன்னி ஆயிற்றே!” என்றார். வானதூதர் அவரிடம், “தூய ஆவி உம்மீது வரும். உன்னத கடவுளின் வல்லமை உம்மேல் நிழலிடும். ஆதலால் உம்மிடம் பிறக்கப் போகும் குழந்தை தூயது. அக்குழந்தை இறைமகன் எனப்படும். உம் உறவினராகிய எலிசபெத்தும் தம் முதிர்ந்த வயதில் ஒரு மகனைக் கருத்தரித்திருக்கிறார். கருவுற இயலாதவர் என்று சொல்லப்பட்ட அவருக்கு இது ஆறாம் மாதம். ஏனெனில், கடவுளால் இயலாதது ஒன்றுமில்லை” என்றார்.

பின்னர் மரியா, “நான் ஆண்டவரின் அடிமை; உம்சொற்படியே எனக்கு நிகழட்டும்” என்றார். அப்பொழுது வானதூதர் அவரை விட்டு அகன்றார்.

சகோதரர் சகோதரிகளே,

நம் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் தந்தையும் கடவுளுமானவர் போற்றி! அவர் விண்ணகம் சார்ந்த, ஆவிக்குரிய ஆசி அனைத்தையும் கிறிஸ்து வழியாக நம்மீது பொழிந்துள்ளார். நாம் தூயோராகவும், மாசற்றோராகவும் தம் திருமுன் விளங்கும்படி, உலகம் தோன்றுவதற்கு முன்பே கடவுள் நம்மைக் கிறிஸ்து வழியாகத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்தார். அவர் நம்மை இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் மூலம் தமக்குச் சொந்தமான பிள்ளைகளாக்கிக் கொள்ள அன்பினால் முன்குறித்து வைத்தார். இதுவே அவரது விருப்பம்; இதுவே அவரது திருவுளம். இவ்வாறு தம் அன்பார்ந்த மகன் வழியாக நம்மீது ஒப்புயர்வற்ற அருளைப் பொழிந்தருளியதால் அவரது புகழைப் பாடுகிறோம். கடவுள் தமது திருவுளத்தின் திட்டத்தின்படி அனைத்தையும் செயல்படுத்தி வருகிறார். அவரது தீர்மானத்தால் நாம் முன்குறிக்கப்பட்டு, கிறிஸ்து வழியாய் அவரது உரிமைப்பேற்றுக்கு உரியவரானோம். இவ்வாறு கிறிஸ்துவின் மேல் முதலில் நம்பிக்கை வைத்த நாங்கள் கடவுளுடைய மாட்சியைப் புகழ்ந்து பாட வேண்டுமென அவர் விரும்பினார்.

ஆண்டவராகிய கடவுள் மனிதனைக் கூப்பிட்டு, “நீ எங்கே இருக்கின்றாய்?” என்று கேட்டார். “உம் குரல் ஒலியை நான் தோட்டத்தில் கேட்டேன். ஆனால், எனக்கு அச்சமாக இருந்தது. ஏனெனில், நான் ஆடையின்றி இருந்தேன். எனவே, நான் ஒளிந்து கொண்டேன்” என்றான் மனிதன்.

ஆண்டவராகிய கடவுள், “நீ ஏன் இவ்வாறு செய்தாய்?” என்று பெண்ணைக் கேட்க, அதற்குப் பெண், “பாம்பு என்னை ஏமாற்றியது, நானும் உண்டேன்” என்றாள். ஆண்டவராகிய கடவுள் பாம்பிடம், “நீ இவ்வாறு செய்ததால், கால்நடைகள், காட்டு விலங்குகள் அனைத்திலும் சபிக்கப்பட்டிருப்பாய். உன் வயிற்றினால் ஊர்ந்து உன் வாழ்நாள் எல்லாம் புழுதியைத் தின்பாய். உனக்கும் பெண்ணுக்கும், உன் வித்துக்கும் அவள் வித்துக்கும் பகையை உண்டாக்குவேன். அவள் வித்து உன் தலையைக் காயப்படுத்தும். நீ அதன் குதிங்காலைக் காயப்படுத்துவாய்” என்றார்.

மனிதன் தன் மனைவிக்கு ‘ஏவாள்’ என்று பெயரிட்டான்; ஏனெனில் உயிருள்ளோர் எல்லாருக்கும் அவளே தாய்.

