Respons: Here I am, Lord, I come to do your will. 

Psalm 39 (40) 

You wanted neither an offering nor a sacrifice, 

you opened my ears;

you were not asking for a burnt offering or a victim,

so I said, “Behold, I am coming. R 

“In the book,

what you want me to do is written for me .

My God, this is what I love:

your law is in my bowels. R 

I proclaim righteousness

in the great assembly;

See, I'm not holding my lips,

Lord, you know that. R 

I have not buried your righteousness in the depths of my heart,

I have not hidden your fidelity, your salvation;

I have spoken your love and your truth

to the great assembly. R
