நற்செய்தி வாசகம் 

உன் தம்பி இவன் இறந்துபோயிருந்தான்; மீண்டும் உயிர்பெற்றுள்ளான். 

✠ லூக்கா எழுதிய நற்செய்தியிலிருந்து வாசகம் 15: 1-3, 11-32, 

அக்காலத்தில் 

வரிதண்டுவோர், பாவிகள் யாவரும் இயேசு சொல்வதைக் கேட்க அவரிடம் நெருங்கி வந்தனர். பரிசேயரும், மறைநூல் அறிஞரும், “இவர் பாவிகளை வரவேற்று அவர்களோடு உணவருந்துகிறாரே” என்று முணுமுணுத்தனர். அப்போது அவர் அவர்களுக்கு இந்த உவமையைச் சொன்னார்: 

“ஒருவருக்கு இரண்டு புதல்வர்கள் இருந்தார்கள். அவர்களுள் இளையவர் தந்தையை நோக்கி, ‘அப்பா, சொத்தில் எனக்கு உரிய பங்கைத் தாரும்’ என்றார். அவர் சொத்தை அவர்களுக்குப் பகிர்ந்து அளித்தார். சில நாள்களுக்குள் இளைய மகன் எல்லாவற்றையும் திரட்டிக்கொண்டு, தொலைநாட்டிற்கு நெடும் பயணம் மேற்கொண்டார்; அங்குத் தாறுமாறாக வாழ்ந்து தம் சொத்தையும் பாழாக்கினார். அனைத்தையும் அவர் செலவழித்தார். 

பின்பு அந்த நாடு முழுவதும் கொடிய பஞ்சம் ஏற்பட்டது. அப்பொழுது அவர் வறுமையில் வாடினார்; எனவே அந்நாட்டுக் குடிமக்களுள் ஒருவரிடம் அண்டிப் பிழைக்கச் சென்றார். அவர் அவரைப் பன்றி மேய்க்கத் தம் வயல்களுக்கு அனுப்பினார். அவர் பன்றிகள் தின்னும் நெற்றுகளால் தம் வயிற்றை நிரப்ப விரும்பினார். ஆனால் அதைக்கூட அவருக்குக் கொடுப்பார் இல்லை. 

அவர் அறிவு தெளிந்தவராய், ‘என் தந்தையின் கூலியாள்களுக்குத் தேவைக்கு மிகுதியான உணவு இருக்க, நான் இங்குப் பசியால் சாகிறேனே! நான் புறப்பட்டு என் தந்தையிடம் போய், அப்பா, கடவுளுக்கும் உமக்கும் எதிராக நான் பாவம் செய்தேன்; இனிமேல் நான் உம்முடைய மகன் எனப்படத் தகுதியற்றவன்; உம்முடைய கூலியாள்களுள் ஒருவனாக என்னை வைத்துக்கொள்ளும் என்பேன்’ என்று சொல்லிக்கொண்டார். உடனே அவர் புறப்பட்டுத் தம் தந்தையிடம் வந்தார். 

தொலையில் வந்துகொண்டிருந்தபோதே அவர் தந்தை அவரைக் கண்டு, பரிவு கொண்டு, ஓடிப்போய் அவரைக் கட்டித் தழுவி முத்தமிட்டார். மகனோ அவரிடம், ‘அப்பா, கடவுளுக்கும் உமக்கும் எதிராக நான் பாவம் செய்தேன்; இனிமேல் நான் உம்முடைய மகன் எனப்படத் தகுதியற்றவன்’ என்றார். 

தந்தை தம் பணியாளரை நோக்கி, ‘முதல் தரமான ஆடையைக் கொண்டுவந்து இவனுக்கு உடுத்துங்கள்; இவனுடைய கைக்கு மோதிரமும் காலுக்கு மிதியடியும் அணிவியுங்கள்; கொழுத்த கன்றைக் கொண்டுவந்து அடியுங்கள்; நாம் மகிழ்ந்து விருந்துகொண்டாடுவோம். ஏனெனில் என் மகன் இவன் இறந்துபோயிருந்தான்; மீண்டும் உயிர்பெற்று வந்துள்ளான். காணாமற் போயிருந்தான்; மீண்டும் கிடைத்துள்ளான்’ என்றார். அவர்கள் மகிழ்ந்து விருந்து கொண்டாடத் தொடங்கினார்கள். 

