SECOND READING
"This is his command: to put our faith in the name of Jesus Christ and to love one another"
Reading from the first letter of Saint John (3, 18-24)
Little children, do not love in words or in words, but in deeds and in truth. This is how we will recognize that we belong to the truth, and before God we will appease our hearts; for if our heart accuses us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows all things; beloved, if our heart does not accuse us, we are confident before God. Whatever we ask of God, we receive it from him, because we keep his commandments, and do what is pleasing in his sight. Now, this is his command: to put our faith in the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he has commanded us. Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him; and this is how we recognize that he remains in us, since he has given us part in his Spirit.
The Word of the Lord.

🌿Gospel Acclamation.
Hallelujah, Hallelujah! Be with me as I am with you. If anyone joins me he will bear much fruit, says the Lord. Hallelujah.
