"Don't worry about tomorrow"
A Reading From The Holy Gospel According To Matthew (6, 24-34)
At that time, Jesus said to his disciples: “No one can serve two masters: either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will cling to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.
This is why I say to you: Do not worry for your life what you will eat, nor for your body what you will clothe it with. Isn't life worth more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air: they do not sow or harvest, they do not gather in barns, and your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not yourselves worth much more than they? Who among you, by worrying, can add a cubit to the length of your life? And about clothes, why are you so worried? Observe how the lilies of the field grow: they don't work, they don't spin. Now I tell you that Solomon himself, in all his glory, was not dressed like one of them. If God gives such a garment to the grass of the field, which is there today,
So don't worry so much; don't say, “What are we going to eat?” or: “What are we going to drink?” or again: “What to dress us with?” All this the pagans are looking for. But your Heavenly Father knows you need it. Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all this will be given to you in addition. Don't worry about tomorrow: tomorrow will worry about itself; Each day has enough trouble of its. "
