📖GOSPEL
"Rabbouni, may I regain my sight!"
A Reading From The Holy Gospel According To Mark (10, 46b-52)
At that time,
as Jesus was leaving Jericho
with his disciples and a large crowd,
Timaeus's son, Bartimaeus, a blind man begging,
was sitting by the roadside.
When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth,
he cried out:
“Son of David, Jesus, have mercy on me! "
Many people scolded him for silence them,
but he shouted all the more,
" Son of David, have mercy on me! "
Jesus stopped and said,
" Call him. "
So they called the blind, and one said,
" Trust, arise;
he is calling you. "
The blind man threw his cloak,
jumped up and ran to Jesus.
Speaking, Jesus said to her,
“What do you want me to do for you? "
The blind man said to him,
" Rabboni , that I find the view! "
And Jesus said to him:
" Go, your faith has saved you. "
Immediately he regained his sight,
and followed him on the way.
