PSALM
(Ps 102 (103), 1-2, 3-4, 8-9, 11-12)
R/ The Lord is tenderness and pity. (Ps 102, 8a)
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
bless his most holy name, my whole being!
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
do not forget any of his blessings!
For he forgives all your trespasses
and heals you of every disease;
he claims your life from the grave
and crowns you with love and tenderness.
The Lord is tenderness and mercy,
slow to anger and full of love;
he is not forever on trial,
does not endlessly maintain his reproaches.
As the sky dominates the earth,
so strong is its love for those who fear it;
as far as the east is from the west,
he puts our sins far from us.
Alleluia. Alleluia.
Happy Virgin Mary!
Careful to keep the word of God,
she meditated on it in her heart!
Alleluia. (cf. Lk 2, 19)
