"Come on, let's attack him" 

Reading from the book of the prophet Jeremiah (18, 18-20) 

My enemies said, “Come on, let's set up a plot against Jeremiah. The law will not disappear for lack of a priest, nor the council, for lack of sage, nor the word, for lack of prophet. Come on, let's attack him with our tongue, don't pay attention to all his words. "

But you, Lord, pay attention to me, listen to what my opponents say. How can we return bad for good? They dug a pit to lose me. Remember that I stood in your presence to speak to you on their behalf, to turn your anger away from them.
