இவர் தச்சருடைய மகன் அல்லவா? எங்கிருந்து இந்த ஞானம் இவருக்கு வந்தது?

மத்தேயு எழுதிய நற்செய்தியிலிருந்து வாசகம் 13: 54-58

அக்காலத்தில்

இயேசு தமது சொந்த ஊருக்கு வந்து அங்குள்ள தொழுகைக்கூடத்தில் அவர்களுக்குக் கற்பித்தார். அதைக் கேட்டவர்கள் வியப்பில் ஆழ்ந்தார்கள். அவர்கள், “எங்கிருந்து இந்த ஞானம் இவருக்கு வந்தது? எப்படி இந்த வல்ல செயல்களைச் செய்கிறார்? இவர் தச்சருடைய மகன் அல்லவா? இவருடைய தாய் மரியா என்பவர்தானே? யாக்கோபு, யோசேப்பு, சீமோன், யூதா ஆகியோர் இவருடைய சகோதரர் அல்லவா? இவர் சகோதரிகள் எல்லாரும் நம்மோடு இருக்கிறார்கள் அல்லவா? பின் இவருக்கு இவையெல்லாம் எங்கிருந்து வந்தன?” என்றார்கள். இவ்வாறு அவரை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள அவர்கள் தயங்கினார்கள்.

இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “தம் சொந்த ஊரிலும் வீட்டிலும் தவிர மற்றெங்கும் இறைவாக்கினர் மதிப்புப் பெறுவர்” என்றார். அவர்களுக்கு நம்பிக்கை இல்லாததால் அவர் அங்குப் பல வல்ல செயல்களைச் செய்யவில்லை.

4.காரணமில்லாமல் என்னை வெறுப்போர் என் தலைமுடியை விட மிகுதியாய் இருக்கின்றனர்; பொய்க் குற்றம் சாட்டி என்னைத் தாக்குவோர் பெருகிவிட்டனர். நான் திருடாததை எப்படித் திருப்பித் தரமுடியும்? - பல்லவி

7.ஏனெனில், உம் பொருட்டே நான் இழிவை ஏற்றேன்; வெட்கக்கேடு என் முகத்தை மூடிவிட்டது.

8.என் சகோதரருக்கு வேற்று மனிதன் ஆனேன்; என் தாயின் பிள்ளைகளுக்கு அயலான் ஆனேன்.

9.உமது இல்லத்தின்மீது எனக்குண்டான ஆர்வம் என்னை எரித்துவிட்டது; உம்மைப் பழித்துப் பேசினவர்களின் பழிச் சொற்கள் என்மீது விழுந்தன. - பல்லவி

ஆண்டவர் இல்லத்திலேயே மக்கள் எல்லாரும் எரேமியாவைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டனர்.

இறைவாக்கினர் எரேமியா நூலிலிருந்து வாசகம் 26: 1-9

யோசியாவின் மகனும் யூதாவின் அரசனுமான யோயாக்கிமுடைய ஆட்சியின் தொடக்கத்தில் ஆண்டவர் அருளிய வாக்கு:

“ஆண்டவர் இவ்வாறு கூறுகிறார்: ‘நீ ஆண்டவர் இல்லத்தின் முற்றத்தில் நின்றுகொண்டு, அங்கு வழிபாடு செலுத்த வரும் யூதாவின் எல்லா நகரினர்க்கும் சொல்லுமாறு நான் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிடும் எல்லாச் சொற்களையும் நீ அவர்களுக்கு அறிவி; அவற்றில் ஒன்றையும் விட்டுவிடாதே. ஒருவேளை அவர்கள் உனக்குச் செவிசாய்த்து அவரவர் தம் தீய வழிகளை விட்டுத் திரும்பலாம். அப்பொழுது அவர்களுடைய தீச்செயல்களை முன்னிட்டு அவர்களுக்கு நான் அளிக்க எண்ணியுள்ள தண்டனை பற்றி என் மனத்தை மாற்றிக்கொள்வேன்'.

நீ அவர்களிடம் சொல்ல வேண்டியது: ‘ஆண்டவர் கூறுவது இதுவே: நீங்கள் எனக்குச் செவிகொடாமலும், உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்திருக்கும் என் சட்டத்தின்படி நடவாமலும், நீங்கள் செவிசாய்க்காதபொழுதும், நான் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் உங்களிடம் அனுப்பிவைக்கும் என் ஊழியர்களான இறைவாக்கினர்களுடைய சொற்களைக் கேளாமலும் இருப்பீர்களாகில், இக்கோவிலைச் சீலோவைப்போல் ஆக்குவேன்; இந்நகரை உலகில் எல்லா மக்களினத்தார் நடுவிலும் சாபக்குறியாக மாற்றுவேன்."

ஆண்டவர் இல்லத்தில் எரேமியா உரைத்த இச்சொற்களைக் குருக்களும் இறைவாக்கினரும் மக்கள் அனைவரும் கேட்டனர். மக்கள் அனைவருக்கும் சொல்லும்படி ஆண்டவர் கட்டளையிட்டிருந்த எல்லாவற்றையும் எரேமியா கூறிமுடித்தபோது, குருக்களும் இறைவாக்கினரும் மக்கள் அனைவரும் அவரைப் பிடித்து, “நீ கண்டிப்பாய்ச் சாகவேண்டும்” என்று கூச்சலிட்டனர். “இக்கோவில் சீலோவைப் போல் மாறும்; இந்நகர் குடியிருப்பாரற்றுப் பாழாய்ப்போகும் என்று ஆண்டவரின் பெயரால் நீ ஏன் இறைவாக்கு உரைத்தாய்?” என்று கூறி, ஆண்டவர் இல்லத்திலேயே மக்கள் எல்லாரும் எரேமியாவைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டனர்.

At that time: Coming to his home town Jesus taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said, “Where did this man get this wisdom and these mighty works? Is not this the carpenter’s son? Is not his mother called Mary? And are not his brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas? And are not all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?” And they took offence at him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honour except in his home town and in his own household.” And he did not do many mighty works there, because of their unbelief.

It is for you that I suffer taunts, that shame has covered my face. To my own kin I have become an outcast, a stranger to the children of my mother. Zeal for your house consumes me, and taunts against you fall on me.

A Reading from the Book of the Prophet Jeremiah 26: 1-9

In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, this word came from the Lord: “Thus says the Lord: Stand in the court of the Lord’s house, and speak to all the cities of Judah that come to worship in the house of the Lord all the words that I command you to speak to them; do not hold back a word. It may be they will listen, and every one turn from his evil way, that I may relent of the disaster that I intend to do to them because of their evil deeds. You shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord: If you will not listen to me, to walk in my law that I have set before you, and to listen to the words of my servants the prophets whom I send to you urgently, though you have not listened, then I will make this house like Shiloh, and I will make this city a curse for all the nations of the earth.’” The priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the Lord. And when Jeremiah had finished speaking all that the Lord had commanded him to speak to all the people, then the priests and the prophets and all the people laid hold of him, saying, “You shall die! Why have you prophesied in the name of the Lord, saying, ‘This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate, without inhabitant’?” And all the people gathered around Jeremiah in the house of the Lord.