இவரைக் குறித்தே, “பாலைநிலத்தில் குரல் ஒன்று முழங்குகிறது; ஆண்டவருக்காக வழியை ஆயத்தமாக்குங்கள்; அவருக்காகப் பாதையைச் செம்மையாக்குங்கள்” என்று இறைவாக்கினர் எசாயா உரைத்துள்ளார். இந்த யோவான் ஒட்டக முடியாலான ஆடையை அணிந்திருந்தார்; தோல் கச்சையை இடையில் கட்டி இருந்தார்; வெட்டுக்கிளியும் காட்டுத் தேனும் உண்டு வந்தார். எருசலேமிலும் யூதேயா முழுவதிலும் யோர்தான் ஆற்றை அடுத்துள்ள பகுதிகள் அனைத்திலும் இருந்தவர்கள் அவரிடம் சென்றார்கள். அவர்கள் தங்கள் பாவங்களை அறிக்கையிட்டு யோர்தான் ஆற்றில் அவரிடம் திருமுழுக்குப் பெற்று வந்தார்கள்.

பரிசேயர், சதுசேயருள் பலர் தம்மிடம் திருமுழுக்குப் பெற வருவதைக் கண்டு அவர் அவர்களை நோக்கி, “விரியன் பாம்புக் குட்டிகளே, வரப்போகும் சினத்திலிருந்து தப்பிக்க இயலும் என உங்களிடம் சொன்னவர் யார்? நீங்கள் மனம் மாறியவர்கள் என்பதை அதற்கேற்ற செயல்களால் காட்டுங்கள். ‘ஆபிரகாம் எங்களுக்குத் தந்தை’ என உங்களிடையே சொல்லிப் பெருமை கொள்ள வேண்டாம். இக்கற்களிலிருந்தும் ஆபிரகாமுக்குப் பிள்ளைகளைத் தோன்றச் செய்யக் கடவுள் வல்லவர் என உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன். ஏற்கெனவே மரங்களின் வேரருகே கோடரி வைத்தாயிற்று. நற்கனி தராத மரங்கள் எல்லாம் வெட்டப்பட்டுத் தீயில் போடப்படும்.

நீங்கள் மனம் மாறுவதற்காக நான் தண்ணீரால் திருமுழுக்குக் கொடுக்கிறேன், எனக்குப் பின் ஒருவர் வருகிறார். அவர் என்னைவிட வலிமை மிக்கவர். அவருடைய மிதியடிகளைத் தூக்கிச் செல்லக்கூட எனக்குத் தகுதி இல்லை. அவர் தூய ஆவி என்னும் நெருப்பால் உங்களுக்குத் திருமுழுக்குக் கொடுப்பார். அவர் சுளகைத் தம் கையில் கொண்டு கோதுமையையும் பதரையும் பிரித்தெடுப்பார்; தம் கோதுமையைக் களஞ்சியத்தில் சேர்ப்பார்; ஆனால், பதரை அணையா நெருப்பிலிட்டுச் சுட்டெரிப்பார்” என்றார்.

முற்காலத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டவை அனைத்தும் நமக்கு அறிவுரையாகவே எழுதப்பட்டன. மறைநூல் தரும் மன உறுதியினாலும் ஊக்கத்தினாலும் நமக்கு எதிர்நோக்கு உண்டாகிறது. கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவின் முன்மாதிரிக்கு ஏற்ப நீங்கள் ஒரே மனத்தினராய் இருக்குமாறு மன உறுதியையும் ஊக்கத்தையும் தரும் கடவுள் உங்களுக்கு அருள்புரிவாராக! இவ்வாறு நீங்கள் அனைவரும் ஒருமனப்பட்டு, நம் ஆண்டவர் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் கடவுளும் தந்தையுமானவரை ஒருவாய்ப்படப் போற்றிப் புகழ்வீர்கள்.