அப்போது மூத்த மகன் வயலில் இருந்தார். அவர் திரும்பி வீட்டை நெருங்கி வந்துகொண்டிருந்தபோது, ஆடல் பாடல்களைக் கேட்டு, ஊழியர்களுள் ஒருவரை வரவழைத்து, ‘இதெல்லாம் என்ன?’ என்று வினவினார். அதற்கு ஊழியர் அவரிடம், ‘உம் தம்பி வந்திருக்கிறார். அவர் தம்மிடம் நலமாகத் திரும்பி வந்திருப்பதால் உம் தந்தை கொழுத்த கன்றை அடித்திருக்கிறார்’ என்றார். அவர் சினமுற்று உள்ளே போக விருப்பம் இல்லாதிருந்தார். உடனே அவருடைய தந்தை வெளியே வந்து, அவரை உள்ளே வருமாறு கெஞ்சிக் கேட்டார். அதற்கு அவர் தந்தையிடம், ‘பாரும், இத்தனை ஆண்டுகளாக நான் அடிமைபோன்று உமக்கு வேலை செய்து வருகிறேன். உம் கட்டளைகளை ஒருபோதும் மீறியதில்லை. ஆயினும், என் நண்பரோடு நான் மகிழ்ந்து கொண்டாட ஓர் ஆட்டுக் குட்டியைக்கூட என்றுமே நீர் தந்ததில்லை. ஆனால் விலைமகளிரோடு சேர்ந்து உம் சொத்துக்களையெல்லாம் அழித்துவிட்ட இந்த உம் மகன் திரும்பி வந்தவுடனே, இவனுக்காகக் கொழுத்த கன்றை அடித்திருக்கிறீரே!’ என்றார். 

அதற்குத் தந்தை, ‘மகனே, நீ எப்போதும் என்னுடன் இருக்கிறாய்; என்னுடையதெல்லாம் உன்னுடையதே. இப்போது நாம் மகிழ்ந்து கொண்டாடி இன்புற வேண்டும். ஏனெனில் உன் தம்பி இவன் இறந்து போயிருந்தான்; மீண்டும் உயிர்பெற்றுள்ளான். காணாமற் போயிருந்தான்; மீண்டும் கிடைத்துள்ளான்’ என்றார்.”

நம் பாவங்கள் அனைத்தையும் ஆழ்கடலில் எறிந்துவிடுவார். 

இறைவாக்கினர் மீக்கா நூலிலிருந்து வாசகம் 7: 14-15, 18-20 

ஆண்டவரே, உமது உரிமைச் சொத்தாய் இருக்கும் மந்தையாகிய உம்முடைய மக்களை உமது கோலினால் மேய்த்தருளும்! அவர்கள் கர்மேலின் நடுவே காட்டில் தனித்து வாழ்கின்றார்களே! முற்காலத்தில் நடந்ததுபோல அவர்கள் பாசானிலும் கிலயாதிலும் மேயட்டும்! எகிப்து நாட்டிலிருந்து நீங்கள் புறப்பட்டு வந்த நாளில் நடந்தது போல நான் அவர்களுக்கு வியத்தகு செயல்களைக் காண்பிப்பேன். 

