In those days Mary set out and eagerly went to the mountainous region, to a town in Judea. She entered Zechariah's house and greeted Elizabeth. However, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the child quivered in her. Then Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit, and cried out with a loud voice: “Blessed art thou among all women, and the fruit of thy womb is blessed. Where is it given to me that the mother of my Lord comes to me? For when your words of greeting reach my ears, the child shuddered in me for joy. Happy is the one who believed in the fulfillment of the words spoken to her from the Lord. "Mary then said:" My soul exalts the Lord, my spirit exults in God, my Savior!
