Respons: He is with us, the God of the universe; citadel for us, the God of Jacob! 

Psalm 45 (46) 

God is for us refuge and strength,

help in distress, always offered.

We will be without fear if the earth is shaken,

if the mountains crumble in the hollow of the sea. R 

The River, its arms rejoice the city of God,

the holiest of the abodes of the Most High.

God stands there: it is unshakeable;

when the morning is reborn, God helps her. R 

He is with us, the Lord of the universe;

citadel for us, the God of Jacob!

Come and see the acts of the Lord,

he destroys war to the ends of the earth. R
