What joy when I was told,
“We will go to the house of the Lord! "
Now our feet are
standing within your gates, O Jerusalem! R
Jerusalem, here you are within your walls: a
city where everything is one!
That's where the tribes go up,
the tribes of the Lord. R
This is where Israel is to give thanks
in the name of the Lord.
This is the seat of law,
the seat of the house of David. R