ஆகையால், கிறிஸ்து உங்களை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டது போல நீங்களும் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள். அப்போது கடவுளைப் பெருமைப்படுத்துவீர்கள். என் கருத்து இதுவே. கடவுள் உண்மையுள்ளவர் என்பதைக் காட்டுமாறு கிறிஸ்து விருத்தசேதனம் செய்துகொண்டவர்களுக்குத் தொண்டர் ஆனார். மூதாதையருக்குத் தரப்பட்ட வாக்குறுதிகளை உறுதிப்படுத்தவும், பிற இனத்தார் கடவுளுடைய இரக்கத்தைப் பார்த்து அவரைப் போற்றிப் புகழவும் இவ்வாறு தொண்டர் ஆனார். ஆகவே, “பிற இனத்தாரிடையே உம்மைப் போற்றுவேன்; உமது பெயருக்குப் புகழ்மாலை சாற்றுவேன்” என இதைக் குறித்து மறைநூலில் எழுதியுள்ளது.

For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah when he said, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; make his paths straight.’” Now John wore a garment of camel’s hair and a leather belt round his waist,

and his food was locusts and wild honey. Then Jerusalem and all Judea and all the region about the Jordan were going out to him, and they were baptised by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins. But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bear fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not presume to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father’, for I tell you, God is able from these stones to raise up children for Abraham. Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. “I baptise you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. அக்காலத்தில்

இயேசு நகர்கள், சிற்றூர்கள் எல்லாம் சுற்றிவந்தார். எங்கும் அவர்களுடைய தொழுகைக்கூடங்களில் கற்பித்தார்; விண்ணரசைப் பற்றிய நற்செய்தியைப் பறைசாற்றினார்; நோய் நொடிகள் அனைத்தையும் குணமாக்கினார்.

திரண்டிருந்த மக்களை அவர் கண்டபோது அவர்கள் மேல் பரிவு கொண்டார்; அவர்கள் ஆயர் இல்லா ஆடுகளைப்போல அலைக்கழிக்கப்பட்டு சோர்ந்து காணப்பட்டார்கள். அப்பொழுது அவர் தம் சீடரை நோக்கி, “அறுவடை மிகுதி; வேலையாள்களோ குறைவு. ஆகையால் தேவையான வேலையாள்களைத் தமது அறுவடைக்கு அனுப்பும்படி அறுவடையின் உரிமையாளரிடம் மன்றாடுங்கள்” என்றார்.

இயேசு தம் சீடர் பன்னிருவரையும் தம்மிடம் வரவழைத்தார். தீய ஆவிகளை ஓட்டவும், நோய் நொடிகளைக் குணமாக்கவும் அவர்களுக்கு அதிகாரம் அளித்தார்.

இயேசு பன்னிருவருக்கும் அறிவுரையாகக் கூறியது: “வழி தவறிப்போன ஆடுகளான இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களிடமே செல்லுங்கள். அப்படிச் செல்லும்போது ‘விண்ணரசு நெருங்கி வந்துவிட்டது’ எனப் பறைசாற்றுங்கள். நலம் குன்றியவர்களைக் குணமாக்குங்கள்; இறந்தோரை உயிர் பெற்றெழச் செய்யுங்கள்; தொழுநோயாளரை நலமாக்குங்கள்; பேய்களை ஓட்டுங்கள்; கொடையாகப் பெற்றீர்கள்; கொடையாகவே வழங்குங்கள்.”

இஸ்ரயேலின் தூயவராம் ஆண்டவராகிய இறைவன் கூறுவது:

சீயோன்வாழ் மக்களே, எருசலேமில் குடியிருப்போரே, நீங்கள் இனி ஒருபோதும் அழமாட்டீர்கள்; அவர் உங்கள்மேல் திண்ணமாய் அருள்கூர்வார். நீங்கள் கூப்பிடும் குரலுக்குச் செவிசாய்த்து உங்களுக்கு மறுமொழி அளிப்பார்.

கோட்டைகள் இடிந்து விழுகின்ற மிகப்பெரும் அழிவு நாளில் வானளாவிய மலைகள் அனைத்தின் மேலும் உயர்ந்த குன்றுகள் அனைத்தின் மேலும் கால்வாய்களும் நீரோடைகளும் தோன்றும். ஆண்டவர் தம் மக்களின் முறிவுகளைக் கட்டி, தாம் அடித்து ஏற்படுத்திய காயங்களைக் குணமாக்கும் நாளில், நிலவின் ஒளி கதிரவன் ஒளிபோலாகும்; கதிரவன் ஒளி ஏழு பகல்களின் ஒளி ஒன்றுதிரண்டாற் போல ஏழு மடங்காகும்.

