A Reading From The Holy Gospel According To John (14, 7-14) 

At that time, Jesus said to his disciples: “Since you know me, you will also know my Father. From now on you know him, and you have seen him. »Philip said to him:« Lord, show us the Father; that is enough for us. "Jesus answered him:" I have been with you for so long, and you do not know me, Philip! He who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, “Show us the Father”? A Reading from the book of Acts of the Apostles (13, 44-52) 

On the Sabbath following Paul's first sermon in Antioch in Pisidia, almost the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord. When the Jews saw the crowds, they were inflamed with jealousy; they contradicted Paul's words and cursed him. Paul and Barnabas confidently declared to them: “It is to you first of all that it is necessary to address the word of God. Since you reject it and yourselves do not deem yourselves worthy of eternal life, well! we look to the heathen nations. This is the command that the Lord has given us: I have made you the light of the nations so that, thanks to you, salvation may reach the ends of the earth. Hearing this, the Gentiles rejoiced and gave glory to the word of the Lord; all who were destined for eternal life became believers. Thus the word of the Lord spread throughout the region.

But the Jews caused a stir among the good women worshiping God, and among the notables of the city; They began to pursue Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them from their territory. These shook off the dust from their feet against them and went to Iconium, while the disciples were filled with joy and the Holy Spirit.

தோமா அவரிடம், “ஆண்டவரே, நீர் எங்கே போகிறீர் என்றே எங்களுக்குத் தெரியாது. அப்படியிருக்க நீர் போகுமிடத்துக்கான வழியை நாங்கள் எப்படித் தெரிந்துகொள்ள இயலும்?” என்றார். இயேசு அவரிடம், “வழியும் உண்மையும் வாழ்வும் நானே. என் வழியாய் அன்றி எவரும் தந்தையிடம் வருவதில்லை” என்றார்.

அந்நாள்களில்

ஆனால் இறந்த அவரைக் கடவுள் உயிரோடு எழுப்பினார். அவர் கலிலேயாவிலிருந்து தம்முடன் எருசலேம் வந்தவர்களுக்குப் பல நாள்கள் தோன்றினார். அவர்கள் இப்போது அவர்தம் சாட்சிகளாக மக்கள் முன் விளங்குகின்றார்கள். இயேசுவைக் கடவுள் உயிர்த்தெழச் செய்ததன் வழியாக மூதாதையருக்கு அளித்த வாக்குறுதியை அவர்கள் பிள்ளை களாகிய நமக்கென நிறைவேற்றினார். இதுவே நாங்கள் உங்களுக்கு அறிவிக்கும் நற்செய்தி. இதுபற்றி இரண்டாம் திருப்பாடலில்,

‘நீரே என் மகன், இன்று நான் உம்மை ஈன்றெடுத்தேன்’ என்று எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளது.”

A Reading From The Holy Gospel According To John (14, 1-6) 

At that time, Jesus said to his disciples: “Let not your heart be moved: you believe in God, believe in me also. In my Father's house there are many mansions; if not, would I have said to you: “I am going to prepare a place for you”? When I have left to prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to me, so that where I am, you too will be. To go where I'm going, you know the way.
