Respons: I exalt you, Lord: you lifted me up. 

Psalm 29 (30) 

I exalt you, Lord: you lifted me up.

When I cried out to you, Lord.

Lord, you brought me up from the abyss

and come alive when I came down to the pit. R 

Praise the Lord, you, his faithful,

give thanks by remembering his most holy name.

His anger lasts only a moment, his kindness, all life;

with the evening, come the tears, but in the morning, the cries of joy. R 

And I cried out to you, Lord,

I begged my God.

You turned my mourning into a dance.

May I, Lord, my God, endlessly give you thanks! R
