At that time, his eyes raised to heaven, Jesus prayed thus: “Holy Father, I do not pray only for those who are there, but also for those who, thanks to their word, will believe in me. May all be one, like you, Father, you are in me, and I in you. May they be one in us, too, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. And I, I gave them the glory that you gave me, so that they may be one as we are ONE: I in them, and you in me. May they thus become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me, and that you loved them as you loved me.