The harvest is rich but the labourers are few

A reading from the Holy Gospel according to St.Matthew 9:35-10:1,5,6-8 

At that time: Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every infirmity. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest.” And he called to him his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every affliction. These twelve Jesus sent out, instructing them, “But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And proclaim as you go, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying; give without pay.”

A reading from the book of Isaiah 30:19-21,23-26 

Thus says the Lord God, the Holy one of Israel: For a people shall dwell in Sion, in Jerusalem; you shall weep no more. He will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry. As soon as he hears it, he answers you. And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your Teacher will not hide himself any more, but your eyes shall see your Teacher. And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it”, when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left. And he will give rain for the seed with which you sow the ground, and bread, the produce of the ground, which will be rich and plenteous. In that day your livestock will graze in large pastures, and the oxen and the donkeys that work the ground will eat seasoned fodder, which has been winnowed with shovel and fork. And on every lofty mountain and every high hill there will be brooks running with water, in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.

Moreover, the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day when the Lord binds up the brokenness of his people, and heals the wounds inflicted by his blow.

இயேசு தம் சொந்த ஊரை விட்டு வெளியே சென்றபோது பார்வையற்றோர் இருவர், “தாவீதின் மகனே, எங்களுக்கு இரங்கும்” என்று கத்திக்கொண்டே அவரைப் பின்தொடர்ந்தனர். அவர் வீடு வந்து சேர்ந்ததும் அந்தப் பார்வையற்றோரும் அவரிடம் வந்தனர். இயேசு அவர்களைப் பார்த்து, “நான் இதைச் செய்ய முடியும் என நம்புகிறீர்களா?” என்று கேட்டார். அதற்கு அவர்கள், “ஆம், ஐயா” என்றார்கள். பின்பு அவர் அவர்களின் கண்களைத் தொட்டு, “நீங்கள் நம்பியபடியே உங்களுக்கு நிகழட்டும்” என்றார். உடனே அவர்களின் கண்கள் திறந்தன. இயேசு அவர்களை நோக்கி, “யாரும் இதை அறியாதபடி பார்த்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள்” என்று மிகக் கண்டிப்பாகக் கூறினார். ஆனால் அவர்கள் வெளியே போய் நாடெங்கும் அவரைப் பற்றிய செய்தியைப் பரப்பினார்கள்.

இறைவனாகிய ஆண்டவர் கூறுவது: இன்னும் சிறிது காலத்தில் லெபனோன் வளம்மிகு தோட்டமாக மாறுமன்றோ? வளம்மிகு நிலம் காடாக ஆகிவிடுமன்றோ? அந்நாளில் காது கேளாதோர் ஏட்டுச் சுருளின் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்பர்; பார்வையற்றோரின் கண்கள் காரிருளில் இருந்தும் மையிருளில் இருந்தும் விடுதலையாகிப் பார்வை பெறும். ஒடுக்கப்பட்டோர் மீண்டும் ஆண்டவரில் மகிழ்ச்சி பெறுவர்; மானிடரில் வறியவர் இஸ்ரயேலின் தூயவரில் அகமகிழ்வர். கொடியோர் இல்லாதொழிவர்; இகழ்வோர் இல்லாமற் போவர்; தீமையில் நாட்டம் கொள்வோர் அழிந்து போவர். அவர்கள் ஒருவர்மேல் பொய்க் குற்றம் சாட்டி, நீதிமன்றத்தில் தீர்ப்பு வழங்குவோரை இடறச் செய்கின்றனர்; பொய் புனைந்து நேர்மையாளரின் வழக்கைப் புரட்டுகின்றனர்.

ஆதலால் ஆபிரகாமை மீட்ட ஆண்டவர் யாக்கோபு வீட்டாரைப்பற்றிக் கூறுவது: இனி யாக்கோபு மானக்கேடு அடைவதில்லை; அவன் முகம் இனி வெளிறிப் போவதுமில்லை. அவன் பிள்ளைகள் என் பெயரைத் தூயதெனப் போற்றுவர்; நான் செய்யவிருக்கும் என் கைவேலைப் பாடுகளைக் காணும்போது யாக்கோபின் தூயவரைத் தூயவராகப் போற்றுவர்; இஸ்ரயேலின் கடவுள்முன் அஞ்சி நிற்பர். தவறிழைக்கும் சிந்தைகொண்டோர் உணர்வடைவர்; முறுமுறுப்போர் அறிவுரையை ஏற்றுக்கொள்வர்.
