I exalt you, Lord: you lifted me up. 

Psalm (29 (30), 2.4, 5-6ab, 6cd.12, 13) (29, 2a) 

I exalt you, Lord: you raised me up,

you spare me the laughter of the enemy.

Lord, you brought me up from the abyss

and come alive when I came down to the pit. R 

Praise the Lord, you, his faithful,

give thanks by remembering his most holy name.

His anger only lasts a moment,

his kindness lasts a lifetime. R 

With the evening, come the tears,

but in the morning, the cries of joy.

You have changed my mourning into a dance,

my funeral clothes into an adornment of joy. R 

May my heart not be silent, may

it be in feast for you,

and may

I thank you endlessly, Lord, my God ! R
