Respons: Lord my God, you are my refuge. 

Psalm 7 

Lord my God, you are my refuge!

I am being pursued: save me, deliver me!

Otherwise they will cut my throat, all these wild beasts,

tear me apart, without anyone freeing me. R 

Judge me, Lord, on my righteousness:

my innocence speaks for me.

Put an end to the rage of the wicked, strengthen the righteous,

you who scrutinize hearts and loins, God, the righteous. R 

I will have my shield with God,

the savior of righteous hearts.

God judges righteously;

I will sing the name of the Lord, the Most High. R
