சகோதரர் சகோதரிகளே,

ஆண்டவர் பொருட்டுக் கைதியாக இருக்கும் நான் உங்களைக் கெஞ்சிக் கேட்கிறேன்; நீங்கள் பெற்றுக்கொண்ட அழைப்புக்கு ஏற்ப வாழுங்கள். முழுமனத் தாழ்மையோடும் கனிவோடும் பொறுமையோடும் ஒருவரையொருவர் அன்புடன் தாங்கி, அமைதியுடன் இணைந்து வாழ்ந்து, தூய ஆவி அருளும் ஒருமைப்பாட்டைக் காத்துக்கொள்ள முழு முயற்சி செய்யுங்கள்.

நீங்கள் ஒரே எதிர்நோக்குக் கொண்டு வாழ அழைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறீர்கள். ஒரே எதிர்நோக்கு இருப்பது போல, உடலும் ஒன்றே; தூய ஆவியும் ஒன்றே. அவ்வாறே ஆண்டவர் ஒருவரே; நாம் கொண்டுள்ள நம்பிக்கை ஒன்றே; திருமுழுக்கு ஒன்றே. எல்லாருக்கும் கடவுளும் தந்தையுமானவர் ஒருவரே; அவர் எல்லாருக்கும் மேலானவர்; எல்லார் மூலமாகவும் செயலாற்றுபவர்; எல்லாருக்குள்ளும் இருப்பவர்.

A prayer that faithful may know the love of Christ.

A Reading from the Letter of St.Paul to the Ephesians 3:14-21 

This is what I pray, kneeling before the Father, from whom every family, whether spiritual or natural, takes its name:

  Out of his infinite glory, may he give you the power through his Spirit for your hidden self to grow strong, so that Christ may live in your hearts through faith, and then, planted in love and built on love, you will with all the saints have strength to grasp the breadth and the length, the height and the depth; until, knowing the love of Christ, which is beyond all knowledge, you are filled with the utter fullness of God.

  Glory be to him whose power, working in us, can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine; glory be to him from generation to generation in the Church and in Christ Jesus for ever and ever. Amen.

சகோதரர் சகோதரிகளே,

விண்ணுலகிலும் மண்ணுலகிலும் உள்ள ஒவ்வொரு குடும்பமும் உண்மையிலேயே குடும்பமாய் விளங்குவதற்குக் காரணமாய் இருக்கிற தந்தையிடம் நான் மண்டியிட்டு வேண்டுகிறேன். அவருடைய அளவற்ற மாட்சிக்கேற்ப உங்கள் உள்ளத்திற்கு வல்லமையும் ஆற்றலும் தம் தூயஆவி வழியாகத் தந்தருள்வாராக! நம்பிக்கையின் வழியாக, கிறிஸ்து உங்கள் உள்ளங்களில் குடிகொள்வாராக! அன்பே உங்கள் வாழ்வுக்கு ஆணிவேரும் அடித்தளமுமாய் அமைவதாக! இறைமக்கள் அனைவரோடும் சேர்ந்து கிறிஸ்துவுடைய அன்பின் அகலம், நீளம், உயரம், ஆழம் என்னவென்று உணர்ந்து, அறிவுக்கு எட்டாத இந்த அன்பை அறிந்துகொள்ளும் ஆற்றல் பெறுவீர்களாக! அதன்மூலம் கடவுளின் முழு நிறைவையும் நீங்கள் பெற்றுக்கொள்வீர்களாக!

நம்முள் வல்லமையோடு செயல்படுபவரும் நாம் வேண்டுவதற்கும் நினைப்பதற்கும் மிகவும் மேலாக அனைத்தையும் செய்ய வல்லவருமான கடவுளுக்கே திருச்சபையில் கிறிஸ்து இயேசு வழியாகத் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக என்றென்றும் மாட்சி உரித்தாகுக! ஆமென்.

The Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to St.Luke 12:39-48 

Jesus said to his disciples:

  ‘You may be quite sure of this, that if the householder had known at what hour the burglar would come, he would not have let anyone break through the wall of his house. You too must stand ready, because the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.’

  Peter said, ‘Lord, do you mean this parable for us, or for everyone?’ The Lord replied, ‘What sort of steward, then, is faithful and wise enough for the master to place him over his household to give them their allowance of food at the proper time? Happy that servant if his master’s arrival finds him at this employment. I tell you truly, he will place him over everything he owns. But as for the servant who says to himself, “My master is taking his time coming,” and sets about beating the menservants and the maids, and eating and drinking and getting drunk, his master will come on a day he does not expect and at an hour he does not know. The master will cut him off and send him to the same fate as the unfaithful.

  The servant who knows what his master wants, but has not even started to carry out those wishes, will receive very many strokes of the lash. The one who did not know, but deserves to be beaten for what he has done, will receive fewer strokes. When a man has had a great deal given him, a great deal will be demanded of him; when a man has had a great deal given him on trust, even more will be expected of him.’