உமக்கு நிகரான இறைவன் யார்? எஞ்சியிருப்போரின் குற்றத்தைப் பொறுத்து, நீர் உமது உரிமைச் சொத்தில் எஞ்சியிருப்போரின் தீச்செயலை மன்னிக்கின்றீர்; உமக்கு நிகரானவர் யார்? அவர் தம் சினத்தில் என்றென்றும் நிலைத்திரார்; ஏனெனில், அவர் பேரன்புகூர்வதில் விருப்பமுடையவர்; 

அவர் நம்மீது இரக்கம் காட்டுவார்; நம் தீச்செயல்களை மிதித்துப் போடுவார்; நம் பாவங்கள் அனைத்தையும் ஆழ்கடலில் எறிந்துவிடுவார். பண்டைய நாளில் எங்கள் மூதாதையருக்கு நீர் ஆணையிட்டுக் கூறியது போல யாக்கோபுக்கு வாக்குப் பிறழாமையையும் ஆபிரகாமுக்குப் பேரன்பையும் காட்டியருள்வீர்.

A Reading From The Holy Gospel According To Luke (15, 1-3. 11-32) 

At that time, tax collectors and sinners all came to Jesus to listen to him. The Pharisees and the scribes complained against him: "This man welcomes sinners, and he eats with them!" "Then Jesus told them this parable:" A man had two sons. The youngest said to his father: “Father, give me my share of the fortune.” And the father divided his possessions to them.

A few days later, the youngest gathered all he had, and left for a distant country where he squandered his fortune by leading a life of disorder. He had spent it all, when a great famine struck this land, and he began to be in need. He went to work with an inhabitant of this country, who sent him to his fields to keep pigs. He would have liked to fill his stomach with the pods the pigs ate, but no one gave him anything. Then he came to himself and said to himself: “How many of my father's workers have bread in abundance, and I, here, am starving! I will rise up and go to my father and say to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son. "You will cast all our sins to the bottom of the sea!"  

Reading from the book of the prophet Micah (7, 14-15. 18-20) 

Lord, with your staff, be the shepherd of your people, of the flock which belongs to you, which remains isolated in the bush, surrounded by orchards. May he find his pasture in Bashane and Gilead, as in the days of old! As in the days when you left Egypt, you will show him wonders!

Who is God like you, to remove the crime, to pass over the revolt as you do with regard to the rest, your inheritance: a God who does not persist forever in his anger but likes to show his favor ? Once again you will show us your mercy, you will trample our crimes under foot, you will cast all our sins to the bottom of the sea! So you give Jacob your faithfulness, Abraham your favor, as you swore to our fathers from the days of old.

அக்காலத்தில்

இயேசு தலைமைக் குருக்களையும் மக்களின் மூப்பர்களையும் நோக்கிக் கூறியது: “மேலும் ஓர் உவமையைக் கேளுங்கள்; நிலக்கிழார் ஒருவர் ஒரு திராட்சைத் தோட்டம் போட்டு, சுற்றிலும் வேலி அடைத்து அதில் பிழிவுக் குழி வெட்டி ஒரு காவல் மாடமும் கட்டினார்; பின்பு தோட்டத் தொழிலாளர்களிடம் அதைக் குத்தகைக்கு விட்டுவிட்டு நெடும் பயணம் மேற்கொண்டார்.

பழம் பறிக்கும் காலம் நெருங்கி வந்தபோது அவர் தமக்குச் சேர வேண்டிய பழங்களைப் பெற்று வரும்படி தம் பணியாளர்களை அத்தோட்டத் தொழிலாளர்களிடம் அனுப்பினார். தோட்டத் தொழிலாளர்களோ அவருடைய பணியாளர்களைப் பிடித்து, ஒருவரை நையப் புடைத்தார்கள்; ஒருவரைக் கொலை செய்தார்கள்; ஒருவரைக் கல்லால் எறிந்தார்கள். மீண்டும் அவர் முதலில் அனுப்பியவர்களைவிட மிகுதியான வேறு சில பணியாளர்களை அனுப்பினார். அவர்களுக்கும் அப்படியே அவர்கள் செய்தார்கள். தம் மகனை மதிப்பார்கள் என்று அவர் நினைத்துக்கொண்டு அவரை இறுதியாக அவர்களிடம் அனுப்பினார்.

