I will walk in the presence of the Lord in the land of the living.

Psalm : (114 (116a), 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 8-9) (cf. 114, 9) 

I love the Lord:

he hears the cry of my prayer;

he inclines his ear to me:

all my life, I will invoke him. R 

I was caught in the net of death, caught in the bonds of the abyss,

I felt sadness and anguish;

I called on the name of the Lord:

“Lord, please deliver me! R 

The Lord is righteousness and pity,

our God is tenderness.

The Lord defends the little ones:

I was weak, he saved me. R 

He saved my soul from death,

kept my eyes from tears and my feet from stumbling.

I will walk in the presence of the Lord

in the land of the living. R
