A Reading From The Holy Gospel According To Mark (10, 28-31) 

At that time Peter began to say to Jesus: “Here we have left everything to follow you. "Jesus declared:" Amen, I say to you, no one will have left, for my sake and the Gospel, a house, brothers, sisters, mother, father, children or land without quitting. 'he is already receiving the hundredfold: houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and lands, with persecutions, and, in the world to come, eternal life.