அம்மகனைக் கண்டபோது தோட்டத் தொழிலாளர்கள், ‘இவன்தான் சொத்துக்கு உரியவன்; வாருங்கள், நாம் இவனைக் கொன்றுபோடுவோம்; அப்போது இவன் சொத்து நமக்குக் கிடைக்கும்’ என்று தங்களிடையே பேசிக்கொண்டார்கள். பின்பு அவர்கள் அவரைப் பிடித்து, திராட்சைத் தோட்டத்திற்கு வெளியே தள்ளிக் கொன்றுபோட்டார்கள். எனவே, திராட்சைத் தோட்ட உரிமையாளர் வரும்போது அத்தொழிலாளர்களை என்ன செய்வார்?” என இயேசு கேட்டார்.

அவர்கள் அவரிடம், “அத்தீயோரை ஈவிரக்கமின்றி ஒழித்து விடுவார்; உரிய காலத்தில் தமக்குச் சேர வேண்டிய பங்கைக் கொடுக்க முன்வரும் வேறு தோட்டத் தொழிலாளர்களுக்கு அத்திராட்சைத் தோட்டத்தைக் குத்தகைக்கு விடுவார்” என்றார்கள். இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “ ‘கட்டுவோர் புறக்கணித்த கல்லே கட்டடத்துக்கு மூலைக்கல் ஆயிற்று. ஆண்டவரால் இது நிகழ்ந்துள்ளது; நம் கண்களுக்கு இது வியப்பாயிற்று!’ என்று நீங்கள் மறைநூலில் ஒருபோதும் வாசித்தது இல்லையா? எனவே உங்களிடமிருந்து இறையாட்சி அகற்றப்படும்; அவ்வாட்சிக்கு ஏற்ற முறையில் செயல்படும் ஒரு மக்களினத்தார் அதற்கு உட்படுவர் என நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன்.”

தலைமைக் குருக்களும் பரிசேயரும் அவருடைய உவமைகளைக் கேட்ட போது, தங்களைக் குறித்தே அவர் கூறினார் என்று உணர்ந்துகொண்டனர். அவர்கள் அவரைப் பிடிக்க வழிதேடியும் மக்கள் கூட்டத்தினர் அவரை இறைவாக்கினர் என்று கருதியதால் அவர்களுக்கு அஞ்சினார்கள்.

இஸ்ரயேல் முதிர்ந்த வயதில் தமக்கு யோசேப்பு பிறந்தமையால் அவரை மற்றெல்லாப் புதல்வரையும்விட அதிகமாக நேசித்து வந்தார். அவருக்கு அழகு வேலைப்பாடுகள் நிறைந்த ஓர் அங்கியைச் செய்து கொடுத்தார். அவருடைய சகோதரர்கள் தங்கள் தந்தை அவரை எல்லாரிலும் அதிகமாய் நேசிக்கிறாரென்று கண்டு அவரை வெறுத்தனர். அவர்களால் அவரோடு பாசத்துடன் பேச இயலவில்லை.

அப்படி இருக்கையில் அவர் சகோதரர் செக்கேமில் தம் தந்தையின் மந்தைகளை மேய்க்கச் சென்றனர். இஸ்ரயேல் யோசேப்பை நோக்கி; “உன் சகோதரர்கள் செக்கேமில் ஆடு மேய்க்கிறார்கள் அல்லவா? அவர்களிடம் உன்னை அனுப்பப்போகிறேன்” என்றார். யோசேப்பு தம் சகோதரரைத் தேடிச் சென்று தோத்தானில் அவர்களைக் கண்டுபிடித்தார்.

தொலையில் அவர் வருவதைக் கண்ட அவர்கள் தங்களுக்கு அருகில் அவர் வருமுன் அவரைக் கொல்லத் திட்டமிட்டனர். அவர் சகோதரர்கள் ஒருவர் ஒருவரை நோக்கி, “இதோ வருகிறான் கனவின் மன்னன்! நாம் அவனைக் கொன்று இந்த ஆழ்குழிகளுள் ஒன்றில் தள்ளிவிட்டு, ஒரு கொடிய விலங்கு அவனைத் தின்றுவிட்டதென்று சொல்வோம். அப்பொழுது அவனுடைய கனவுகள் என்ன ஆகும் என்று பார்ப்போம்” என்றனர்.

