“One Body, one Lord, one faith, one baptism” 

Reading of the letter of Saint Paul the apostle to the Ephesians 4 : 1-6 

Brothers,

    I who am in prison for the Lord's sake, 

I urge you to conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of your vocation:

    have much humility, gentleness and patience, 

support one another with love; 

    take care to keep unity in the Spirit 

by the bond of peace. 

    As your vocation has called you all to one hope,

so there is one Body and one Spirit. 

    There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 

    one God and Father of all, 

above all, through all, and in all. 

    - Word of the Lord.
