"He began to send them" 

A Reading From The Holy Gospel According To Mark (6, 7-13) 

At that time Jesus called the Twelve; so he began to send them on a mission two by two. He gave them authority over unclean spirits, and he commanded them not to take anything for the journey, but only a staff; no bread, no bag, no coins in their belt. “Put on sandals, don't take a spare tunic. He would say to them again: "When you have found hospitality in a house, stay there until you leave. If, in a locality, people refuse to welcome you and listen to you, go and shake the dust off your feet: it will be a testimony to them. "

They left, and proclaimed the need to convert. They expelled many demons, anointed many sick people with oil, and healed them.

"He chose us, in Christ, before the foundation of the world" 

Reading from the letter of Saint Paul the apostle to the Ephesians (1, 3-14) 

Blessed be God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! He has blessed and showered us with the blessings of the Spirit in heaven in Christ; He has chosen us in Christ before the foundation of the world, to be holy, spotless before Him, in love. He predestined us to be adopted sons to him by Jesus the Christ. Thus willed his goodness, to the glorious praise of his grace, the grace which he gives us in the beloved Son. In him, through his blood, we have redemption, the forgiveness of our sins. It is the richness of grace that God has made to overflow to us in all wisdom and understanding. He thus reveals to us the mystery of his will, as his goodness foresaw it in Christ: to bring times to their fullness, to recapitulate all things in Christ, those of heaven and those of earth. In him, we have become the particular domain of God, we have been predestined there according to the plan of the one who achieves all that he has decided: he wanted us to live to the praise of his glory, we who have to advance hoped for in Christ; in him you also, after having heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and having believed in it, you have received the mark of the Holy Spirit. And the Spirit promised by God is a first advance on our inheritance, in view of the redemption that we will obtain, to the praise of his glory. after hearing and believing the word of truth, the Gospel of your salvation, you have received the mark of the Holy Spirit. In those days Amazias, the priest of Bethel, said to the prophet Amos: “You seer, go out of here, flee into the land of Judah; it is there that you will be able to earn your living by doing your profession as a prophet. But here at Bethel, stop prophesying; for it is a royal sanctuary, a temple of the kingdom. Amos replied to Amazias: “I was not a prophet nor the son of a prophet; I was a herdsman, and I looked after the sycamores. But the Lord grabbed me when I was behind the flock, and it was he who said to me: “Go, you will be a prophet to my people Israel.” "

அக்காலத்தில்

இயேசு தம் சீடர்களை நோக்கிக் கூறியது: “சீடர் குருவை விடப் பெரியவர் அல்ல. பணியாளரும் தம் தலைவரை விடப் பெரியவர் அல்ல. சீடர் தம் குருவைப் போல் ஆகட்டும்; பணியாளர் தம் தலைவரைப் போல் ஆகட்டும். அதுவே போதும். வீட்டுத் தலைவரையே பெயல்செபூல் என அழைப்பவர்கள் வீட்டாரைப் பற்றி இன்னும் தரக் குறைவாகப் பேச மாட்டார்களா?

எனவே, அவர்களுக்கு அஞ்சவேண்டாம். ஏனெனில் வெளிப் படாதவாறு மூடப்பட்டிருப்பது ஒன்றும் இல்லை; அறியமுடியாதவாறு மறைந்திருப்பதும் ஒன்றும் இல்லை. நான் உங்களுக்கு இருளில் சொல்வதை நீங்கள் ஒளியில் கூறுங்கள். காதோடு காதாய்க் கேட்பதை வீட்டின் மேல் தளத்திலிருந்து அறிவியுங்கள்.

ஆன்மாவைக் கொல்ல இயலாமல், உடலை மட்டும் கொல்பவர்களுக்கு அஞ்ச வேண்டாம். ஆன்மாவையும் உடலையும் நரகத்தில் அழிக்க வல்லவருக்கே அஞ்சுங்கள். காசுக்கு இரண்டு சிட்டுக் குருவிகள் விற்பதில்லையா? எனினும் அவற்றுள் ஒன்றுகூட உங்கள் தந்தையின் விருப்பமின்றித் தரையில் விழாது. உங்கள் தலைமுடியெல்லாம் எண்ணப்பட்டிருக்கின்றது. சிட்டுக் குருவிகள் பலவற்றைவிட நீங்கள் மேலானவர்கள். எனவே அஞ்சாதிருங்கள்.

மக்கள் முன்னிலையில் என்னை ஏற்றுக்கொள்பவரை விண்ணுலகில் இருக்கும் என் தந்தையின் முன்னிலையில் நானும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வேன். மக்கள் முன்னிலையில் என்னை மறுதலிப்பவர் எவரையும் விண்ணுலகில் இருக்கிற என் தந்தையின் முன்னிலையில் நானும் மறுதலிப்பேன்.”

யாக்கோபு தம் புதல்வர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டுக் கூறியது: “இதோ நான் என் இனத்தவரோடு சேர்க்கப்பட இருக்கிறேன். என்னை என் தந்தையருடன் இத்தியனான எப்ரோனின் நிலத்திலுள்ள குகையில் அடக்கம் செய்யுங்கள். அது கானான் நாட்டில் மம்ரே பகுதிக்கு அருகேயுள்ள மக்பேலாவின் நிலத்தில் அமைந்துள்ளது. ஆபிரகாம் இத்தியனான எப்ரோனிடமிருந்து அந்த நிலத்தை கல்லறை நிலத்திற்கென விலைக்கு வாங்கினார். அங்கே ஆபிரகாமையும் அவர் மனைவி சாராவையும் அடக்கம் செய்தனர்; அங்கு ஈசாக்கையும் அவர் மனைவி ரெபேக்காவையும் அடக்கம் செய்தனர்; அங்கேதான் நானும் லேயாவை அடக்கம் செய்துள்ளேன். அந்நிலமும் அக்கல்லறையும் இத்தியரிடமிருந்து விலைக்கு வாங்கப்பெற்றவை."

