My soul thirsts for you, Lord my God! 

Psalm 62 (63), 2, 3-4, 5-6, 8-9) (Ps 62, 2b) 

God, you are my God, I seek you from dawn:

my soul thirsts for you;

after you languishes my flesh,

arid land, thirsty, without water. R 

I beheld you in the sanctuary,

I saw your strength and your glory.

Your love is better than life:

you will be the praise of my lips! R 

All my life I will bless you,

raise my hands calling on your name.

As with a feast, I will be satisfied;

joy on the lips, I will say your praise. R 

Yes, you came to my rescue:

I cry out for joy in the shade of your wings.

My soul clings to you,

your right hand supports me. R
