_ஒடுக்கப்பட்டோர் மீண்டும் ஆண்டவரில் மகிழ்ச்சி பெறுவர்;_

*இறைவாக்கினர் எசாயா நூலிலிருந்து வாசகம் 29: 17-24*

இறைவனாகிய ஆண்டவர் கூறுவது: இன்னும் சிறிது காலத்தில் லெபனோன் வளம்மிகு தோட்டமாக மாறுமன்றோ? வளம்மிகு நிலம் காடாக ஆகிவிடுமன்றோ? அந்நாளில் காது கேளாதோர் ஏட்டுச் சுருளின் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்பர்; பார்வையற்றோரின் கண்கள் காரிருளில் இருந்தும் மையிருளில் இருந்தும் விடுதலையாகிப் பார்வை பெறும். ஒடுக்கப்பட்டோர் மீண்டும் ஆண்டவரில் மகிழ்ச்சி பெறுவர்; மானிடரில் வறியவர் இஸ்ரயேலின் தூயவரில் அகமகிழ்வர். கொடியோர் இல்லாதொழிவர்; இகழ்வோர் இல்லாமற் போவர்; தீமையில் நாட்டம் கொள்வோர் அழிந்து போவர். அவர்கள் ஒருவர்மேல் பொய்க் குற்றம் சாட்டி, நீதிமன்றத்தில் தீர்ப்பு வழங்குவோரை இடறச் செய்கின்றனர்; பொய் புனைந்து நேர்மையாளரின் வழக்கைப் புரட்டுகின்றனர். ஆதலால் ஆபிரகாமை மீட்ட ஆண்டவர் யாக்கோபு வீட்டாரைப்பற்றிக் கூறுவது: இனி யாக்கோபு மானக்கேடு அடைவதில்லை; அவன் முகம் இனி வெளிறிப் போவதுமில்லை. அவன் பிள்ளைகள் என் பெயரைத் தூயதெனப் போற்றுவர்; நான் செய்யவிருக்கும் என் கைவேலைப் பாடுகளைக் காணும்போது யாக்கோபின் தூயவரைத் தூயவராகப் போற்றுவர்; இஸ்ரயேலின் கடவுள்முன் அஞ்சி நிற்பர். தவறிழைக்கும் சிந்தைகொண்டோர் உணர்வடைவர்; முறுமுறுப்போர் அறிவுரையை ஏற்றுக்கொள்வர். 

இது ஆண்டவர் வழங்கும் அருள்வாக்கு.

For if I preach the Gospel, it is not glory for me. For an obligation has been laid upon me. And woe to me, if I do not preach the Gospel. For if I do this willingly, I have a reward. But if I do this reluctantly, a dispensation is granted to me. And what, then, would be my reward? So, when preaching the Gospel, I should give the Gospel without taking, so that I may not misuse my authority in the Gospel. For when I was a free man to all, I made myself the servant of all, so that I might gain all the more.

To the weak, I became weak, so that I might gain the weak. To all, I became all, so that I might save all. And I do everything for the sake of the Gospel, so that I may become its partner.

He has sent me to bring good news to the meek, so as to heal the contrite of heart, to preach leniency to captives and release to the confined, 2and so to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord and the day of vindication of our God: to console all who are mourning, 3to take up the mourners of Zion and to give them a crown in place of ashes, an oil of joy in place of mourning, a cloak of praise in place of a spirit of grief. அக்காலத்தில் 

இயேசு பதினொருவருக்கும் தோன்றி, “உலகெங்கும் சென்று படைப்பிற்கெல்லாம் நற்செய்தியைப் பறைசாற்றுங்கள். நம்பிக்கை கொண்டு திருமுழுக்குப் பெறுவோர் மீட்புப் பெறுவர்; நம்பிக்கையற்றவரோ தண்டனைத் தீர்ப்புப் பெறுவர். நம்பிக்கை கொண்டோர் பின்வரும் அரும் அடையாளங்களைச் செய்வர்: அவர்கள் என் பெயரால் பேய்களை ஓட்டுவர்; புதிய மொழிகளைப் பேசுவர்; பாம்புகளைத் தம் கையால் பிடிப்பர். கொல்லும் நஞ்சைக் குடித்தாலும் அது அவர்களுக்குத் தீங்கு இழைக்காது. அவர்கள் உடல் நலமற்றோர்மீது கைகளை வைக்க, அவர்கள் குணமடைவர்” என்று கூறினார். 

இவ்வாறு அவர்களோடு பேசிய பின்பு, ஆண்டவர் இயேசு விண்ணேற்றமடைந்து கடவுளின் வலப்புறம் அமர்ந்தார். அவர்கள் புறப்பட்டுச் சென்று எங்கும் நற்செய்தியைப் பறைசாற்றினர். ஆண்டவரும் உடனிருந்து செயல்பட்டு, நிகழ்ந்த அரும்அடையாளங்களால் அவர்களுடைய வார்த்தையை உறுதிப்படுத்தினார்.

சகோதரர் சகோதரிகளே, 

நான் நற்செய்தியை அறிவிக்கிறேன் என்றாலும் அதில் நான் பெருமைப்பட ஒன்றுமில்லை. இதைச் செய்ய வேண்டிய கட்டாயம் எனக்கு உள்ளது. நற்செய்தியை அறிவிக்காவிடில் ஐயோ எனக்குக் கேடு! இதை நானாக விரும்பிச் செய்தால் எனக்குக் கைம்மாறு உண்டு. நானாக விரும்பாவிட்டாலும் இது என்னிடம் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள பொறுப்பாக இருக்கிறது. அப்படியானால், எனக்குக் கைம்மாறு என்ன? உங்களுக்கு எச்செலவுமின்றி நற்செய்தியை அறிவிப்பதிலுள்ள மனநிறைவே அக்கைம்மாறு; நான் நற்செய்தி அறிவிப்போருக்குரிய உரிமையைக் கொஞ்சம் கூடப் பயன்படுத்திக்கொள்ளவில்லை. 

நான் யாருக்கும் அடிமையாய் இல்லாதிருந்தும் பலரைக் கிறிஸ்துவிடம் கொண்டுவர என்னை எல்லாருக்கும் அடிமையாக்கிக் கொண்டேன். வலுவற்றவர்களைக் கிறிஸ்துவிடம் கொண்டுவர வலுவற்றவர்களுக்கு வலுவற்றவனானேன். எப்படியாவது ஒரு சிலரையேனும் மீட்கும்படி நான் எல்லாருக்கும் எல்லாமானேன். நற்செய்தியால் வரும் ஆசியில் பங்கு பெறவேண்டி நற்செய்திக்காக எல்லாவற்றையும் செய்கிறேன்.

Jesus went on from there and reached the shores of the Lake of Galilee, and he went up onto the mountain. He took his seat, and large crowds came to him bringing the lame, the crippled, the blind, the dumb and many others; these they put down at his feet, and he cured them. The crowds were astonished to see the dumb speaking, the cripples whole again, the lame walking and the blind with their sight, and they praised the God of Israel. But Jesus called his disciples to him and said, 'I feel sorry for all these people; they have been with me for three days now and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them off hungry, or they might collapse on the way.' The disciples said to him, 'Where in a deserted place could we get sufficient bread for such a large crowd to have enough to eat?' Jesus said to them, 'How many loaves have you?' They said, 'Seven, and a few small fish.' Then he instructed the crowd to sit down on the ground, and he took the seven loaves and the fish, and after giving thanks he broke them and began handing them to the disciples, who gave them to the crowds. They all ate as much as they wanted, and they collected what was left of the scraps, seven baskets full.