யாக்கோபு தம் புதல்வர்களுக்குக் கட்டளைகளை வழங்கி முடித்தபின், தம் கால்களைப் படுக்கையினுள் மடக்கிக்கொண்டு உயிர் நீத்து, தம் இனத்தாருடன் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளப்பட்டார்.

அப்பொழுது, யோசேப்பின் சகோதரர் தங்கள் தந்தை இறந்துவிட்டதைக் கண்டு, “யோசேப்பு நாம் அவருக்குச் செய்த அனைத்துத் தீமைகளையும் கருதி, இப்பொழுது நம்மை வெறுத்து உறுதியாகப் பழிவாங்குவார்” என்று எண்ணினர். எனவே அவர்கள் யோசேப்புக்கு இவ்வாறு செய்தி அனுப்பினர்: “உம் தந்தை இறப்பதற்குமுன், ‘உன் சகோதரர் உனக்குத் தீங்கிழைத்ததன் மூலம் உண்டான குற்றப்பழியையும், பாவத்தையும் மன்னித்துவிடு என்று யோசேப்புக்குச் சொல்லுங்கள்’ என்று எங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டார். ஆகவே, இப்பொழுது உம் தந்தையின் கடவுளுடைய அடியார்களாகிய எங்களின் குற்றப்பழியை மன்னித்தருளும்.” அவர்கள் இதைத் தம்மிடம் அறிவித்தபோது யோசேப்பு அழுதார்.

அவர் சகோதரரும் அழுது அவர்முன் தாள் பணிந்து, ‘நாங்கள் உம் அடிமைகள்’ என்றனர். யோசேப்பு அவர்களிடம், “அஞ்சாதீர்கள்; நான் கடவுளுக்கு இணையானவனா? நீங்கள் எனக்குத் தீமை செய்ய நினைத்தீர்கள். ஆனால் கடவுள் அதை இன்று நடப்பதுபோல், திரளான மக்களை உயிரோடு காக்கும் பொருட்டு நன்மையாக மாற்றிவிட்டார். ஆகவே இப்பொழுது அஞ்சவேண்டாம். உங்களையும் உங்கள் குழந்தைகளையும் நான் பேணிக் காப்பேன்” என்றார். இப்படியாக அவர் அவர்களுக்கு ஆறுதல் அளித்தார்; அவர்களுடன் இதமாகப் பேசிவந்தார்.

யோசேப்பும் அவர் தந்தையின் வீட்டாரும் எகிப்தில் குடியிருந்தனர். யோசேப்பு நூற்றுப் பத்து ஆண்டுகள் உயிர் வாழ்ந்தார். எப்ராயிமின் மூன்றாம் தலைமுறையைப் பார்க்கும் வரையிலும் மனாசேயின் மகன் மாக்கிரின் குழந்தைகள் தம் மடியில் விளையாடும் வரையிலும் யோசேப்பு உயிர் வாழ்ந்தார்.

யோசேப்பு தம் சகோதரரிடம், “நான் சாகும் வேளை வந்துவிட்டது. ஆனால் கடவுள் உங்களைக் கனிவுடன் சந்திக்க உறுதியாக வருவார். ஆபிரகாம், ஈசாக்கு, யாக்கோபுக்குத் தாம் கொடுப்பதாக வாக்களித்த நாட்டிற்கு இந்த நாட்டிலிருந்து அவர் உங்களை அழைத்துச் செல்வார்” என்றார். மீண்டும் யோசேப்பு, “கடவுள் உங்களைக் கனிவுடன் சந்திக்க உறுதியாக வருவார். அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் என் எலும்புகளை இங்கிருந்து எடுத்துச் செல்லுங்கள்” என்று சொல்லி, இஸ்ரயேல் புதல்வரிடமிருந்து உறுதிமொழி பெற்றுக்கொண்டார். யோசேப்பு தம் நூற்றுப்பத்தாம் வயதில் இறந்தார்.

At that time, Jesus said to his Apostles: “The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. It is enough that the disciple be like his master, and the servant like his lord. If people called Beelzebub the master of the house, it would be much worse for those in his house. Therefore do not fear these people; nothing is veiled that will not be revealed, nothing is hidden that will not be known. What I tell you in the darkness, say it in full light; what you hear in the hollow of your ear, proclaim it on the roofs. Do not fear those who kill the body without being able to kill the soul; rather fear him who can destroy soul as well as body in hell. Aren't two sparrows sold for a penny? However, not a single one falls to the ground without your Father wanting it. As for you, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. So have no fear: you are worth more than a multitude of sparrows. Whoever declares himself for me before men, I also will declare myself for him before my Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies me before men, him also will deny before my Father who is in heaven. "

In those days Jacob commanded his sons: “I will be reunited with mine. Bury me with my fathers, in the cave which is in the field of Ephrone the Hittite, in the cave of the field of Macpéla, in front of Mambre, in the land of Canaan, the field which Abraham bought from Ephrone the Hittite as funerary property. This is where Abraham and his wife Sarah were buried; it is there that Isaac and his wife Rebecca were buried; that's where I buried Leah. It is the field which was bought from the Hittites, with the cave which is there. When Jacob had finished giving his instructions to his sons, he stretched out on his bed, expired, and was reunited with his family. Seeing that their father was dead, Joseph's brothers said to each other, "If Joseph ever took us into our care. hatred, if he was going to repay us all the evil that we have done him… ”They made Joseph say:“ Before dying, your father expressed this will: “You will ask Joseph this: Please forgive your brothers their crime and their sin.