ரூபன் இவற்றைக் கேட்டு, அவரை அவர்கள் கையிலிருந்து தப்புவிக்கும் எண்ணத்தில் அவர்களை நோக்கி, “நாம் அவனைச் சாகடிக்க வேண்டாம்” என்றார். ரூபன் அவர்களை நோக்கி, “அவன் இரத்தத்தைச் சிந்தாதீர்கள். அவனைப் பாலை நிலத்திலுள்ள இந்த ஆழ்குழிக்குள் தள்ளிவிடுங்கள். அவன் மீது கை வைக்காதீர்கள்” என்று சொன்னார். ஏனெனில் அவர் அவர்கள் கையிலிருந்து அவரைத் தப்புவித்துத் தம் தந்தையிடம் சேர்ப்பிக்கும் நோக்கம் கொண்டிருந்தார்.

யோசேப்பு தம் சகோதரரிடம் வந்து சேர்ந்தவுடன் அவர் அணிந்திருந்த அழகு வேலைப்பாடுகள் நிறைந்த அங்கியை உரிந்துவிட்டு, அவரை ஆழ்குழியில் தூக்கிப் போட்டனர். அது தண்ணீரில்லாத வெறும் குழி.

பின்பு, அவர்கள் உணவு அருந்தும்படி அமர்ந்தனர். அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் கண்களை உயர்த்தி, கிலயாதிலிருந்து வந்துகொண்டிருந்த இஸ்மயேலரின் வணிகக் குழுவைப் பார்த்தனர். நறுமணப் பொருள்களையும், தைல வகைகளையும், வெள்ளைப் போளத்தையும் அவர்கள் ஒட்டகங்களின்மேல் ஏற்றி எகிப்திற்குச் சென்று கொண்டிருந்தனர். அப்பொழுது யூதா தம் சகோதரர்களை நோக்கி, “நாம் நம் சகோதரனைக் கொன்று அவன் இரத்தத்தை மறைப்பதனால் நமக்கு என்ன பயன்? வாருங்கள்; இஸ்மயேலருக்கு அவனை விற்றுவிடுவோம். அவன் மேல் நாம் கை வைக்க வேண்டாம். ஏனெனில் அவன் நம் சகோதரனும் நம் சொந்தச் சதையுமாய் இருக்கிறான்” என்று சொல்ல, அவர்கள் சம்மதித்தனர்.

ஆகையால் மிதியான் நாட்டு வணிகர் அவர்களைக் கடந்து செல்கையில், குழியிலிருந்து யோசேப்பை வெளியே தூக்கி அந்த இஸ்மயேலரிடம் இருபது வெள்ளிக் காசுக்கு விற்றனர். அவர்களும் யோசேப்பை எகிப்திற்குக் கொண்டு சென்றனர்.

A Reading From The Holy Gospel According To Matthew (21, 33-43. 45-46) 

At that time, Jesus was saying to the high priests and the elders of the people, “Hear this parable: A man was the owner of an estate; he planted a vineyard, surrounded it with a fence, dug a wine press and built a watchtower. Then he rented this vineyard to wine growers, and went on a journey. When the time for fruit came, he sent his servants to the tenants to receive the produce of his vineyard. But the tenants seized the servants, struck one, killed the other, and stoned the third. Again the owner sent more servants than the first; but they were treated the same way. Finally, he sent his son to them, saying to himself, “They will respect my son.” But seeing the son, the vine growers said to each other: “This is the heir: come! let's kill him, we will have his inheritance! ” They grabbed him, threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him. Well ! when the master of the vineyard comes, what will he do to these winegrowers? He is answered: "These wretches, he will destroy them miserably." He will rent the vineyard to other winegrowers, who will give him the product in due course. "Jesus said to them:" Have you never read in the scriptures: The stone which the builders rejected has become the cornerstone: this is the work of the Lord, the wonder before our eyes!
